Here's a recent pic from this afternoon.. I haven't worked bis since Thursday and I just realized I shrunk a little.. Haha.. That's the plan, I'm able to put mass on with Versa 1, now I'm trying to come down on Versa 1

So many things going on right now, but today, i can sit here and update this bad boy finally.. been a while since i last posted a review or even my workout regimen for the day..





Back to the basics for me...

Currently im still debating whether or not i wanted to bulk up again after the first two bottles, or try and cut down a little.. Honestly, i think ill just try and maintain what I have now.. haha.. Over the past couple of months, i have put on quality size and went from a XL shirt to fitting a XXL shirt with ease. I have not been able to do that in a while and I was a little shocked that I have ballooned up so fast.. (ballooned up in a good way though).. My strength is unreal, my recovery is better and my drive has grown...



Heres my Chest Workout today...





Incline Barbell Press (HEAVY)

Warm ups-

225 lbs for 2 sets of 20

Set 1&2

315 lbs for 12 reps

Set 3&4

405 lbs for 8 reps

Set 5&6

225 lbs for 20 reps



Now for those of you who been following me, know that I dont like to mess with light weights... This is a good example of the results that Versa 1 has delivered.. 405 at 8 reps has not been so easy like this..





Dumbbell Flyes (HEAVY)

50 lbs for 20 reps

70 lbs for 16 reps

90 lbs for 12 reps

110 lbs for 10 reps

125 lbs for 8 reps

50 lbs for 20 reps



My gyms dbs dont go beyond 125, and thats why like to do high reps with heavy weights. the pull on the negatives is the type of pain I like to feel on chest days.. you dont get wide doing half ass reps.. and unlike most people that I know who train where I do, i never push the weight as if im doing a regular press.. my arms are wide and I pull that weight to get that squeeze you should always be feeling...





Shoulder Width Bench Press

225 lbs for 15 reps

315 lbs for 12 reps

385 lbs for 10 reps

315 lbs for 12 reps

225 lbs for 15 reps



I know this is a weird pyramid set, but with this weight, I was able to maxmimize every set.. My blood was pumping throughout my body as if i was about to explode, and my focus and determination was through the roof, so honestly this was a fairly easy set.





DB Pullovers Superset with 30 Pushups

100 lbs for 12 reps

110 lbs for 12 reps

115 lbs for 10 reps

120 lbs for 8 reps

125 lbs for 8 reps

In Between each set I did 30 straight push ups just to keep the blood flowing and the chest bulging.. hahaha...



Pull overs I think is one of the more underrated movements. I rarely see guys at my gym ever utilize this exercise. I love the fact this adds a little mass to my chest.. the stretch alone feels good to me, and i love the after effects once im doing the pushups..





Bodyweight Dips

5 sets of 25



I was pressed for time, but i managed to sueeze this in.. This is hands down not my favorite workout since I have elbow issues, but i push through this anyway..





For cardio, I normally do bike workouts, but today actually I ran for about 15 minutes on a treadmill as my cool down..





Post Workout

65 Grams of Pro5 Protein mixed with 10 grams of Carbs

All my meals today consisted of sirloin steak mixed with white potatoes and broccoli.. Im debating whether or not I want to start Carb backloading, but we'll see how I feel.. I love my potatoes.. haha



I normally consume about 400 grams of protein a day and about 2500-4000 calories a day depending if I have time to eat or not...
 
the Hulk is back! It sounds like you've been making some serious progress lately.
 
Made it back to the gym today.. Forgot the reason why I don't train late.. Too many little bois thinking they can hang with me.. Had to keep my composure.. Smh. On the bright side, Versa 1 is still kicking ass

You dont follow a FTP / IF Lifestyle when bulking or maintaining only when cutting?

Honestly bro, I have just been training just to release pressure and stress.. Not for the right reason right now... Soon though ill get my a$$ back in track with what i SHOULD be doing..

Nowhere near you at the moment.. Haven't really been training for the right reason.. Haha.. Once everything simmere down here, ill be back on track.. Don't get me wrong i still smash, but not like before..
