It's not that bad dude, just keep lifting and get your diet in check. Eat whole foods not weight gainers. If I can consume 6000 calories a day in between college and work then so can you.
Here's some healthy foods that are high in protein and good carbs.
Chicken and rice
Tilapia and rice
Eggs
Milk
Oats
Broccoli
Sweet potatoes
Lean red meats
Lift heavy with good form.... Eat..... Sleep..... Repeat
What kind of doc did you see?
Did you see a chiro at all?
Your posture is horrible. I don't know if your doing it on purpose to emphasize the imbalance, but you are excessively protracted in the picture. Thats what i would deal with first and chances are once that is corrected and you are moving correctly the rest will fall in line.
Troyboi said:Um? Thanks lol .... I think I have like a weird shape body I mean my eyes ain't even in line when I take a pic it's weird maybe that's it one side is bigger then the other
Troyboi said:I don't gdt what you mean, I wasn't posing or anything I was just trying t show my chest
Exactly my point you have horrible posture. You just saying that lends itself to it being an actual problem as you were in a relaxed joint position.
Troyboi said:Wow well I don't know if I can change it bro think it just the way I was born
Again that's my point you can change it and you should because that's most likely the root of your problem. It will also be a platform for injury in the future. Go to your MD or DO, preferably a DO, and ask about getting a postural analysis done by an orthopedist, sports med professional, or physical therapist and then follow their prescription exactly.
Troyboi said:Wow this is crazy but just took some pics for ya right now so I mean tell me it horrible again lol but at least I get a honest op ........

It's horrible
Troyboi said:Lol thanks
Get it fixed and you'll most likely fix your problem. Then maintain it with proper exercise programming, mobility and flexibility work. You'll avoid a slew of neck back shoulder hip knee and ankle problems you would otherwise be apt to suffer.
Although I do get the feeling everything I am telling you is going in one ear and out the other...
Troyboi said:No bro it's going in trust me I think it always known iv had it I mean I don't take my shirt off ever and I'm young it's stupid and I didn't know you can fix it I am listing to ya iv just looked it up on google trying to read more about it it's just finding out how I go about getting someone to help me? That's the confusing part I mean will my doctor help
Okay good, well I posted a four part article series for you in a previous post. I also explained what you should do in a previous post regarding an MD or DO and where to go from there.
Troyboi said:Ok well ima book a doctors appointment tomorrow and also I'm on youtube now to see more, ya make a guy feel ugly dude lol I already have problems with the way I look lol but I'm thinkful for the truth this is why I'm trying my best to get fit fix my self up
Has nothing to do with looks, it's about the musculoskeletal system which is under the skin. None of my posts were in any way referring to looks only attempting to explain your posture and how to fix it. I'm sorry if my blunt use of the word horrible was offensive but it served its purpose as it caught your attention and you are now seeking proper treatment.
Troyboi said:I understand bro it's cool I'm great full ya posted ima try get this sorted last thing do you know how long it will take?
It depends on the severity of the imbalances take it day by day.

This. Your shoulders rotate internally. Odds are your pec minors are tight (more so in your smaller pec) and it's restricting blood flow and not allowing you to fully hot your chest.
Odds are you feel shoulder pain when benching touch. Look up trigger point release for pec minor and release yourself and work on stretching and not lifting until you have better mobility.

Troyboi said:Hold on so your saying don't lift ?
Troyboi said:This is getting out there now so your saying stop letting/working out and just fix this? All do respect but ain't that worst? I'm pretty chubby bro I need to get red of bf and keep n my diet surly I don't give up all of this?
You can lift but you need to focus on stretching. The reason you can't build a chest is because you're repeating the same behavior. That is the definition of crazy.
You need to focus in flexibility and stretching or the fascia will become so tight it will cut off blood flow and you will get scar tissue. Foam roll, stretch and trigger release yourself or you're posture will only get worse. I'm also willing to bet your rhomboid are torn to shreds from the posture too so bare minimum foam roll those
Dude you're entire upper body is tight. If you want to lose weight lift light with perfect form and then hit cardio and stretch, stretch and stretch again. My job is to diagnose people posture problems and fix them.
Look do me a favor relax your bad pec and then with the opposite hand reach in to your pec minor ( it's to the lower side of the shoulder where the pec inserts and look around for a lump or hard strand) odds are there's a huge knot. This is your pec minor and it's holding you back not because your lifting is off but because your flexibility is
Troyboi said:I must be stupid or just having heard of them words what so ever ( foam roll and stretch, trigger release yourself ) I have no clue what that means shall I youtube it? Sorry I'm just dum but I am listening ? Rhomboid? I just I don't know what it means
Troyboi said:Wow! Please help me more bro? I need to sort this out man omg feel like a freak! ....... Ok so il just that now see if I can find a hard lump or strand brb
Haha okay I'm not meaning to be harsh but if you want results then you'll need to focus on this. Fixing your chest isn't about just benching more know what I mean?
Look up self chest trigger release. Your muscle is surrounded by fascia which is super tight and can constrict it in time if the muscle is held in a certain position (hence your internally rotated shoulders) it happens a lot to people who play video games or are at a computer or text a lot.
Also go look up foam rolling and invest in a foam roller and foam roll for at least an hour every day. Yes EVERY day.
Than look up static stretching and stretch out all your muscles after you foam roll for at least another half hour. So I can spend half an hour lifting an hour trigger releasing as foam rolling and another half hour stretching. That's 2 hours at the gym. Do that and eventually your shoulders will roll back and should fix themselves in a few months if you're diligent
Troyboi said:Omg! Your right when I was 15 I was depressed over my dad dieing and stayed in my room for about 4 years and all I did was play games all the time none stop
Man if there's anyways to add ya as a friend? Ima look up everything and in the mean time just go light on weights with good form il keep ya updated man thanks a lot ima look up on them now wow
Yeah man I'm a personal trainer so it's my job. Everyone thinks it's weight but in reality it's just the flexibility training and fascia that's causing the problems 9/10 times.
Foam Rollin is hard but it will def give u a bi difference my man keep me updated with your progress and hopefully you can open up that chest my man.
U can just go to my profile if you want ill accept your friend request
Troyboi said:Thanks bro il still book appointment with doctor see if I can get a one on one in face contact to help me ( I doubt it tho ) I'm just going to charge my ipad soon as its charge I'm looking up everything your saying il add ya now..... Not true at all. A DO or MD will write a script so that his insurance will cover the PT visits. He will receive proper screening which will allow for effective use of modalities, tissue manipulation and exercise prescription. A doc will allow him to access what he needs and keep him from taking random guesses as to how implement all of this information.
For the script you may need to express some degree of pain in the shoulders, back, etc. even if you have none depending on the doc's level of understanding with regards to the musculoskeletal system and importance of posture.
Troyboi said:Oh ok I will iv booked it now n still ordered the roller and stuff ...... Il say it hurts realy bad and my back to ? I'm not living tho because it does realy hurt kinda

Yeah true, but only sometimes. I often get pissed at doctors because I have people come o me after going to a doctor and they tell them **** like, "just get lipo, a tummy tuck, here you need a medication because u probably working out probably just won't work for you, etc. etc."
The **** I hear literally makes me furious sometimes so I often get fed up with the doctors of today who would rather medicate than actually treat. Not that all are that way there are plenty who do a phenomenal job and recommend a healthy lifestyle and give plenty of help but then there's such an equal amount of those who I feel almost tell people to just medicate and sit at home and slowly die. Sad ****
2 cents...
As some have pointed too, it can at times boil down to some muscle tightness, postures and the likes. Which happens overtime or life and can be reversed overtime with subtle changes while you go about your daily life.
More than a few people have some posture situations but it never means you are stuck with them unless there is an actual skeletal difference, That does not really appear to be, but a doc would be able to give you all that info because no one can really diagnosis over the internet.
With the onset of more cameras and what not in everyone's hands these days, we get more looks and pics of ourselves especially without clothes blocking certain definition.
When I was younger I had a rt side shoulder drop, with my left leg appearing shorter. My hip and back was slightly twisted to one side. It is fixable by what most chiros call forced correction and or manipulations. I was given a small wedge to wear in my one shoe for about 6 months, which I never felt. And overtime and balanced exercises, the body evened itself out.
You are not at all ugly and in fact you have a better set of shoulders on you than a lot of people and with a good v taper etc. etc. You may just also be carrying a little more BW than you desire at this time, but that is also quite fixable.
Hang in there and don't overthink or sweat it too much.
Troyboi said:I just don't get my training now I mean can I still do my training as nor al then do the rolling , Stretching after? As I can't do all my workout in just half a hour I mean I do at least 20 min cardio after each workout so I'm just abig confused on that bit
Hey man thanks a lot for that post i am great full, I just hope I can fix it as I am walking around keeping my body as strait as I can till I get the doc see what he/she says.
It's very confusing as iv never heard of it till last night but I'm listing to everyone you guys sure know ya stuff thanks man
