Also doing sport specific drills. "Train how you play". Google "training drills" for whatever sports you want to focus on, and maybe spend one day a week doing drills, or add 1-2 of them to the end of every workout. By repeating movements in an explosive way one usually becomes better at these movements. Its hard to focus on "being explosive" while playing and sometimes I find a person simply is not using full potential in game. Repetition can help with this.
Olympic lifts are great for explosiveness, cleans, snatches, push presses.
However if you have never done them before make sure you have someone competent train you in technique so you don't injure yourself.

those are fantastic lifts for explosiveness. toss some benches in there with a 1sec pause at the bottom and some box squats and that helps quite a bit. deadlifts are also great.
