"Knee wraps: must not exceed 3.5 meter length or 3 inches width. Elasticized knee cap may be worn. a combination of the two is forbidden. When the knees are wrapped the wraps cannot extend beyond 5.9 inches above the center of the knee joint or 5.9 inches below the center of the knee joint for a total of 11.81 inches. The fabric material shall be an elastic weave primarily consisting of polyester, cotton, or medical crepe singly or in combination. "

Taken from the current APA rulebook. I'm assuming my ATP wraps are not compliant then because of the rubber strand? Thoughts? I've emailed the meet director but unsure if ill get a response in time.

What's posted above is all was written for wraps under equipment specs. Nothing for approved equipment. Internet search produced nothing concrete. Meet director hasn't returned my email nor approved my admission to the online forum. I have two different Elites on hand in case they say my Izner or APT are no good.

Kinda unreliable, but see if you can find some APA meet videos and look for what kind of knee wraps they use.

Good thinking. I remember someone wearing black/red like my Izner's in one video. I found a FB page for the meet with one person on there attending. I may be a creep and message him. I'd like the Izner's and APT to be good so I can wrap myself as I'm good at it now. The Elite's will need to be wrapped by someone. I've worn each wrap and know the feel and how to wrap each individual one, but I do have my favorites.

I'll go through some more videos tomorrow and see what else comes up.

I'm almost 100% sure that the Inzer Z Wraps would be ok.

Love my Z wrap wrist wraps. I went overkill with 36". I feel like the rebound would be killer from those. I emailed the guy from ATP and gave him my stats and wrap experience. He told me to go with the blue arrows. Is that what you're using Sean? And Rodja, what wraps are you using these days?

Yeah, the Z's really stretch. When I crank down on them, it's game over. Lamonster got some wrist wraps from Elite, they're legit. Barely any stretch, more what I think I'd want in a wrist wrap. Only issue I have with those is that you can't overstretch the wrap and lock it in as much. I'll have to think about which one I really want.

The Elites need to be pre-stretched when you roll them up before you wrap, and definety need someone doing it for you.

Majority of the videos I've found were of guys wearing black and reds, I'm assuming Izner Z's. No more worries here. Also looks like they're slightly lenient on squat depth.
