New Havoc Cycle info and PCT

Me:
33 years old. 18 years of lifting - of course I had periods in my life where I wasn't in the gym for a while. I quit drinking. My diet is better than good but not amazing. I've pulsed 3 times before over 5 years with nice results. This time I am doing a straight cycle. I am 5'11, 235 lbs, 23%bf. Overall I am in good health but I need to lower my Cholesterol and lose weight. Goal is to be 15% by september 2013

bloodwork was just done. Please ask for any numbers/stats I left out.

cholesterol - 329 total (240 and over is considered high), 63 tri, 37 HDL, 279 LDL (190 and over is considered very high)
free T4 = 1.15 (thyroid I believe)
sodium - 139
pot - 4.7
chloride - 102
CO2 - 27
glucose - 89
creatine - 1.2 (within normal range despite creatine supplementation)
gfr - under 60
gfraa - under 60
calcium - 9.8
protein - 7.8 (.1 over normal)

basically all numbers are good and normals

Free Test - 14 (9-30)
total test - 431 (240-950)
doctor said these numbers look good but I am not happy at all with it and I would like to know if I could go on medication for raising my test.

insulin - 9.6 (2.6-24.9)

clear and clean urine analysis as well (if that even matters)
 
Cycle info: 6 weeks

Havoc - 20/30/40/40/40/40 (I have 148 caps and this works best)
Cycle assist = 4 caps 2x day (start one week prior to cycle week 1)
DHEA -100mg daily
Taurine - 1-2g 3x a day
Omega 3, 6, 9 as directed
Multi-vitamin
Glucosamine for dealing with joint pain - this is just something I am adding in. Not sure it'll help and I haven't heard anyone who has added this.

PCT 6 weeks (is this too long)
Nolvadex 20/20/20/20/20/20 - I've read about tapering down. I'm getting 20mg pills so should I cut them in half or dose EOD or can I stick to ED 20mg?

workout program is (in a nutshell) something like this
6 days on - 1 day off
day 1 - squat, stiff leg deadlifts
day 2 - flat bench, chest dips, lateral raises
day 3 - pulldowns, rear delt work, pullovers
day 4 - squat, leg press with focus on quads
day 5 - incline bench lockouts, flat close grip bench, front delt work
day 6 - back rows, shrugs, bb curls
day 7 - optional off day or repeat

I'm focusing on main movements: squat, bench, pulldowns/pull-ups, rows at the top of each workout. doing roughly 12 working sets. supplemental exercises will get about 4-5 sets each of one exercise. I'll provide some numbers for gauging my progress as I go on and those posts will also better explain my workout protocol.

on cycle I will be doing higher reps (8-12 main movements, 10-15 supplemental movements)
PCT and off cycle I will be doing lower reps (1-7 main movements, 6-9 supplemental movements)

explosive movements with controlled negs. Not really going to failure but once form is compromised I rack the weight. about 2 min rest between sets.

these numbers were close to a good representation of my current strength. I do not go to failure per se just good clean reps and I rack after form is compromised. I've never lifted in the "under 5" rep range so this is new territory involving a new level of technique and confidence.

my training will change slightly while on cycle. I will work in higher rep ranges since I will already be anabolic. To get a better assessment of my strength gains I will pick up this routine in pct.

weeks 1-5 on cycle will display gains made while on havoc for those interested in seeing the gains I experience on it

weeks 6-10/11 will be PCT and I will go back to low reps with (hopefully) high/er weights. I read this is a great way to illicit a natural test response due to the heavy lifting in addition to helping stay mentally motivated and psychologically strong since you see weight go up; which is a bigger motivator than seeing reps go up.

I expect a significant drop in strength so I may wind up using same weights as last week of cycle and seeing what I get...play it by ear and I'll take suggestions.

as I transition from havoc to nolvadex is it recommended (as far as keeping strength gains) to bridge the last week or run first day after cycle ends?

PCT looks pretty good actually, wouldn't say overkill, but if nolva isn't taking care of your gyno problems then you need to hit up a stronger AI; how long have you noticed it? If you're getting bloated from the DAA after 3-4 weeks, drop it. I don't know if you're gyno prone or not, but still sucks man, hopefully you'll get that knocked out quick and that's why I don't like it when people claim these don't aromatase into estrogen.

Ironically I got it from pulsing. I pulsed Havoc 3 times prior to this cycle (which was ED cycle). Noticed it on Christmas last year (2011) but saaw puffy nips while on pulse. Also noticed significant testicular atrophy while pulsing. I wouldn't say pulsing is the true fault rather the misconception that higher doses are safe on pulsing. I was dosing 60 EOD - or mon, tue, thur, fri. I've always dosed DHEA with it. I did do M1D instead of DHEA on second pulse - not sure if that threw a wrench in the plan? This cycle of ED 40 doses was run with cycle support. I dosed all havoc by 1pm -preworkout and took supports after 7pm and again at 11pm (approx). Worked out 6 days a week - on off day I dosed 1/2 dose havoc and no support. Absolutely no testicular atrophy (that I can notice) and only a slight drop off in sex drive.

Also - I was introduced to and recommended Arimidex for the PCT from the cycle that left me with some minor puffy nips. Not sure it had anything to do with it - nor can I say if it helped keep it minimum. I'm def a few pounds over weight so I always brushed it off and figured once I get back to 15% or below it (gyno) should subside. (My luck it'll become more pronounce).

So on my 3rd pulse cycle - I totally bought into the hype. Ran it hard and high (60 EOD or 4 days a week) and didn't do a PCT. That's what they claim pulse is good for, right? Wrong!!!! After that the gyno was even more noticeable (to me). So here I am a year later, finishing my 4th Havoc cycle but first time doing ED doses and I wish I never Pulsed. I was such a pusher of the pulse method too. I'm sure It's great but so many articles are misleading. Yeah I got results on it - but fyk me if I didn't see them piss away days after BC OF NOT PCT!

Thanks for the heads up on the DAA bloating - where in general will I notice it? Feet/hands, Face, Gut or nipple area??? I was thinking of stopping DAA in week 6 to kinda ween off test production.
 
I'm actually about to hit the road, but I'll try and get on the mobile later, if not I'll answer your questions when I get back later tonight.

For that DAA bloat, you'll most likely see it in your midsection/abs, face, could even be chest; past couple of cycles that's where my glycogen is most retained in my chest and I ballooned up.
