Tbh, I like the city and the state. It's beautiful up here, with the exception of bits and pieces. The people are a little too liberal for me, at times, but I can shrug that off. It's the sixth "fittest" city in the nation, so there's a gym everywhere you look. The rain is just that, rain. The weather is pretty mild year around and it doesn't get much hotter than 85 degrees which is a welcome change from the 120+ crap I've dealt with all too often over the past decade+. Driving here is absolutely HORRIFIC, and I dread my evening commute. Couple that with poorly maintained roads and a case of road rage and I'm like a timebomb in a VW.
There are jobs here, and a ton of them at that. There's so much money in this area. I could see myself retiring and starting a new career here for that reason. There's always good with the bad, but I'd say this place is mostly good. If you haven't been up here, June-August is the time to visit. Catch a Mariner game, ride the big wheel, hop on a ferry and go get some pizza at Pegasus on Alki beach.

Sounds like a trip for next summer. I've been there before and loved the fish market, the space needle, and the weather was kind in comparison to the desert :)

Definitely increased endurance. I'll update about LA buffering tomorrow and whether or not DOMS sets in. As far as today, I'd expect some DOMS from yesterday with all of the running, but I have none.

Busy weekend of softball and birthday parties.

Quick chest session this morning. Nothing that I want to note as far as the workout goes. I got to the gym extremely late this morning. So, Saturday night I tried my first dose of G8 by Finaflex. I took the recommended 1/2 scoop. Still a little too much for this dude. I slept for ten hours, and I never do that. Took slightly less last night and still overslept a bit. Woke up feeling amazing though. Will go down to 1/4 scoop tonight.

Kept weight lower today for shortened rest periods and focused on contractions. Forearm pump was ridiculous and grip became harder to maintain but forearms were SWOLLEN. Max Pump is a god damn great supplement.

I was a huge fan of max pump as well. I still hav an unopened bottle sitting in the stash waiting to get used. Solid back day man and I hear on the forearm pumps. Sometimes I have to revert back to straps just to get my last set done.

Well, welcome back. That monster burger was amazing and the avocado made it that much better. Like I thought, though, the service blew ass. You're not such a bad dude yourself and your family was awesome. I think I just surpassed 196 with lunch, by the way.

Anyway, active rest day today. Hooped it up with some buddies. Sad to report that I aggravated the hammie again. Not so bad this time but it was definitely talking to me. Meh, guess I'll just have to deal with it.
