Purus Labs Build Sixxer up in the off season

Just put some rocks in your pocket.

Bud, send me the email again. I will get it to ya this weekend. I have paperwork to finish tonight and will add it in my pile.

Well I am feeling a lot better then I have been. First few days walking the leg was a little sore at night and first thing in the morning. It felt good today.

I went to the gym about 330 or whenever the Miami vs Florida game ended. I did biceps again. Then did posing practice with a high schools student who is competing in npc teen division in three weeks. He is leaning out nicely. Being a teen I am taking a little easy on his prep. But still pushing him past where he has ever been.

When we started a yr ago he was a 147 lbs kid with 20% bf. now he is 7% at 157lbs and thick. I am proud he has came a long way.

After doing posing I worked triceps and called it a day.

My diet was straight bulk: clean bulk

Breakfast - 1 cup egg whites, 3 slices boars head turkey, 1/4 cup skim cheese, Ezekiel muffin 2 tbls pb and sf jelly plus one cup cocoa pebbles

Meal 2- chicken breast, sf BBQ and 1/8 cup skim cheese, 10 oz red potato with spray olive oil and garlic - photo

Meal -3- Ezekiel muffin and pb and sd jelly 2 scoop iso 100 dpol

Workout- 2 scoops condense - yeah baby it hit me hard and fast.
Intra- workout - endurance BCAA and creatine mono

Post- weight gainer shake - Scivation plus 10g creatine and 1/4 oats

Dinner - salmon broccoli and 1 cup brown rice

Pre bed- 2- cups of cocoa crispies and 3/4 scoop elite casein and 3/4 scoop iso with almond milk

I ve been keepin an eye on your log. Your holding weight. Don't deprive yourself now bc once prep comes it all game on. Clean eating.

Nice eats there. I bet training a teen has advantages... Test levels up so lean gains are easier to come by.

It takes patience bc they have to understand how to eat and train. You have to baby step them. Teach them workouts, train the basics, and re train till they understand. Once they get it down they make progress very fast.

Totally, I have a 12 year old client who is about 200 pounds over weight. We go through the workouts, programming. I've covered diet with him and his mom but I feel like there's only so much I can do seeing him 2 hours a week...

Yeah. It's hard at that age, but five years from now he would greatly understand the social importance of being healthy.

Parents who have kids that obese upset me. At a sooner point along the line you have to step up as a parent and do what's best for the child. I took in a client a while back, she was extremely obese and her kid was following behind at 8 yrs old. I worked with her for a few months during my contest prep and helped her set a healthy base for a diet and shopping for groceries. She was very dedicated and worked hard. But the biggest thing was she was scared of the gym, she hated the way she looked so felt everyone judged her the way she judged herself. I always told her it doesn't matter where you start it matter that you have started. Everyone walks in the gym for a first time, and any true gym goer knows the ego sits at the door. It doesn't matter how you look, how strong you are, you big or small you are, we are all there to achieve the same goal. Look better and feel better. But my point was the biggest things he learned was the grocery shopping. Instead of buying 10 boxes of frozen meals, pizzas, and chips; she started buying fruits, veggi's and whole foods. I don't train her or work with her anymore, but see her from time to time. I see big changes in her and we child. I am so glad for her child that she changed her lifestyle If not her kid would have had an extremely hard time come middle and high school.

It seems I am back on track. Moving the scale up about a lbs the last couple days. Got a great workout today. The boot didn't hold me back. Hit chest hard. I took my condense about 10 min pre workout and it hit right in time. Powered out some bench press, still going easy but getting good contractions.

I was bit behind food wise today. The wife and I went to our first Dr apt for my wife. She is prego finally. We ve been trying for about 2 yrs for another kid. She is 8 weeks along.

It was getting to the point we decided that if no luck by December we would adopt. My wife was really getting frustrated.

About 4 months ago she started using the stick that showed he ovulation. It was pretty helpful.

Today, condense straight up slapped me in my face. It put me in high gear and launched me into a great workout.

Hello peeps. It's been slow this week. Lots of things going on. But plenty to update. As soon as I sit down I will hit you with everything. Right now I am downing my condense getting ready to workout.

How's your calf bro?

Sup purus crowd. Just want to give an update. I am walking in the calve without a boot. I have good days and bad days. It is a very weird pain when it hurts. It feels more bruised on the surface at this point.

I ran out of dpol last week. I really enjoyed the flavoring. I have prior experience with dpol tablets and both the powder and tabs are effective. Love the pumps with dpol and the fact it's more then just a daa product. When shopping for a daa product and doing comparisons, know that dpol is packed with other ingredients such a nitrates and vitamins but really is an excellent product. Thanks purus for the tub, vanilla custard was very good.

I will keep the log going as I still have more condense.

Say tuned.

Glad to hear things are at least a little better with the leg bud.

Hope all is well with you peeps. Got back in town yesterday, we had an awesome weekend. Had 3 competitors showing last weekend and all in all it was a really good weekend. My Body Building teen took Teen Overall and 1st in Mens Open Bantam Weight at 18 years old. Physique guy took 3 rd in Mens Physique tall, but could have gotten 1st. He was just nervous his first time out and really messed up posing. He rushed through them way to fast and didn't show off his genetically gifted body. Dude is stacked. And I had a Bikini girl I have been helping get ready that took 2nd. I was really proud of them they did good.

I got back Sunday and hit the gym. I did a very light "leg day". First time I have squatted or really put any pressure other then body weight on the leg. I stretched for about 20 minutes and only squatted 5 sets of 135. But it felt great. No pain, just my normal tightness. I have just a little pressure by not pain. I have been really stretching it and having it messaged. Once a week my Therapist stretches and pushes on it. The calve has been a bit bruised from being pressed on and stretched but over all its recovering quicker then expected.

My legs are so sore even though I did really light weight all the way around. I dosed my condense pre workout and it was great. I was slacking until it hit me. I then went into over drive and ended up with a good light weight high rep workout. Thanks again purus.

Wow that's awesome that your clients ranked so good at the competition. It seems that your a pretty accomplished trainer. Once the wife and I bite the bullet we will be in contact for sure!

I'm going to use em :)

Budman, The teen I really put a lot of time in. His GF works for my wife at her tanning salon. He came a year ago to me and told me he wanted to learn how to work out. He bought a year membership to the gym but didnt know anything about working out. So we started talking about diet and training. He quickly began to get the hint that you have to eat to grow. The biggest mistake most people make is failing to eat enough to build muscle. It wasnt long before he started carrying peanut butter in his back pack at school and began to pack two weight gainer to have between classes. He was 155 lbs whe we started. He stayed dedicated and realy started working his wheels hard. I mean I would push him till he threw up and he would keep comming back. In June we started his cut which was 14 wks out, he was up to 177lbs. Of course it was not all muscle but his strength nearly doubled . His legs actually began to grow at a great rate. When he hit stage he was 144lbs. Being a teen and his first cut, all natural, I took the opportunity to teach him what his body can do rather then to use supplements to accomplish his goals. I did this because he is young and to teach him that hard work comes first and that supplement will only help if you put the time in. Using supplements I could have kept more size on him and cut him up more for stage, however, I knew where he was would take the teen division for sure and probably take the Bantam weight, but if not he would at least get the stage time in. We also worked on his posing over and over and over. He did outstanding posing. I will get a couple pics up here of him in a second

Mens Physique- This dude is just naturally gifted. His shoulder width to waist size is insaine. Photos do not show how good he looks, his abs are kinda blended in the back ground.

That's some hard work... Congrats man.

I was never taught how to train properly, that's why I live on the forums.

The good thing about the forums is you get to see what works for others. It's also it own little community. I have fun on here.
