Arms and cardio today. Not much new to update on. My arms are getting a ridiculous amount of veins in them (which is pretty bad ass lol) I've never been super vascular but everyday I can tell a little difference in my arms and yesterday I even some running through my delts. Scale hasn't budged....not a single pound though. Not super worried about it just surprised.

Solid volume and intensity big man. Don't sweat the scale, it means nothing. If the shoulders on the shirts are fitting tighter and the waist is getting more loose, you're moving the right direction.

Thanks man. The scale doesn't really mean much to me I just step on it out of curiosity mostly lol. Just surprised that it really hasn't budged for the last 5 or 6 weeks.

seems like we may be in recomp mode, just a little higher gear..veins are a good sign :)

Did the scale move a lot initially?

When I first decided to change my sh1tty eating habits and life style I went from like 250 to 230 ish pretty quick. But I've been between 210-220 now for probably 16 (ish) months I'd say.

When I started this adventure, and during my PXB log, I dropped a significant amount of weight right off the bat. Since then my weight has pretty much stayed the same +/- a couple of lbs. I got frustrated at first, but then I saw the progress through pics. Don't let the weight thing stress you out. You're probably doing the recomp thing like snags said. 2250 cals is not a whole lot, but if you're building muscle because those cals are quality and you're synthesizing protein at a good rate, then it's a possibility. If you're seeing new veins, that's a good sign that you're leaning out. I'd say you're on a good track.

Thanks bean! I'm excited for the next couple weeks but am craving a cheat day or meal like no other! I get so excited when I get to drink my shake before bed because it taste like chocolate haha sad I know but nothing I can't handle. I got goals to beat!

Dude breakfast foods are my weakness lol waffles,pancakes, French toast all have a special place in my heart lol I've been craving all 3 since Saturday haha. And pizza, ice cream and chicken wings. My next cheat meal isn't until after the first week of June and I've already told the wife I'm hitting a Buffett somewhere to knock out all cravings in one meal lol

same here man. I could eat my weight in breakfast sweets. Pizza and wings hold no attachment for me though, for some reason. I'm just horrible with baked goods.

Ha man I hope your right. I drive by Taco Bell everyday and tell myself "you don't want that. That's gross and it'll make you fat" but then the little devil on the other shoulder says "What? Of course you want that, you fuggin moron that sh1ts delicious" it's a constant battle at this point lol. Not to mention I have to stare at a vending machine full of candy bars 8 hours a day at work! That's will power in my mind haha

She called me up last night and told me she made Fried chicken and pepper steak and had chocolate turtle cheesecake left overs and wanted to know if I wanted her to bring it over. I was like WTF mom!!! Hell no keep that away from my house lol

Granted it started off with 3 pancakes 4 pcs of French toast 3 pcs of reg bacon and 2 reg sausage pattys for breakfast and only got worse from threre. im gonna try and not go so over board again haha.

Definitely agree... I love sweets, especially crappy candy at munchies time, but HATE the next day....

Yeah Mexican food is probably my biggest weakness ... every cheat meal involves nachos of some sort

What's your diet layout like Dan? You said Oatmeal cant fit into your macros. I think my diet is all jacked up because I consider stuff like this to not be a cheat food.

I don't really consider it as cheat food. As of right now though it doesn't fit since 1/2 cup has like 45 carbs, and right now I'm only allowed 90 a day which I usually save for quinoa, grapefruit, a slice of Ezekiel bread and sweet potatoes + the small amount of carbs from my shakes (2 at most a day) and almond butter. 90 carbs goes fast lol

Haha def. don't get all that each day. I usually swap carb sources around. Quinoa sweet potatoes grapefruit one day quinoa Ezekiel bread grape fruit the next ect. No real pattern just whichever sounds good for the day. The only constant that I have everyday is the quinoa and most days sweet potatoes.
