I used a heaping scoop on Enhanced about 30 minutes before my flight started for squat. I woke up really early and had already eaten twice by the time the meet started, so I didn't eat until after bench when we had a lunch break. I did sip on 10g BCAA/50g Karbolyn throughout squat and bench, though.

This is actually similar to how mine went other than me not eating anything before. :o

True enough, but Monster has there extreme versions as well. I'm a fan of both. I drink the lo-carb Monster and the white Rockstar daily!

This actually was the protocol I had in mind for him^^ with the bottle of pre-mixed Enhanced for when he starts to drag later on. I am going to try and get a bowl of oats/whey in him before we leave for the meet.

For my meet I took a scoop of Enhanced the flight before both my bench and deadlift. The bench was in the morning and I'm not a morning person and I was drained by my time on the deadlift.

A lot more volume this session. I'm finally off after working the past 10 straight days including overnight 3 nights so I took advantage of my time

My shoulder is 10000x better. ZERO pain or discomfort. Maybe because Mark Bell was saying to me "**** your shoulder" in my head.

Pendlay rows were executed parallel and explosive off the floor each rep. I stopped each set for a second around rep 6-8 to swallow regurgitated pizza.

You've gotten a lot better at the Klokovs. I keep worrying about how much they hurt. I should just do them. Can you tell what they're carrying over to?

They don't hurt me. I'm quite comfortable with them now. The only carry over I can tell is just shoulder strength if anything. This is the first time in a very very long time that I've had zero shoulder irritation and that's stayed consistent the last 2 weeks

Possibly because my arms are already starting higher than the shoulder itself so there's no irritation involved. But even doing every day things or other exercises-I've had no issues. So maybe that along with all the prehab and mobility
 
Haven't done a BTN snatch press (Klokov...) press in forever, used to exclusively due behind the neck normal and snatch grip pressing. Will do tomorrow.
 
Max DL, Hardcore, HD Blast and suit slippers. Have briefs and a metal squat suit at my gym i can wear in my size

Very smart to get the slippers. They make a world of difference and take out about half of the effort needed to get the gear in place.

They also don't make you the guy carrying grocery bags to the gym and the meet. I wish I had bought suit slippers with my suit.

I tried a double ply hardcore on without the slippers and it was a miserable/tiring 15 minutes, even with help. Suit slippers and a few couple pounds less and I should fit into it a bit easier.

Imagine having a pair of double ply briefs underneath that. Part of the reason I can't break parallel until I hit ~600 is that I can't move the suit up further by hand.

Good god lol. I had a couple inches to go to get it into my crotch. I'll be sticking with single ply for now. Maybe after the usapl meet ill shell out for some more gear. I might try them out next Thursday straps down with my squat and get a game plan together. Have you looked over Lilly's shirted bench template in his book?

I just saw that the Massachusetts state squat record, raw, in the 220 class is 551. Why the **** didn't I remember to look this up before my meet. Why didn't I take a 4th attempt. Why didn't I just squat more than 550.

Same thing almost happened to my buddy in his first meet recently. It was RPS and he went and decided out of curiosity to see what the bench record was and realized he had it in the tank, but if he didn't ask he wouldn't have known.

That sucks man. Now you can go back and kill that record.

I can't afford to get bigger. Had to drop a few hundred bucks on new uniforms because they were too small now and body armor couldn't fit under them lol Not buyin more uniforms again

On a happier note, I acquired a 1, 2, and 3-Board from my basement.

EliteFTS is having a 50% sale on straps. Idk if I need to spend money but I have to buy some new med balls for work so might toss some in on the order if anyone in here thinks any are worth it. Maybe even just for overload or down the road but I am a sucker for EliteFTS sales. :o

Relatively narrow stance for squat if that matters and any wrist wraps suggestions would be appreciated as well.

I would get the ones that have thick stripes black/white/black. They're a bit more soft and have more of a stretch to them. My heavy knee wraps are stiff as ****.

I like the longer wrist wraps. Lemme find links

Edit: I'd go with the normal knee wraps (orange) I personally prefer 2.5M so I can cross wrap and not struggle to tie off or slip it under a turn. I know herder has some 2M and Rodja 2.5 I believe.

That's correct, I use 2m knee wraps and I went hog wild and got the 36in wrist wraps. I like shorter knee wraps because it takes less time and effort to wrap them. I wouldn't mind seeing what a longer wrap is like, though. I like my stretchy wrist wraps, I just feel like I can get them tighter. Be sure to check with your fed on the required maximum length of your wraps. For instance, I believe you are no longer raw in the IPA if your wrist wraps are over 60cm.
 
Ya I will have to check some regulations and I have some wrist wraps but they are long and cast me up almost too well. I may grab some lighter wrist wraps for training purposes at least.
