logging Formutech's Volatile Preworkout - FUBARMD

LOVE the 10x10 on squats, dude, I've been doing that as a second leg day on saturdays. Just did 225 this past weekend, my legs are STILL sore!

Keep those SLDLs man, do them right and your ass and hammies will be screaming! If youre not feeling it, go deeper

Obviously that's what she said lol

Will do! So deeper until you feel the stretch in the Hamstrings?

exactly! go low and go nice and slow, can go faster on the way back up. On the way back up squeeze your glutes like youre trying not to deuce your shorts.

Woke up a little sore but my hamstrings are tight this morning haha. Did something well yesterday. As soon as I get back to my dads place I will do a good cardio session or gym session. Split decision on either. Have to credit volatile for the lack of intense soreness after a 10x10 leg day!

Took .75 scoops of Volatile about 15 minutes before my cardio session. Damn. My cardio went to sh*t in less then a month off. Being the cocky b*stard I am, started off the treadmill at 8mph with the intentions of running for at least 10 minutes. Oh boy was I wrong. Sucking wind at about the 1/2 mile mark and slowed it down to 7mph. Got the 10 minutes in though. Did a small AB circuit to cool off a little with DB leg lifts (15x15/25lb) and DB in/outs (same weight). My heart was beating way out of my chest. Manned up a little and did 5 minutes on the Jacob's Ladder machine. I absolutely love this machine (look it up if you haven't heard of it) its a hybrid of a stair climber and rock climbing. It kicks my @$$ every time (Burns like 16-20cals/min)

got home and noticed deep striations in my deltoids and crisper tricep "horseshoe". My obliques were popping too. Also beginning to get defined separation on my quads. as the day went on, soreness became less and less.

Need to step up my game with cardio...the last month off from it hasn't helped my case. Goal of 2 miles @ 7.5-8 mph on treadmill and 10 minutes on the Jacobs Ladder by end of month

Hate to say told ya so....

No I don't hate it. I lied lol

Yeah I feel you on the cardio. First run since last fall was a few weeks ago. Total embarrassment. Lol

Chest and back GVT. Took about 35-40 minutes with about a min rest. Could definitely bump rest down to :45 or increase reps next time. Took volatile at 7:45 gym shortly after.

Superset:
10x12 40lb DB bench press
10x10 assisted pull-ups (-40lbs) @ 145lb(weighed this morning)
-last sets were double burnouts
3x14 cable flyes @ 22.5lb/arm stretch at bottom
3x14 sitting row @ 90lbs hold at top

Felt pretty good. Again, less volume then last chest/back workouts but got a great pump on both regions.

Awesome. Wait till you take 2 scoops Endurance. Your rest time will be under 20 secs lol.

with 3 scoops I actually do 2 sets at the same time

Cardio this morning. 1/2 scoop volatile and a glass of milk for breakfast. I lasted longer on the Jacobs Ladder this morning but definitely feeling glycogen deprived. Went 15 minutes on the Jacobs ladder (10 min then 5 min) at 210 calories. Heart rate was up to 170+.
Today and tomorrow will be fat/Carb heavy to replete everything.

I hope the Volatile wasn't mixed with the milk LOL.

Lol I would never drink milk before lifting anyway. Has a way of coming up. Sorry for not being around last couple days I'm out of town for work

I avoid it with cardio usually but gave into having a glass.

Trying out a hybrid GVT routine

Arms and shoulders today
5 sets supersetted @ 10 reps each

Superset 1:
A) DB hammer curls 30/25/25/25/25
B) EZ bar curls with band 52.5/52.5/52.5/42.5/42.5
----band probably added 10-15 lbs resistance on top of listed weight
----bar was larger EZ bar ~22.5lbs

Superset 2:
A) Close grip Bench 80/95/95/95/80
B) EZ bar skullcrushers 42.5/52.5/52.5/52.5/52.5
----22.5 lb bar

Superset 3: 4 sets 10 reps each
A) BB Landmine shoulder press +25/+30/+25/+25
B) DB lateral raise 10/10/10/10
C) DB bent rear deltoid fly 15/15/15/15
----exercise A props a BB into a grounded device that allows it to pivot, thus determining the weight lifted at a pivoted angle is ??? So I just listed the 25lb plate added to the bar

Low volume, high intensity workout!

took volatile at 8:00 after dropping off my Dads Nissan GTR for an inspection. Definitely need to bump up to 1.5 scoops. Slight tolerance kicking in from using it 5x/week but the pump remains! Everything else is perfect! I think I like this workout better then my original plans of a simple GVT. I function better with supersets then waiting around to rest for the next set. I believe I am about near halfway through the tub :/

Nothing besides the PWO. That's the only caffeine source. I thought it was dehydration but I drink water all throughout the day

How's your electrolyte intake? You won't be able to hydrate cells without proper salt balance

Had a much better cardio session today. Ate oatmeal at 8:20 .75 scoop Volatile at 8:45 and gym by 9:20. That might have been the issue of training from a near fasted state. Ugh so glad it may have been that easy of a change.

I don't know if its the Volatile but I am now sweating like a monster now in the gym with cardio sessions...like drenched t-shirts, socks and shorts. I don't remember ever sweating like this, even with more challenging cardio sessions lol.

Today I pushed out 1.5miles @ 7mph (172 calories), small AB circuit then 10 mins level 10 interval on the elliptical (110 calories). Better endurance then just 2 days ago.

Might do a huge pyramid circuit later with my sister (trying to get her to do DL/squats etc). Would look like

deadlift
Stiff-leg DL
Bent row
High pull
Clean
Front squat
Thruster
Shoulder press
Squat
Hack squat

With this I would do a DL. Stop. DL then stiff-leg DL. Stop. And so on down the line until at bottom. Then potentiay reverse it from bottom.

I noticed I still get the BA tingles, even at .5-.75 scoops.

Volatile definitely got me outta bed today at 6:30. Did a quick barbell circuit this morning. Consisted of 1 --> 5 Rep pyramid down list superset

Deadlift
Stiff-leg DL
Bent row
High pull
Clean
front squat
Push press
squat
Hack squat

Did this with 65lb. Got my HR up good and quick. Finished with 5 min on the Jacobs Ladder (65-70ft/min)

Watched the crossfire games female competition yesterday on ESPN 2. Impressed me how athletic some were...especially at my weight (140's) and shorter then me! Makes me wanna bulk up to at least 155 :/

Birthday today started it out with a
Chest and back day. Got blood drawn before working out due to higher LFTs (not on any cycle) that's been going on for about 4 months. Took volatile afterwards to avoid any sketchy bloods (even though I know they will remain elevated)

5 set superset
-DB bench press 45lb x 15/15/12/10/10
-Cable flyes 22.5lb/arm x 14/14/12/10/10

5 set superset
-assisted pullups (-40lb) x 12/10/10/10/10
-seated row 80*/90lb x 16*/14/14/14/12

3 set superset
-incline Bench 85lbs x 14/12/12
-high cable row 22.5lb x 14/14/12

3 set superset
-machine bent rows 55lb x 14/14/14
-inverted rows BW(146lb) x 14/12/12

Solid pump today. Will vary chosen chest exercises each week. Going for high time under tension and :60 rest with it.

At 146lb this is not only my heaviest I have been but also the leanest appearance wise! Freaking amazing.

Nothing better than being at your heaviest and leanest at the same time. Awesome work.

Happy birthday bud!

Happy Birthday fellow Volatile logger! Man you are doing some good amount of weight for how many reps you do. I wish I had that endurance!

I am definitely recovering better between sets. Agmatine isn't only good for pumps but a ton of other things too. Volatile propelled me through the workout with ease

Cardio this morning .75 scoops volatile and off to the gym. Did 12 min elliptical @ lvl 10 hills, calf-raises, treadmill @7mph for 1.5mi then 6%incline @ 3.8mph for .25 miles. Mixed it up with some battle rope sprints :15/45 on/off. Was going to do some Med ball slams but I will save some in the tank for leg day tomorrow!

Getting compliments lately for my physique and loving it. Easy motivation right there.

Been busy packing up for grad school along with all the shopping for supplies that comes with it.
