napalm: 12 weeks to WPC Worlds...ya, really...

Ohh... That went over my head.

Well you do live in Detriot man. It's like snow in Alaska, you just kinda expect it.

Do you carry concealed?

no, late 80's and early 90's were a bad stretch.

that said, i'm sitting on my couch, there's a 38 in the cushion next to me, a k-bar on the table, a 9mm in the kitchen and 2 12 g next to my bed.

as eminem once said, welcome to detroit, sorry we missed you...

Make a panic room. I saw the movie, it was cool

lemme drop a little napalm history:

i live on the west side, when i moved here in 1998 my neighborhood was great. a mix of retired auto workers and really blue collar type folks, black, white, yellow and green. everybody took care of their shyt.

things started to slide in the early 2000's, housing prices were dropping like a rock. in 2008 when the bottom fell out, everybody in my neighborhood's house value decreased by 50%

in come the lowlifes of every race, color and creed trying to carve their little spot, hence, gunshots before like 7pm every day continuing through the night.

we gotta take my kid outside the city for school, there just ain't no way.

i make enough money to move, i just can't take a 50k hit on my house and i ain't walking away from it.

i'm hoping that if i stay here long enough that things will come full circle

the end...

Hey man it's only 50k. There are more important things. I'd **** my pants if I heard gunshots in my neighborhood

Lol what I mean is peace of mind and knowing I'm safer where I live is probably worth it. Least to me.

But napalm is a badass. After all he was a Vietnam sniper

I don't live in a rich area or anything, and my area is going down in quality of residents id say. But no gun shots
I don't either and mine is too. Almost seems to be nationwide with the exception of a few places. Gun shots mean nothing unless the projectile finds a home near you. I just imagine that it's the Fourth of July everyday.

Well that's a good way to look at it I guess. I'm a make like the Oregon trail and head out west when I'm older.

The projectiles where I live tend to travel horizontal, not vertical, and they can go through houses...

I'm sure that's something you can relate too

I don't have gun shots, but the neighbors dog keeps jumping the fence and tearing up the trash bags...at first I was like "this place is going to ****" and now I'm like "this is my home y'all."

Pretty much tomato tamato with you guys

I remember every Friday during the summer there were drag races one street to the east of front street just a little south of where veterans stadium used to be. I forgot the name of the street. Cops would let it go until somebody did something stupid than they would shut it down...

Races occur every Friday and sat in the port Richmond area.

And veterans stadium... Lol what a sht hole

Dude they stadium is legend young man

Dude lets be real. It's like og Yankee stadium. Full of history and it's a really cool experience, but the actual stadium whether it's seating, facilities, state of the building, etc... It all was old and crappy. It was time for Yankee stadium, and it was absolutely time for the vet.

And what legend at vet stadium? A few baseball championships? Big deal

You are too young.

Teams hated playing in the vet and it was legend around football. Every coach from those times has a story about that place. It's one if the first things asked on local radio. Kids and their lack of appreciation...

I <3'd the vet, went there around 8 times over the 2 yrs I was stationed in Philly.

It was a fun time when I went as a young buck, but they definitely needed seperate stadiums for teams and it was time

Yea it was hell for teams to play there. We would throw snowballs at Santa and teams would fear us.
How many Super Bowls we win there again? When it comes down to it, that's all that matters.

Your all like " hey it was badass there! We never won but it was great"

Sometimes smoker, listening to you is like finger nails on a chalkboard for me.

When that happens you keep listening. Bc when a teacher does that, they usually say something important shortly after.... Nawhmsayin

I didn't know that was the venue's fault. Just like I wasn't going to let the Pirates' losing keep me from PNC Park, the best place to watch a game in North America.

Calling all pl'rs, there is a stupid fcking - - and I hesitate to call it this - article in the news section besmirching what we do. I expect everyone of you to go to the comments and hang this jackass by his balls

That is all...

Damn, tony Dorsett w CTE. I think he came up on this thread about 29 pages ago...

I brought him up in a video awhile back. This is a shame, it's not like he got pummeled as shifty as he was. Just toted the pigskin too many times.

There is a bronco player who at like 27 just retired Bc he didn't think the risks were worth the reward. He left 1 mil plus by walking away
