Swanson-Cube Method to July Comp

damnnnn good job

Thoughts? I think it's going well, the higher fat/calories have me feeling pretty good, and I'm still dropping weight day to day.

I know what my stupid ass thinks, just wondering.

Looks good. That's hard work keeping those nums consistently

I'm pretty good when I put my mind to it. While my physique belies it, I make good food choices, I'm just prone to eat A LOT.

I can eat the same. ****. Every. Day.

My family cringes at how monotonous my diet is. You can't argue with results though. Looks like you have come to this realization as well big man.

Just playing bubba and I am always in that thought pattern.

haha I know I know..I had that sucker in the microwave too..my prob is that I use a half bottle of BBQ sauce to make them lol

I dunno how you and Swanson do it..I'm doing low carb tomorrow..won't be near as low as you two

I find that the more you eat carbs the more you crave them. Once you have been without them on a regular basis the urge fades. Love my fats though.

Whole free range eggs, habanero BBQ almonds, almond butter, walnuts, and of course protein sources

I've watched that before...WTF

Omg lol

Ultimate exercise. Abdominal incline shoulder front raise with straps lol

You guise r dyks.

Went to hop in my commuter Honda to head to gym...dead battery. F.ck you, Friday.

Mom and Dad both drive hooptys here and the boy drives the nice ride at school.

Yep. Oldest son has a '12 Ford Focus to take to college. I've got a '94 accord and an '83 GMC Jimmy. Figures.

They build the focus about 2 miles from my house. Very nice little car...

Inexpensive as well. Figured I'd rather make a tiny car pmt than have to send him gas money daily, pay repair bills, or go pick him up when he's stranded somewhere.

In 5 years, however...not my problem. :D

Ours are paid off and his will be soon. All of them are gas misers...keeps the fixed expenses lower.

I generally love my Honda...replaced pads/rotors at all 4 corners and a CV shaft for about $98 a couple weeks ago. New tires were $250 for 4, mounted, balanced & road hazard Michelins.

Yes, I'm a TIGHT ASS.

For sure! My wife's is financed, but she manages to negotiate a car allowance or mileage into her salary, so it gets offset.

Mine? Pay cash. Always.

Just surfing, waiting for battery to charge...ughhhhh. Wasted pre-workout.

Hah...always got viruses when on that site.

Good God, day 3 of terrible DOMS from squatting. I feel like a newbie to the weights. I should have bought these oly shoes a long time ago.

I think I was thinking of this because Chive makes me think of ass, and my ass hurts.

Should've just waited til tomorrow since my day has been a disaster. But I didn't. And now I'm mad.

Warm up

E SQUATS
285x3x8

REVERSE BAND SQUAT
405x2 w/light band

Oly squat 5x5
Leg press 3x15
Leg curl 3x12
KB swings 3x12

Everything felt ultra heavy, I tried out a different gym because it was close & I was pressed and the atmosphere sucked...my head was NOT in today's session.

Men onstage posing in front of other men in their underwear...

I know, right? Just the way they train, the **** they talk about, the attire...the whole thing baffles me.

I'm sure they feel the same way about us. I even got the ol "oh, you must be a powerlifter"...likely because I'm fat. ;)

But the owner did point out their collection of bands, the fact that the DBs went to 175, and the mobility station so at least he understands. :D

I'm lying here pondering how much a bench shirt would add.

If I can go to 495 with a SlingShot...oh the possibilities.

To each their own. Gotta give it to em on discipline though.

I've always lifted for fitness and that's it. But I'm really getting into this whole powerlifting thing and will probably compete by the close of this year. I have good strength and with proper training I believe I can do great things

Very jealous of that range in DBs!
