First time in the Rage X single ply. Took 365 to my chest. I don't hate myself anymore. 375 to a 2-board but failed an inch before lockout. The groove of the shirt didnt feel weird one bit and the bar flew off my chest. I think once I get the sleeves pulled up a bit further that should help more. I was able to get the elbow flare easily too

I pulled 540 (+sled) for 60'. And hate myself way more after. Weird.

Some big festival in the harbor I work in this weekend. We had to race a mile against the FD and PD in these 10-man seine boats (row boats) Then was out on the water watchin drunk people until 45 min ago.

Worst mile of my life. That row made me hate myself.

It was 2 different types of pulls with it for 30' each.

Which is less awesome, but equally awful.

yup. made it right in our boat house.

spare tire and made a bridle run through it with small stuff. got a pole drilled into it using the mount of an old 47' HF annetenna mount, then grabbed a mooring line and hooked it up to the bridle. stack weights onto the pole

I remembered all my bench cues. Hard to drive into the floor because of the low bench though. Remembered deep breath just like I do when I squat. Tight back. Ride the lats down. Turns hands out to flare triceps. **** yeah. Despite having a longass day at work, no dinner, crap diet, and 9pm, I felt strong.

Unfortunetly no. 335 is on video. 365 my phone fell off the dip station I had it resting on and 385 I just didnt bother.

Was looking forward to critique. Planning on doing some rep PRs on Wednesday so I'll make sure the video works then.

After my heavy double in briefs, the first thing I said was "I taste blood." I know the feeling, broseph.

If 365 was easy, you now have a good opener. Let's see 1600 at the meet!

So...wasnt bad raw again. Especially first time raw sumo. I'll load up vids later.

Wondering if I should acquire new maxes next week raw or just use my maxes from before I went equipped.

So on my sumo..first sets my hips were a bit further away from the bar..finally tried pushin them closer to the bar..some reps each leg locked out differently-I think subconsciously because if my hands riding up my quads...how is everything else? critique?

Did the closer hips feel better? Everything looked kosher, I'd wait until the big sumo pullers weigh in.

Agreed with Doja here...sumo looks solid. Keep working to find the groove that feels right.
 
Thanks guys. Only other time I pulled them raw was maybe 225 a couple times just ****ing around.

Me too raw modern this time around only started using real wraps correctly about 4 weeks ago. My old ones were nothing more than an ace bandage. Ill definitely post up the results I'm in the Sunday flights. You've got a nice long run to build up for this meet you'll smash those numbers.

Thanks man. I need to read up on RPS's rules tonight. Been a while. The wraps help a ton, I love my APT wraps. Good luck Sunday. Kill it.
 
I'm looking for meets around that time as well. Didn't see any on Plwatch yet, but I check every week or so to see if I missed something.
 
Third rep looked the best as the others looked like your shoulders went forward and you pulled with your lower back.

It's even more important for sumo as you want essentially zero erector involvement in pulling the weight up.
 
Sorry...meant benching today. First raw flat bench session in a long time and something just felt like it clicked with form.
