Vick has only had 1 bad game. Bottom line is the eagles are still in the division and they shiukd Win the next two games to be 3-3

Vick has an incentive ladden contract this year, not being paid much. And the chiefs brought in a much better qb then they had. It was time for a change. Do you think if the eagles had Reid they'd be 4-0?

Wasn't happy with the 225 even after all the other work. The problem is the weight should have went up easy but at the bottom my forearm, close to the elbow, and if your palm is up to the outside, felt some pain at the bottom of the lift. Not a lot of pain, but enough to screw the groove up. I need to start working on someway to combat this because everything wasn't bad, even with a sore body, except that. I wrapped up my elbow/forearm with some jointforce spray under the wrap. I need to look into getting that feeling better. I may do voodoo flossing on light bench next week(deload week) to see if it helps it out. Gonna check out all I can because that is definitely my limiting factor. Anyone have any input let me know.

Still kinda beat but 6:30am squats tomorrow.
 
Still 265 is nice bro. Definitely increased your stregnth. And with that pain it's a great time for the Deload.
 
That's the exact pain I've been talking about in my log, my dude. Do some specialty bar squatting for a couple three weeks, bench with a false grip and/or partial ROM, mash the hell out of your upper bicep, mobilize your pecs and internal rotators, and learn to squat with a tight back with a wider grip. It's all from bony processes in the shoulder pinching on the origin of the ol' bicep, bud.

You guys think that using that arm religiously as the under hand on deads could have anything to do with it?

You could try switching it up man, but id wait to see how you feel after Deload. It comes at a good time for both of us. And maybe it has something to do with tightness in the bicep or shoulder? I think herder said somethin like that too

Oh I'm going to work all the areas. I am curious as to a cause as well to attempt to avoid another repetitive injury.

Maybe, just maybe your arms aren't locked out for dead? Your elbow is a little bent and your forearm is having more pressure?
Maybe you pull more with arm then the other and thus is causing more stress?

2 cents and for what it's worth, personally, I always switch grip every set to not constantly torque my body in the same direction. (Plus it keeps my grip balanced)
I also know guys who are allergic to straps or think using them is sissyifus, but I am concerned with training my back, hips and legs and won't let a weaker grip possibly get in the way of larger loads. Oh I love that dirty talk. (I think my grip actually improves using straps, as my nervous system gets used to lifting the heaviest loads with them and thus I seem to get transfer to reg mixed.
Lastly, repping with a mixed grip has you pulling for a while longer in a torqued position too. So any repping over 5+, I will usually don straps.

I doubt it makes a difference as long as your arms are locked (as they should be)

Herders explanation with the squat seem much more likely, so it sounds like your two best options are
1. Dramatically improve shoulder mobility
2. Widen your hand placement on squats.

I don't have this issue because my shoulder mobility is pretty good (for now at least) but you may be better off squatting with a wide hand placement and learning to keep your back tight that way.

FWIW, I never strap up for DLs. I generally use Hook Grip for as long as I can when working up in weights.before switching to my usual Over/Under grip.

We share the same opinion.

A lot of guys don't use straps but then again they don't pull as much as I do either. Maybe some correlation there?

Rob I'm trying to back track and get the whole story on what's hurting you.

Edit: I have nothing else to add. Could be a few things. Get some rest, both time off and sleep, if you wana heal.

I try to play all the odds and co ver as many bases as possible.
If I sup my lft hand out, it feels very natural to turn my torso to the left and almost odd to go rt. and vice versa.
When you got #500+ in your hand, does that make a difference after months/years??? I dunno, maybe, maybe not!?!?

I am on my second set of straps over the last 15 or so years. Those Ironminds are pretty beastly canvas.
And they smell almost as good as my knee sleeves...........!!!!! I could sell those, as chemical weapons or some kind of nervous system destroyer.

Felt like a great workout. Still need to open the front of the hips a little because it takes awhile to warm up. Later sets always feel better than early sets. I am trying to gauge where I think I can go with this. I will during the later weeks add in walk outs to see where I am comfortable going. Any Critiques are welcome of course. Just felt good to have a great workout. Skipping press this week bc schedule and bicep insertion thing, but deads on Friday. Then deload.

This is the one lift that consistently got better through cube and 5/3/1. Just gotta make my stupid body handle the other lifts too.

Bench has done up too mang. If you keep healthy with the back, I'm sure you can break 415

And that is all she wrote. I could have done more than a triple but the goal is health...plus I knew there was more pulling to do. I have one video but smoker isn't the best camera man. It is shaky like a leaf and the angle is all wrong so it is small. It is nothing big anyways. Deload week, then start of 3/5/1. It is actually working out that my training maxes on the second cycle of 3/5/1 are going to be what I intend on openers to be, or at least close to it.

Deload ****ers Invalid Link Removed Did this go round 6 times(see my mobility pitfalls) Then did a super set of wide stance wood chops and side bridges 5 times. Then eliteFTS series and mobility stuff. This week is just speed work, mobility work, unilateral work, and core. Oh, weigh 208 today. So freaking hard to eat more...but I must!
