Stats 20 years old lifting since 15 yrs old. 6ft 175lbs. 315 bench squat 400 dead lift 315 military press 155.. I was just wonderin if I would benefit from more carbs I use weight gainer and eat like a horse figured if I threw more carbs It would help my lifts and help me gain more weight?

So keep usin the weight gainer no need to spend more money appreciate it

that like the above poster said

or try your absolute hardest to replace your weight gainer with whole foods and healthy fats. stick with the weight gainer when your in a bind and need the calories.

I usually just drink three a day morning after lunch then right before bed.. I try and eat healthy lol stick to chicken steak eggs potatoes and throw in a few sweets here and there I feel I don't have to eat totally clean since my metabolism is still pretty high.

Is no one going to point out the ridiculousness of those lifts and how they make no sense?

no offense but 3 times a day is stupid and a waste of money. you only need 1g/lb of body weight for your protein intake. weight gainers aren't healthy. it's just whey protein and dextrose and/or maltodextrin (artificial sweetners)

I only take one scoop of protein post workout, the rest of my diet is real food

it makes compete sese... if you count calf reps and add 20 imaginary pounds

i did but didnt wanna start. you started it!

Eat real food. It's absorbed better than any weight gainer you'll buy, your body doesn't like synthetic. Or make a homemade weight gainer to control what you put into it.

Protein powder
Orange juice or milk
Banana or whatever fruit you want to add
Peanut butter if wanted also

Boom protein/Carb drink.

25g nutraplanet brand kwick karb preworkout.

Was using glycomyx but the new year sale made it impossible to pass up.

No need for 3 shakes man, eat some real food

Food
Over
Shakes

Try some Karbolic by ProSupps if your looking for a quality Carb product. Taken post workout it has high glycemic carbs to replenish those depleated glycogen levels.

Dextrose powder is great postworkout for skinny guys and its dirt cheap. If you want to gain weight eat some f'in pizza, ice cream, pop tarts, and fried chicken. If ur not gaining weight ur not eating enough carbs and ur activity level is too high. Cut down workout lengths and up the "bad foods". This advice is not directed to anyone who isn't a hard gainer :P
