Article: Energy Drink Makers In Front Of Congress

Because 99% of children 18 and under do not care for coffee at all.

When will our government stop telling us what we can and cannot do? Every single consumer drinks a RedBull because he or she WANTS to drink a RedBull. Nuff said. If you are gonna try to block that freedom then you might as well throw in beer and cigs while your at it. See if that works..
 
I'm a pretty liberal guy. In fact, I love government regulation, and if you were to label me with a title I fall under a liberal socialist-

Yeah, and it never works at altering consumer behavior. Thats where the flaw is at. I guess if u stand for regulations then fine. But just know that it doesnt stop people from doing, smoking, drinking or eating what they want. At the end of the day, it only "labels" people as either law-abiding or law-breaking, yet if I can justify doing something it will always transcend what capital hill may think of it.

So kids will drink whatever they want and whatever their parents allow. Putting restrictions on RB and other energy drinks will not stop that. The brand name has made its impact now and it is too late to reverse the behavior.

You are the first socialist I have ever met that was willing to connect government regulation to liberal socialism. I admire your honesty to call it like it is.
