The concentrations look pretty damn stable on the topicals to me over a 24 hour period (last time I tested at 687 18-20 hours post application). Just apply half in the morning, half at night...then you are 100% certain you have steady test levels. That is one major positive of the topicals like androgel or axiron etc....no real major dips.
Are you on 2 pumps as well? Splitting the dose sounds like a good idea thanks for the info. When you were tested did you have your blood draw before your next application and also have u had it tested about 2 hours after application?
There so much different information out there regarding how well people do with it. Some hate it and some like it. A few of my buddies told me to just ask for the injection and dump the gels.
Also as far as application. Can I apply it to my shoulders and upper chest instead? How do you use it successfully? I went to do it and I mentioned it to another guy and he told me to stop and only put it under my arms because his doctor told him that it was only designed for that use. I tried to explain that we have more androgen receptors in our upper chest and shoulders and that is why I opted for that use but in the mean time I went back to under arm only...
What are your thoughts based on ur use and blood work?
I appreciate your time. Thanks man.
yeah the hell with underarm application, I always us traps/delts/upper chest and neck area for 2 of the pumps in the morning, and 2 at night. I use 2 in the groin area in the morning also, and 2 on my upper and lower arms on each side at night. I want to hit groin only once, and shoulders twice....arms are just another place to apply that should work well. But that is on 8 pumps of androgel, so 80mg? I believe androgel is 10g at 1%? But I have found I can get 10-11 pumps per day on the average, even 12 for a "cycle" of 1-2 months. They fill it every 23 days (out of thirty, so there is 50 plus extra pumps right there) and these pumps have a LOT extra in them believe me. So I've been doing 6 pumps morning and 6 at night. I will probably tone it down to 5/5 or 6/5 since at 12 per day I feel eventually It will catch up with me and I'll be short.
maybe switch to androgel? that way you can more easily apply where you want to apply. But yeah, even on axiron I'd do one morning and one night. As far as my test result, that was 18-20 hours POST application....essentially 24 hours after. I applied when i got home later in the morning actually, after the testing. If my insurance didn't charge me less than $10 for the androgel? I'd have to switch to a compounded cream or test cyp injections. For now? my insurance covers it. I like the fact I can apply where I want and get what type conversion I want....I like the constant steady stable blood levels....its a PITA to apply twice a day yes, and it can be expensive for some....but there are pro's and con's to both methods. If the gel gets you to where you want to be? and your insurance covers it? then why not use it. Better than injections in my estimations since I don't believe in sticking foreign objects into myself unless its absolutely necessary. I am using 300mg deca a week right now for instance....so its a necessary evil to inject 3X per week. Everybody has their own opinion though.
Awesome! Thanks for the info. These are my thoughts as well. I want to find were my dose needs to be so I have a starting stable point to play with. Then from there I can add other things. Like Tren E and deca and not have to also pin my test.
This may be a dumb question but when u get tested by your doctor I'm assuming u stop all other gear correct? Do androgens in general pop up as testosterone on a blood test? So if I was taking my test gel and 250mg/ week Tren Enanthenate. I should stop the Tren and let it wash out for about 12-14 days before I go to get my test level checked correct? Or can I continue to run because even though its an exogenous androgen it's not testosterone.
