Traps look fake too, when he does the front double bi the don't recede like they should. I can make my traps almost as big as that guys but not in a front double bi pose. I think they should make the spotters try the weight before "trying" to spot for someone else... Maybe then they'll understand the full reason people need a spotter... If I can't carry a certain weight as a spotter, I get someone who can to spot... It's called common sense... Fkn dikheads!

I'm talking about the useless spotters we've seen, not every spotter...

Exactly. I used to train with a friend of mine who was 210+ pounds and much stronger than so he would always spot me on the bench, shoulder press and skull crushers but when he would load up the bar for bench and ask me to spot I would get the bigger guys to do it cuz I KNOW i wouldnt be able to hold the bar fast enough for him to get his head out of there before my grip would go and smash his head. Always left my ego at the entrance door at the gym. Better safe and broken.

But agreed on the spotting situation. My buds uncle has a gym in his garage towers, bench, full dumb bell set and all. Whenever we wanted to assess our strength we would have his uncle or his dad spot. They hulked over us and made us look like pussies but I knew I was safe. They knew not to ask us to spot them nor did we offer unless it was both me and my friend on either side with one of the older people as the main spotter. Too much can go wrong to play around in the gym.
 
Nothing happens in my home gym unless in pwr rack with pins set.
