breezy's training, supplementation, and food log

Because it's the cool thing to do :D. I decided to give it a try 6+ months ago and after a few weeks noticed less bloating and was just feeling better overall. The difference has been pretty significant, especially when consuming around 5000 calories daily.

I have been toying with the idea, but a neighbour who is going gluten free told me not to unless there was a reason why, as you loose taste/texture - that true?

Not at all.
You'll feel much better without those carb sources in 90% of the people.

Clean food= foods that don't bother your stomach and make you bloated IMO

Well, I am going to have to give it a go.
 
I love eating gluten free. I feel like the carbs don't hang around forever.. and my body utilizes them much better

I didn't feel weighed down at all from the 600g+ over 3 hours time (AP helps though).

My weight still hasn't gone up from the extra carbs/cals (1100). I'm actually down a pound from my pre-refeed weight. I'll probably experiment with 700g next week. :thumbsup:
 
AP is magic sometimes brother! If I have a cheat meal I ALWAYS take AP.. Most of the time it basically erases it...

Yeah, AP is a staple for me. I'm looking forward to adding Recompadrol to my arsenal as well (haven't tried it).

-Tate Press: The addition of bands worked well. The setup was similar to the elbows-out extensions that I did on the standing preacher curl pad. My triceps were toast after these. I'll try to get videos of all the new band work that I did today.

-curls: Working the bottom half of the movement. I was basically lying down, so full ROM would cause me to lose a lot of tension at the top (worked top half next).

-band extensions: I put a band around one end of a flat bench and positioned myself at the other. This allowed for a good stretch, back behind my head. They were very simple and effective.

-band bb curls: I used a wide/thin band (gold one seen in some videos) and kept the ends under my feet with it centered over the middle of the BB. The width made it easy to have the tension pulling directly from the center of the bar and keep the added resistance even for both arms. Since I was seated, the top half of the movement was the main focus. These were just as brutal as the banded HS preachers and I’ll continue doing them.

I haven't decided exactly how I'll be using them yet, but should have it figured out soon. I plan on using Metabolic Powder pre-workout (fasted) and for refeeds though.

Thanks wasme. I've got my diet and training dialed in, along with well thought out supplementation. Hopefully, I can keep the progress moving at a steady pace.

I could've used them today, as I spent 3 hours at a nice Italian restaurant, staring at the endless amounts of pasta, pizza, and desserts that surrounded me. I ate some grilled chicken breast and broccoli, but most likely would've enjoyed a slice or two with Recompadrol and Metabolic Powder for damage control. I'll give MP a try in the morning before my (fasted) back session.

No gym today. I got in 45 mins of fasted LISS this morning with OxyELITE Pro Advanced, A-T2, Compound 20, AP, F-95, and Metabolic Powder taken prior.

Carbs are at a minimum for the day and I'm feeling pretty rundown. I've had a headache for a few hours, been urinating like crazy, and want to take a nap. It looks like I've entered ketosis after consuming 200-250g carbs (including a lot of fiber) daily, since last refeed. I believe the additions of Recompadrol and MP, along with AP and my training, have allowed for the quick transition with a higher carb intake.

I can't wait for tomorrow's refeed. After monitoring how I've responded in the previous weeks and how long it's taken for my weight to return to baseline, I plan on shooting for ~800g carbs in 3-4 hours time.

I'm hitting the gym for a fasted chest/shoulder session. Chicken and egg whites are on the post-workout menu and will be eaten again before today's refeed around 5pm. Calories and carbs will be through the roof, so hopefully my upper chest soaks them up lol.

Yeah, I enjoy torturing myself :D. You should try those incline pull aparts, solo or after some bent-over DB laterals.

I think I will. Always can use some cool rear delt exercises and you seem to know them all (or think of new ones on your own).

I more or less consider any carb source that's low in fat a decent "clean" option for refeeds. I usually stay away from gluten, but made an exception. I'm going to add organic honey to my OxyELITE Protein frosting (for gf waffles) as well.
