Clen at 45 years old?

Hey Guys,

Been PH/Steriod free all my life.
Been training for many years with natty supps and am quite healthy.
I am at about 12% bodyfat and have been considering trying a mild cycle of Clen (start at 20mcg and work upto 40mcg and for 14 days).

Do you think there is any risk at 45 years old that is not present at younger ages?
Using less will probably be less effective, but I would like to keep it mild to negate side effects - short term and long term. What do you think?
How hard is this on your heart doing it a few times a year?

I can't see any issues that would be related to age. I would however run albuterol instead of Clen. Two weeks isn't going to do a great deal either, I would run it for a month or more cycling week on week off to refresh your beta 2 receptors.

I would go with a higher dose, I'm just finishing my second 2week cycle of clen and I've lost 13pounds on a moderately clean diet

Every try Raspberry Ketones?. They work well for me. How about any thyroid stimulating products?. I haven't used S.N.S. Thyrocaps, but have used similar products in the past that worked great for fat loss. You might want to try something more natural first. Maybe stack Invalid Link Removed with Invalid Link Removed. Invalid Link Removed may also be helpful...I know this is the steroid section, but just thought you might be interested in alternatives that may be healthier and have less risk of side effects.

Not having to worry about crazy side effects, and actually being able to sleep would be my reason for not using it. In my personal opinion the risks far outweigh the benefits.

I got no bad side effects and went up to 120mcg only sides I got were shaky hands but I enjoyed that lol, but people react different to certain substances.

So how do you know if you got necrosis of the heart? By how you feel? That's the one side that scares the **** outta me, my vanity killing the cells of my heart. No thanks. There are equally effective alternatives out there without the associated risks.

Hi Luke,
I see that albuterol has a shorter 1/2 life than Clen.
Is it cleaner or something. Why do recommend it?

Under a 1 week on, 1 week off regime for a month, what dosage would you recommend?
And I guess this is taken by inhaler only, right?

Not being able to sleep and heart issues down the line are enough for me to swear the stuff off. I blame the majority of my heart issue on clen (and probably ephedrine stacks as well). Never again for me, wish I never used the stuff.

Well clen is banned in most countries due to the potential severe side effects. Albuterol on the other hand is still commonly prescribed to asthmatics. You can get it in oral tablets or a liquid which you ingest. You have to dose it every 4-5 hours due to its short half life. You will get some side effects from it like the shakes, and muscle cramps ( albuterol depletes muscles o taurine causing muscle cramps ) supplementing taurine can alleviate these. I would start at 12 - 18mg daily split into three doses.

Thanks Luke. One more thing....Would the side effects be similar to ephedrine - or milder or heavier?

Yep, I won't go near it...Although I did run Ephedrine HCL/Y-HHL/Caffeine stack years ago. That only effected me or I "felt it" for around 2 to at most 3 hours...Clen on the other hand has something like a 34 hour half life?...Plus you have to take benadryl just to get to sleep....No thanks!......I just don't like taking one thing to get me going and then having to take something else to allow me to sleep. Or in another sense, taking one pill to stop the side effects from a different pill.... To each their own, but that is just how I feel. I'd rather run something OTC that is safer and has little to none side effects.

I'm not sure man I haven't really looked into ephedrine too much.

Ephedrine gets me wired up worse than clen...especially if its stacked with yohimbe caffeine and aspirin. clen would make my heart beat faster than ephedrine though. Everybody is different of course and stimulants will have very different effects from person to person.
