Anyone can be lean, regardless if their parents are fat asses or not. Blaming being fat on genetics is a complete cop out. Both my parents were overweight. two of my brothers are fat and one is morbidly obese. I am at about 12% BF right now and have been for 20+ years. The difference? I work my ass off at the gym and I don't eat garbage.

Good for you. Do you think that means everyone is like you? Pretty boring world if all we had to look at was your face....
 
I'm not saying "hey look at me" I am saying the whole "genetically predisposed to be fat" deal is pretty much bogus and I was giving an example to debunk it based on my own experience with my family and our genes. Although the world would indeed be more boring, it also would considerably better looking as a whole if more people did look like me. :)
