Hhmmm I see what they r trying to accomplish but man there's no way to not supplement for recovery. I just don't see it possible, anyone try something similar

Your legs would b continuously sore, I don't see how the hell that wouldn't b detrimental to growth.

It's a variation of the Smolov squat program. People have been doing it since the 80's. I did it in college several times for jump training for volleyball in the off season. Great results, great strength increases, soreness goes away very quickly, and my patellar tendonitis got better. Went from a 27" vertical to 29.5" vertical my first time around. After my fourth off season with it I was at a 34" vertical. Not bad for a 6'1" white kid.

I am currently doing something similar with upper body work. I do push-up variations ( or dips) combined with rows every day. I increase the volume by adding a rep or by going heavy on some days. I decided to do this because work is cutting into my gym time. Recovery is key and involves a lot of stretching and protein. I've been at for a couple weeks and I think I'm noticing results because my reps per set of dips is climbing as is my pull ups per set.

Ive seen it done before literally, but the weight wasn't quite as extreme and prescription was changed at the end of 2 week cycles. I had 185lb volleyball player reach gains of 25lbs and vertical jump increase of 4inches. Now other factors were included and it is rough on the body but results are still results, just not everyone gets them the same

Ive been doing the same for arms as I cannot commit just one day to them so I do them everyday in some fashion. If you can work continuous work on a muscle group and not impend functional activity I say go for it. I usually do dips and pullups randomly throughout my workouts anyway and haven't seen detrimental effects yet.

I know for my legs I doubt Id be able to recover with even 48hrs in-between, but with only one working set I think its possible.

Def. gna have to throw this into play

Off season right now. I started prepping August 12th(day of accident) show was November 2nd, just my luck lol. Yeah my genetics r pretty beast lol, I can't lie. I've been eating everything with very little fat gain. I get shredded fast if I tweak my diet, but I'm enjoying the everyday splurge lol.

I love her... She's my # 1 inspiration ... Just love that girl, wow...

She is a beast, I think she's gonna dominate for awhile. Mine is Phil Heath, a lot of ppl tell me my build is very similar to his and I'm light skinned too, but I'm just a lot smaller lol. I plan on going pro in my later 20s, I'll b 22 in march. I've been successful so far though.
