I believe Rob had the shipping issue. I had the "we're not gonna tell you for two weeks that we don't have what you ordered" issue. Outside of that, they do ship pretty damn fast.

My wife ordered me a Beastie. I see the ****ing box it's in sitting on the shelf. This angers me.

During the holiday sale there were problems. Hell I placed my order on nov 30 and didn't get it until the 16th. I had to call just to see what was up. I understand they got bombed with orders, but they could have at least sent an email

You're in for a nasty treat. I like it so much that I ordered another one.

I'm dying to open it to his those spots on my back. She ordered off of Amazon and I believe it came in a two pack.

Maybe I can take a knife and carefully open the box...

That's where I got the second one. Much faster shipping and my wife had Prime through them.

Nice work, boss! A tri-set for assistance? I'd need scraped off the floor.

Days like this is why I hate lifting solo sometimes. It's hard to maintain confidence by yourself with bigger numbers. Plus, it's nice having someone call you center under the bands. I was fighting that bitch the whole time. I feel as though I'm getting a chest cold so the ammonia helped me breathe. I <3 Ammonia. My goal was 2, hit 3, wasn't going to do 4 by myself. It's my first time using the lights for reverse band. I need to calculate how much weight is lost in the hole.

I'll be doing heavy Pendlay rows on my deadlift and/or squat day. I read a Tony G article about it. He talked about how it's still a bit taxing on your lower back, so you might as well do them on your pull or squat day, and give your lower back a break the other days. I'll buy it.

I wish I could use light bands the way you do. As it turns out I'm too tall and the bands are all slack at lockout and go everywhere on the bar.

Can you choke them, or use them outside the weights as I do? There's tension at the top, but not much stretch.

I could double or triple knot the bands on the rack, but simply choking them is not enough since what the bands will do is make no contact with the bar until I'm partially down and then when they do they make contact asymmetrically and deload the bar asymmetrically. Not ideal for heavy weight squatting, lol, and certainly not for overloads.

Double over a monster mini?

Yeah that's what I do now. Works well. Just gets to be a competition for bands at my gym sometimes, lol.

Why you gotta one-up my reverse band sq's.

I'm gonna try those Grippers when I get back from my buddy, you really like em?

I forgot what ya reverse banded last time :(

I love the wraps so much that without hesitation, I gave away my Blue Arrows today at the gym. The Grippers hurt like hell the first time but after that, they're awesome. I did notice only a couple broken rubber strands around where I tie off though.

545x3 last week w/ my potato foot. Think I've done 565x3. But you out-squat me anyways.

Ok, I'm definitely trying them next month when I get back. The guy who had them hates them and loved my Black Mambas, might just trade.

Damn, I didn't want your blue arrows anyway.

Nice work man. That pedlays after deads seem like a good idea too. Figure after some heavy deads the rows will feel like feathers . Might give it a go if my back is up for it

BETTER than the Blue Arrows? Man... I think I want a little more to sit on, but that's still stretchy. I was thinking about getting Mark Bell's new red ones, Lilliebridge World Record Wraps. They're tough stuff.

Those aren't legal in all the feds yet.

Someone I knew got the mark bell wraps and said they suck, super thick and bunches with no spring.

I'd be curious to know what those bands give you out of the hole as well, because that **** looked super easy.

No knee swim, nothing. Just fücking butter smooth from top to bottom.

Nice work dude, seriously.

If it's anything like my setup with the same light bands, ~70 off the bottom.

I'm gonna go with 75-100 out of the hole. Majority if the tension is released around the stick point. And thanks dude. I'm concentrating hard on keeping my legs externally rotated on the way up.

Edit: What Nomz sais

What does ammonia do?

Summons fücking demons from your soul.

And this. Adrenaline rush and big air. It wears off after time. When I have to take 5 huge huffs, that's when I know it's time to stop using it..

Ammonia Inhalents

Most commonly referred to as "smelling" or "sniffing" salts, the main and active ingredient for this stimulant is Ammonium carbonate. It is most notable for its use, prevention, and treatment of dizziness and fainting, Ammonium carbonate is described as a respiratory stimulant that elicits its powerful physiological effect when inhaled or sniffed. McCrory (2006) reported that when inhaled, it causes a rapid and extreme irritation of the lungs, nose, and mucus membranes of the nasal cavity. This results in a simultaneous and rapid inhalation reflex that produces involuntary inhalation. This reflex then stimulates the muscles that regulate breathing, which increases breathing and stimulates a higher degree of consciousness.

One would think that the prevalence of AI use amongst athletes would create the need for more scientific literature; however, scientific literature examining the use of AI amongst athletes is virtually nonexistent, and there is currently no research investigating the prevalence of AI use amongst athletes. Nonetheless, the scope of use of AIs is primarily due to anecdotal reports and observation via popularity and extent of use. The primary time of use among athletes is immediately before or during competition. During training, AI use is often before or during high-intensity resistance training, usually seen before 1RM attempts such as the squat, bench press, and deadlift.

Although the use of all stimulants do and can pose some risk and side effects, particularly when used frequently or over long periods of time, AIs are generally considered safe for their specific use in treating fainting,or dizziness. Yet, to date there is no evidence on their safety or performance advantage when used by athletes during training or competition. It's worth mentioning that a very early study by Herrick (1983) reported a case of anaphylaxis in a female powerlifter as a result of AI use. In this specific case, the athlete experienced an acute case of anaphylaxis during a competition after the inhalation of an AI. As the lifter was preparing for an attempt at a national powerlifting record, the lifter inhaled the contents of an AI and immediately began suffering worsening signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis. One noteworthy aspect to mention is that the regular use of AIs, combined with their psychological effects, may influence athletes to attempt a lift at an intensity at which they may not be able to complete, thus increasing the risk of injury. However, no such evidence exists, and more importantly, competitors and lifters should always know what they are capable of doing and their limitations. Although more research is needed with this particular stimulant, the use of AIs certainly does give athletes an advantage.

This is the good shít. A freshly opened bottle after not using it for a month, where it makes your eyes water and uncontrollably cough is the greatest. Biggest kick in the ass ever.

LOVE tork. I could barely see through all the tears when I stepped up and pulled 550, they didn't go away for awhile. I was worried people were going to think I was getting emotional.

I need some tork. My buddy billy hooked me up with some ammonia caps at the meet and I gota admit I liked it.

Alright guys, I ****ed up.

I tweaked my knee bad today.

Did some cambered bar squats, hips were feeling tight so I brought my stance in and wasn't sitting back as hard as usual (loading my hips hurt). Thus, I had some forward shin angle.
Squats didn't hurt it.

When I squatted down to get into the hack squat, my knee crunched something nasty. It doesn't hurt, but this sensation came back at work when I squatted down to pick something up. As soon as I shifted my foot, immense pain and the cracking sensation came back.

Now i'm pain free, but I feel a slight sliding /popping on the medial/bottom side of my knee when I squat to a few inches above parallel..

Took a bit of ibuprofen, and i'm feeling alright.

Wat do?

I'm going to see my Chiro / art guy on Monday but it's not even Saturday afternoon yet

Sorry to hijack Sean, just wanted some input from you guys

Edit: if I can't squat Monday or Friday my Christmas is ruined.

Rodja and jimbuick have had bad knees I believe. Maybe even napalm ?

I have no idea dude. Ive gotten knee pain from a bad wrap or just aches, but nothing like that. I'm sure you're looking up SuperD stuff already.

I have no idea what I did. I never felt anything until I tried to squat down into the hack squat. Right now, roughly fourteen hours later it feels normal with slight hints of it being tweaked.. We'll see how it feels when I wake up.

I haven't looked up any super d, I've been at work all night :(

Wtf do you mean maybe napalm, of course napalm has had knee surgery - 4 of them.

This has a meniscus sound to it. If it were ACL, you would have heard 1 pop and that would be it. aceroni, lie on your back with your leg elevated and have someone try to move the lower leg up and down in a short motion. Of there is obvious play, it'd be ACL.

Probably not ACL, but meniscus. There's no test that I can remember for meniscus other than an MRI. Get it checked brother, good luck.

Edit: support the lower leg at the posterior ankle and calf when checking for play at the joint. When lying on the back, flex the hip so the knee is pointing up. Then just grab the lower leg and try to move it up and down...
