Happy Sunday bigs and fellow not-bigs. So last week I somehow found a new way to wreck myself, ultimately caused a vertebrae to rotate slighty (between shoulder blades,) so now I have a pinched nerve root on my right side. It would hurt if anything caused those muscles around it to contract (coughing, breathing deep, rows,) so needless to say the workouts this week were pitiful. I fit right in with the Resolutionists :frustrate

Chiro twice last week to work on straightening it out but even trying to warmup (the bar,) on skwats this morning for a leg day and I was feeling a lot of pressure/pain on that nerve so I'm going to have to rethink how I train legs this evening. Probably just curls and extensions, maybe even throw in the adductors and abductors polish off being a giant mangina.

Yeah bud. Did leg extensions, leg curls, and hack squats today. I even did Midol curls where I sit there popping a few Midol between sets because I felt like such a wuss.

Whatever's on your mind I guess. 6'1" and 195 lbs? That's what I'm talking about now. Dude need to do something about that. I'll sick the Captn on you and his vast assortment of Fish Sticks to get you to big status. Get to 225lb and big, it's winter and that means it's bulking season.

I'm eating Burritos like they're candy trying to get up to 200lb. If I'm lucky I may be up to 190lb. Burritos are the penultimate pre-workout food. If you don't believe me, try it. BIG ARMS!

Back is back to 100% SFW Tuesday night to make sure and just got done w/ chest this afternoon. The gym was empty. I reckon people are afraid that it's going to snow this evening and they'll be stuck at the gym being all not-big with nothing to do but Clean&Curls and spotting each other on Deadlifts. I wonder if Saney still lifts w/ BFT...

I did see some guys doing...what I guess you'd describe as...seated upright rows...with dumbbells. The 'guru' was telling his buddy to "lean forward more" during the lift, because dammit you need to work against your natural spinal curvature to get swole like him.

So yeah...we gotta start picking it up in this thread again...can't go all 'clean thread' on it but we should try to get it going.

lol dude im workin to get to that 225 trust me! im bout to start my next cycle here pretty soon. I gotta let my nuts recover from my surgery and gotta get these antibiotics done then were gonna be g2g!! and yes i know its winter and im most certainly gonna bulk my friend! most certainly!

Im gonna give the burrito a try....never really thought about it but it makes sense! anykind in particular? beef and bean sounds about right.maybe throw some rice and cheese in there

but trust me dude im gonna get a log goin and you better be in when it starts!

Queso chicken has been my weapon of choice: chicken, queso, rice, black beans, pico, salsa roja and the habanero salsa. Solid 800-1000 calories.

ive never done a dirty bulk but im thinking about giving it a try...im pretty lean now but i dont know how im gonna react to this EQ hunger...i dont do well under pressure lol

but dude...im thinkin 225 is definately in reach after my cycle! whatchu think?? what kind of program are you rockin now?

It's not a dirty bulk if lift hard enough. Snacks, lots of snacks. Speaking of, I think I may order a Papa Johns, I think I've racked up 5 Pizzas worth of Pizza. Love those calories. Probably doing shoulders & arms tomorrow so I need to feed.

I think a big is over 200lbs/210? I will achieve big status in at least 2 years. Start my 8 month training to become a RMC in 3 weeks so my not-big status will definitely not change any time soon!

Least i can say i'll be an alpha before a big hoho.

That was the best 7 and a half minutes of my life TK.

And to answer your questions about what is 'big,' I'm sure the Captn will confirm that big is 225lb+

Worked all weekend but have another 3 days of vacation lined up starting tomorrow. Ye-yeah.

Speaking of not bigs:

There's this guy at my gym. Probably a sloppy 200lb, all I ever see this guy do is chest/arms. He slams the weight on every machine with a weight stack. Everything about this guy irritates me; his form sucls, he's sloppy, he walks around with ILS and his chest popped out proud with his not-big stature. I can't tell if he's trying to 'look big' to all the resolutionists in there but he's just so damn bad that I'd include him in a vid of what not to do in the gym. I really need to bring headphones.

Felt like I was gonna puke after legs tonight, guess I know that I did some work in there. Back squats, front squats, weighted kegels...

Nothing too impressive with a 6'7 dude at 220, but 5'9" like mooch was, before he stopped lifting and got addicted to birth control pills, is impressive for sure.

It's all about the lamb on Australia Day!
We did it up with lamb at the chow hall here for Australia Day. Though we have lamb almost everyday available.
