Sean's Powerlifting Journey

I've always liked pulling in a heel. Not that this was a regular thing, but back in 2010-2011 there was a stretch of time where I would deadlift in boots. Those were always awesome sessions, despite the elevated heel and somewhat of a deficit.

How's everyone's self esteem today? Good?

Let me help with that.

You should have seen what Sean showed me today. It has spoiled my lifting career forever. =(

2.0s are apparently stiffer. Any take on that? Also, you're squatting two Oprahs, I'm not near that. That would play a factor in the soft heel feel right?

lol I wish I squatted 6 bills. lol at edit even more.

You want a solid heel no matter how much you're squatting, they made the heel soft so you could do your silly WOD too.

I heard the ones you got Para are good until X amount of weight. Still better than runnin shoes. Just isn't the hardest of heals

PT test passed. It's my worst run time ever.

1.5 Mile in 12:30 (12:52 is alloted time)
60 push-ups in a minute
55 sit-ups in a minute (**** my hip flexors)

First time running in 6 months.

Passing is passing. C's get degrees my man

It's the tren, dude. Kills your cardio.

:biglaugh:

Fawk running, passing is passing.

I don't get the hate for the smell. Doesn't it smell just like toothpaste?

Congrats on passing, btw.

No tren for me! The Enhanced I took beforehand wasnt a good idea though

That, and everyone was pissed because I covered myself head to toe in Blue Heat.

I know, I'm just fawking with you.

I'd die if I had to run for 12'.

I like the Adidas PL 2.0; yes they have an EVA midsole, and don't have the wood heel wedge, but stability is not an issue at all. They don't feel any different than my Sambas. The heaviest I have gone on them is ~500#, plus my ~300#, but if I ever get to squatting Sean numbers I still don't think they'll be unstable.

JMHO...but if Dan Green squats in em they'll work for me.

Also...fawk Crossfit.

Congrats on passing the PT test. My brother had a pushup test and he got 50. That qualified him as "Fair", just one step above "Poor" and the second lowest out of five classifications. Mind you this is for a mandatory freshman in college course, filled with mostly Non-Athletic Regular Persons.
