After an abysmal May, oil prices might be at their low.
From May 1 to June 1 crude oil prices fell 21.8% from $106.50 to $83.23 a barrel, the steepest monthly drop since December 2008.
One week later oil is still hovering around the $83 mark. But why is oil still down?
Oil has also been hampered by weaker than expected economic reports in the United States, suggesting that the world's biggest economy is still struggling in its recovery.
Also the Eurozone debt crisis has had a strengthening effect on the U.S. dollar, which has helped push oil prices down as the dollar is the global currency for oil.
But many experts say the rise in oil prices is inevitable. From a projected 25% increase in global demand by 2015 to the possibility of Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz, there are many factors in play here.
As Money Morning's Chief Investment Strategist Keith Fitz-Gerald stated, "demand isn't the only driving force in oil prices." Also contributing, he says, "are geopolitics, supply constrictions, wars and tyrants with their hand on crude spigots."
Iran Oil Embargo Effect
As summer approaches more motorists won't be the only factor affecting the supply and demand of oil.
On January 23, the European Union agreed to place an embargo on Iranian oil starting July 1 and will subsequently freeze the assets of Iran's central bank.
In response to those decisions Iran announced a month later that it would stop all sales of oil to Britain and France.
Then SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), instructed by the EU and pressured by the U.S., disconnected 25 Iranian banks including the Central Bank of Iran, from its services.
SWIFT is responsible for more than 80% of the world's financial transactions and electronic money transfers.
Iran's leaders remain steadfast in their decision to continue questionable nuclear activities and have stated that they can withstand the effects of the embargo and current economic sanctions.
So far Iranian oil exports are down more than 25% this year.
How High Can Oil Prices Go?
A special report by Money Morning's own energy expert indicated three reasons or possible scenarios that could contribute to the escalation in oil prices.
The increasing shortage of supply in Europe stemming from less Libyan oil, problems in the North Sea, and the Iran oil embargo which could result in a shortage of 600,000 barrels a day.
The ever present threat by Iran to respond to sanctions by shutting down the Strait of Hormuz, through which 17 million barrels of Middle Eastern crude travel to Western refineries every day.
The possibility that Israel could stage a pre-emptive strike against Iran to stop its nuclear weapons program, plunging the Middle East into war and disrupting the global oil-supply chain.
Moors says any one of those events would push crude sharply higher. Estimates for the impact on oil prices if all three occur range from $200 a barrel to as high as $440. These numbers might seem high, but are a definite possibility.
Even if none of those events occur oil prices should still rise from the increased demand and supply constraints it faces.
The price of oil is mainly determined by the trading of oil contracts on the commodities market, as well as the trading of oil etf stocks. Investment banks, hedge funds, traders, have much more influence over the price of oil than middle east conflicts. The actual price of a barrel of oil should be about $40 if you took trading and speculation out of the game.

"This is only a small group of the infiltrators," Interior Minister Eli Yishai said. "I'm not acting out of hatred of strangers but love of my people and to rescue the homeland."
The goal is to repatriate all the estimated 60,000 African migrants, whose growing numbers are seen by many Israelis as a law and order issue and even a threat to the long-term viability of the Jewish state.
Illegal migration, and the pool of cheap labor it provides, is a common headache for developed economies. Israel is grappling with its own special ghosts as it tackles the problem.
For some in Israel, built by immigrants and refugees, internment and deportation are bad solutions that may damage the international image of the country needlessly.
They say rounding up members of a different racial group and holding them in camps for deportation may invite allusions to the Nazi Holocaust, however unfair such comparisons may be, and betrays Jewish values.

Many Sudanese, including hundreds who escaped from conflict and humanitarian disaster in Darfur, have been in Israel for several years, living in legal limbo without formal refugee status, but peaceably, they say.
Now they are caught up in a wave of hostility towards blacks in general, focused on a poor area of south Tel Aviv where they congregate.
"We're being called a cancer and an AIDs virus on the Israeli people, by politicians in the Knesset," said protest organizer Jacob Berri. He accused government right-wingers of racist incitement and inflammatory language.
The number of migrants crossing into Israel over the Sinai desert border has accelerated since 2006. It ballooned last year when revolution distracted Egypt's attention from policing Bedouin people-smugglers operating in the Sinai peninsula.
Israel has now built a high fence along the frontier.
"My policy with regard to the illegal infiltrators seeking work is clear," Netanyahu said in a May 29 speech. "First of all, to stop their entry with the fence and at the same time to deport the infiltrators who are in Israel."
He warns of Africans "flooding" and "swamping" Israel, threatening "the character of the country". Emergency measures to reverse the influx will include "detention facilities with thousands of units", Netanyahu said last week.
Berri said the South Sudanese number about 700. They know when they are not wanted and will leave, he said. But their refugee status must first be assured by the United Nations, and third-country resettlement programs established.

Poor south Tel Aviv residents say affluent north Tel Aviv Jews can afford to be liberal, because the Africans are not in their back yard. An opinion poll last week showed 52 percent of Israelis agree that the Africans are "a cancer".
"They've come here to rape and steal," one Israeli woman shouted at a small but ugly anti-migrant demonstration earlier this month in south Tel Aviv. "We should burn them out, put poison in their food," said an elderly man.
Netanyahu urges restraint. "We are a moral people and we will act accordingly. We denounce violence; we denounce invective. We respect human rights," he said, but added: "Israel cannot accept "infiltrators from an entire continent".
The term "infiltrators" is also used by authorities to describe armed Palestinian militants.
Voluntary deportees will get financial assistance.
"Whoever comes forward will get his grant ... from the moment you come to immigration authorities and say you will pack up, from that moment you will be given an opportunity to pack up, and the grant of 1,000 euros," Yishai said.
The first planeload is expected to leave Israel next week.

I am not a Zionist, nor am I an anti-zionist. But I do believe Israel has the right to survive. Just as every people in the world do. Israel is literally surrounded by countries who want them wiped off the map. This is the truth and not "Zionist Propaganda". Millions of people HATE them and want them eliminated. Israel wants all (most) of their land, and the settlements keep expanding...Palestines defend themselves so Israel just want those people to shut up and grow up, or die and go away...they are not allowed to save their face.

You can argue the Israeli's were there first. You can argue the Native Americans were here first. But who was here before them? And who was there before the Israeli's. It's a never ending conflict. These people have been fighting over that land for literally thousands of years. Conquest has been a part of human events since time immemorial.
I agree a two state solution is key and the only way for peace down the road. Unfortunately over the past 20 years every time it's about to be settled, the Palestinians receive massive pressure from Hammas, Iran and others not to follow through and instead not recognize Israel completely.
Here's how I look at it. To break it down as simple as possible. There are good Jews and bad Jews. Good Palestinians and bad Palestinians. If the Jewish state was THAT evil, and wanted ALL of the land, they would have used the nuclear weapons they have to take out whatever middle eastern country they want. IF, Iran or the extremist sect of Palestine had nukes, they would have already sent a nuke over to Israel with one of the bombs they shoot over there every day. At the end of the day I have more faith in good coming from people who live in a democratic/capitalistic nation, than those living under a dictatorship and Sharia law.

Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State has announced that the Obama administration is working with the United Nations (UN) to approve, through the US Congress, the Small Arms Treaty (SAT).
Clinton affirmed that the US would facilitate talks with the UN in the Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty, as long as it “operates under the rules of consensus decision-making. Consensus is needed to ensure the widest possible support for the Treaty and to avoid loopholes in the Treaty that can be exploited by those wishing to export arms irresponsibly.”
This global gun control scheme, concocted by the UN, is called the Invalid Link Removed (IACT). Disguised as a way to combat terrorism, insurgents and international criminals, this document endeavors to secure the world’s citizens cannot defend themselves.
The IACT will empower the UN to literally force the US government to:
• Enact internationally agreed licensing requirements for Americans
• Confiscate and destroy unauthorized firearms of Americans while allowing the US government to keep theirs
• Ban trade, sale and private ownership of semi-automatic guns
• Create and mandate an international registry to organize an encompassing gun confiscation in America

The Obama administration, in an attempt to appear coy, agreed to sign only if other states agreed to as well. Yet many Senators, the National Rifle Association (NRA) and pro-gun advocates perceive IACT as the first step in international gun control and will not abide by while Obama gives the UN over-reaching power to destroy our 2nd Amendment and our Constitutional Republic.
A final version of SAT, which is based on IACT will be drafted by 2013.
Chris Cox, the NRA’s top lobbyist, explains: “As we have for the past 15 years, the NRA will fight to stop a United Nations Arms Trade Treaty that infringes on the Constitutional rights of American gun owners.” Cox feels that Senators like Moran “sends a clear message to the international bureaucrats who want to eliminate our fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms. Clearly, a U.N. Arms Trade Treaty that includes civilian arms within its scope is not supported by the American people or their elected U.S. Senators. Senator Moran is a true champion of our freedom. The Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro has begun. The global leviathan that is the United Nations bares its teeth. In the months preceeding the summit, a continuing stream of publications has poured down from every corner of the transnational community, in essence calling for global governance of the environment as well as a stark reduction in the global human population. These two items are very much intertwined, according to the growing pile of UN papers flying from the supranational tree, all basically stating that the first is necessary in order to facilitate the latter.
One of these leaves circles down to us from the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) displays a collection of “key messages” written by the usual suspects, such as dedicated man-hater Invalid Link Removed, eco-terrorist Invalid Link Removed and NASA’s own mad-as-hell environmentalist Invalid Link Removed. Their joint statement titled “Invalid Link Removed” was clearly designed to inspire the UN and its upcoming confab to make haste with global government. In their manifesto the impatient fiends call for a global implementation of population policies and rights being trampled upon in order to address what they call “the population issue”:
“The population issue should be urgently addressed by education and empowerment of women, including in the work-force and in rights, ownership and inheritance; health care of children and the elderly; and making modern contraception accessible to all.”, they write.
“Globally, we must find better means to agree and implement measures to achieve collective goals.”
The authors go on to assert that “in the face of an absolutely unprecedented emergency, society has no choice but to take dramatic action to avert a collapse of civilization. Either we will change our ways and build an entirely new kind of global society, or they will be changed for us.”
Decrying that “funding (for worldwide fertility control) decreased by 30% between 1995 and 2008, not least as a result of legislative pressure from the religious right in the USA and elsewhere”, the authors call for “education and planning needed to foster and achieve a sustainable human population and lifestyles.”
Now what do you think this means exactly, a sustainable human population? James Lovelock in 2009 gave us the answer, called for the culling of the population with a desired outcome of 1 billion people worldwide.

Remember this when you read his proposals for a global society necessary to “address population issues”. Also out of Ecoscience:
“… Perhaps those agencies, combined with UNEP and the United Nations population agencies, might eventually be developed into a Planetary Regime—sort of an international superagency for population, resources, and environment. Such a comprehensive Planetary Regime could control the development, administration, conservation, and distribution of all natural resources, renewable or nonrenewable, at least insofar as international implications exist.”
This suggestion might well come to pass, considering the statements issued by an organization calling itself the “Regeneration Project”, when recently it suggested in their manifest Invalid Link Removed that the UN Security Council expand its mandate “to include environmental issues and security issues related to the environment” as well as “an International Court for the Environment (ICE) to settle disputes related to the environment and international environmental law.”

Currently left largely to UNEP and the UN’s Commission on Sustainable Development, there is a desire by many to strengthen the authority of these institutions and/or create a new World Environment Organization (WEO).”
The group also called upon governments and NGO’s to create “personal carbon quotas, essentially making carbon a new form of currency for Individuals.”
A global carbon policy, in other words, enforced by a global carbon court. Furthermore, the group advocates implementation of population stabilization policies at the upcoming summit:
“Securing commitments from governments to try to stabilize global population”, the document reads.
Stabilize the global population no less, and using UN member-states (governments) as the enforcers of policies designed to achieve that goal. Here we have yet another example of key globalist players proposing far-reaching measures to exercise control over the masses, not for the sake of control itself (that’s something for the minor psychopaths that play along), but with the objective of culling the human population globally.

The envisioned “Planetary Regime” is nearing when we take into consideration this set of proposals issued by the group. We might be surprised were the group not co-sponsored by the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and the World Bank. We have come to expect such things from these organizations. It was the World Bank Invalid Link Removed (page 8 ) that “drastic steps” may be necessary if developing nations do not comply with their population control directives.
It was not the first time that the Regeneration Project sought to cull the human population. In their paper Invalid Link Removed the group, consistent with the Georgia Guidestones, advises governments to keep the population under a certain number:
“(…) stabilizing population to not more than eight billion people”, the Unfinished Business report explains.
Another concept that has been thrown out there, is that humanity has now entered a new geological era, dominated not by natural processes, but by man. This new age, ominously dubbed “the Anthropocene” can only be reversed, the UN says, when transnational rule wipes out sovereign rule- a suggestion that has a distinct tyrannical ring to it.
This particular promo, designed to prelude the Earth Summit, has been put out by a team of UN-sponsored scientists. The Invalid Link Removed associated with the “short film” states it has been set up by “researchers and communicators from some of the leading scientific research institutions on global sustainability.”
The “leading scientific institutions” the website mentions are visible at the credits-page, namely: the Stockholm Environment Institute, the Geosphere-Biosphere Programme, Stockholm University and other organizations aimed at promoting global governance.
The film itself follows the same old tiresome script we’ve heard so often from the mouths of neo-eugenic propagandists: too many people, shrinking icecaps, rising sea levels and all the rest.
In an very recent paper by Colorado state university professor Philip Cafaro titled “Invalid Link Removed“, the term “Anthropocene” pops up once more- and once again the finger is explicitly pointed towards humanity as the prime evildoer. Citing the UN’s debunked Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the professor paints a picture of gloom and doom (page 57):
“Scientists now speak of humanity’s increased demands and impacts on the globe as ushering in a new geological epoch: the Anthropocene. Such selfish and destructive appropriation of the resources of the Earth can only be described as interspecies genocide.”
He of course forgets to mention that if there’s one thing constant about climate, is that it changes constantly. Furthermore, the idea that CO2 emissions have any significant impact on the earth’s atmosphere has really been put back on the fiction-shelf where it belongs :
“It is past time to acknowledge the immense injustice toward other species represented by climate change and other human assaults on the biosphere”, the professor goes on to say: “and to reform our environmental ethics and behavior accordingly.”
What the professor means when he writes “behavior”, is not just some friendly “family planning”- campaign. He actually writes that in order to prevent global Armageddon, only the most draconian policies will do:
“Ending human population growth is almost certainly a necessary (but not sufficient) condition for preventing catastrophic global climate change. Indeed, significantly reducing current human numbers (emphasis added) may be necessary in order to do so.”
An important distinction. It is one thing to end growth. It’s quite another thing to reduce current human numbers.
“(…) we are more likely to achieve a decent future for the world’s poor if we end global population growth as quickly as possible. In fact, reducing the human population may be necessary in order to achieve such a future.”, the professor repeats himself on page 54.
Cafaro regards the issue as an ethical one- and stresses once again that nothing less than a significant reduction in the current human population is necessary.
“My first substantive assertion in the second half of this paper is as follows”, he writes. “The consensus regarding acceptable limits to global climate change demands, at a minimum, that we take steps to end human population growth. Indeed, taking such limits seriously probably supports significantly reducing the size of the current global human population. Given the role population growth has played and will play in accelerating climate change under business as usual, no less cautious policy would appear to pass ethical muster.”
Decrying that “the IPCC’s position seems to be that population control is too controversial to discuss.”, the professor goes on to say that “(…) the failure to address population issues distorts our judgments regarding just what we should do to mitigate and adapt to climate change, and what constitutes a fair international division of labor regarding these efforts.”
As Cafaro continues his case for stringent populationpolicies worldwide, he touches upon the inevitable question whether to implement such policies by force or on a voluntary basis:
“(…) the question of coercion may not be avoidable forever. It is an article of faith among many progressive writers in this area that voluntary methods are sufficient to limit populations to acceptable levels, but that probably does not hold true for all times and places, and it may not hold true for the world as a whole in the 21st or 22nd centuries.”
The professor then argues that for any population policy to be effective, it has to be done by coercion:
“China’s policies have largely stabilized its population, while some nations that rely solely on non-coercive measures, like India, continue to balloon.”
The professor can of course not wholly avoid the issue of free will perhaps revolting against a UN enforced global population-reducing assault:
“True, for many people, telling them what kind of car to drive or how many children to have will seem an intolerable infringement of their rights. But then we should move expeditiously to put non-coercive or less coercive incentives in place that achieve the desired ends. If these prove insufficient, then we may have to accept stricter limits on our freedom to consume or to have children.”
Another a bunch of scientists involved with the “Planet under Pressure” confab- one of whom stated earlier that Invalid Link Removed- is featuring the Anthropocene-film prominently on its website, in addition to calling for global government to stem the tide of “human-induced climate change”.
As part of the State of the Planet Declaration issued by the UN-backed organization, a collection of high-level scientists now pushes the idea of global governance, calling it “Earth System Governance”. The declaration reads:
“Governments must take action to support institutions and mechanisms that will improve coherence, as well as bring about integrated policy and action across the social, economic and environmental pillars. Current understanding supports the creation of a Sustainable Development Council within the UN system to integrate social, economic and environmental policy at the global level. There is also strong support for strengthening global governance by including civil society, business and industry in decision-making at all levels.”
Again: a Planetary Regime by any other name…
In a separate policy brief put out by the same confab titled Transforming Governance and Institutions for a Planet under Pressure the initiators again openly promote the emergence of global government when they write under the header “Prepare Global Governance for a Warmer World”:
“At the global level, the institutional framework seems ill prepared to cope with the consequences of massive global change that will affect such major systems as food, water, energy, health and migration, and their interactions. While massive changes, for example in sea level, may not be imminent, future dangers can be minimized if institutional reform is planned and negotiated today. Global adaptation programmes thus need to become a core concern of the UN system and governments.”
It has of course been exhaustively documented that if there’s one thing constant about the climate, is that it changes constantly. Furthermore, the idea of world government is much older than any global warming-craze the elite have come up with. As lord Christopher Monckton points out, the UNEP and other agencies within the UN system are just extra bureaucracies that are out to ruin individual freedom, replacing real liberty with the artificial sort under an planetary rule. Furthermore, all this emphasis on culling the population must give even the most gullible reader pause.

"If you go the textbook way with all these Chinese characters it just makes you intimidated," said the Toyko-born model and designer.
Mick Gleissner, the Hong Kong-based filmmaker who produces the videos, said he hoped to inspire foreigners facing "the Herculean task of learning Chinese."
"Chinese is intimidating. You look at the characters, the strange melody of sounds. And then you watch a video like this and it's kind of ridiculous but it's also fun," said Gleissner, originally from Germany.
But Annie Chan, chairwoman of Hong Kong's Association for the Advancement of Feminism, complained that the website "exoticised" Chinese women.
And Sue-Mei Thompson, executive director of Hong Kong's Women's Foundation, said her group was "vehemently opposed to gender stereotyping, especially anything that objectifies women as sex objects".
The New Obama Doctrine, A Six-Point Plan for Global War
Special Ops, Drones, Spy Games, Civilian Soldiers, Proxy Fighters, and Cyber Warfare

It looked like a scene out of a Hollywood movie. In the inky darkness, men in full combat gear, armed with automatic weapons and wearing night-vision goggles, grabbed hold of a thick, woven cable hanging from a MH-47 Chinook helicopter. Then, in a flash, each “fast-roped” down onto a ship below. Afterward, “Mike,” a Navy SEAL who would not give his last name, bragged to an Army public affairs sergeant that, when they were on their game, the SEALs could put 15 men on a ship this way in 30 seconds or less.
Once on the aft deck, the special ops troops broke into squads and methodically searched the ship as it bobbed in Jinhae Harbor, South Korea. Below deck and on the bridge, the commandos located several men and trained their weapons on them, but nobody fired a shot. It was, after all, a training exercise.
All of those ship-searchers were SEALs, but not all of them were American. Some were from Naval Special Warfare Group 1 out of Coronado, California; others hailed from South Korea’s Naval Special Brigade. The drill was part of Foal Eagle 2012, a multinational, joint-service exercise. It was also a model for -- and one small part of -- a much publicized U.S. military “pivot” from the Greater Middle East to Asia, a move that includes sending an initial contingent of 250 Marines to Darwin, Australia, basing littoral combat ships in Singapore, strengthening military ties with Invalid Link Removed and Invalid Link Removed, staging war games in the Philippines (as well as a drone strike there), and shifting the majority of the Navy’s ships to the Pacific by the end of the decade.
That modest training exercise also reflected another kind of pivot. The face of American-style war-fighting is once again changing. Forget full-scale invasions and large-footprint occupations on the Eurasian mainland; instead, think: special operations forces working on their own but also training or fighting beside allied militaries (if not outright proxy armies) in hot spots around the world. And along with those special ops advisors, trainers, and commandos expect ever more funds and efforts to flow into the militarization of spying and intelligence, the use of drone aircraft, the launching of cyber-attacks, and joint Pentagon operations with increasingly militarized “civilian” government agencies.
Much of this has been noted in the media, but how it all fits together into what could be called the new global face of empire has escaped attention. And yet this represents nothing short of a new Obama doctrine, a six-point program for twenty-first-century war, American-style, that the administration is now carefully developing and honing. Its global scope is already breathtaking, if little recognized, and like Donald Rumsfeld’s military lite and David Petraeus’s counterinsurgency operations, it is evidently going to have its day in the sun -- and like them, it will undoubtedly disappoint in ways that will surprise its creators.
The Blur-ness
For many years, the U.S. military has been talking up and promoting the concept of “Invalid Link Removed.” An Army helicopter landing Navy SEALs on a Korean ship catches some of this ethos at the tactical level. But the future, it seems, has something else in store. Think of it as “blur-ness,” a kind of organizational version of war-fighting in which a dominant Pentagon fuses its forces with other government agencies -- especially the CIA, the State Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration -- in complex, overlapping missions around the globe.
In 2001, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld began his "revolution in military affairs," steering the Pentagon toward a Invalid Link Removed model of high-tech, Invalid Link Removed forces. The concept came to a Invalid Link Removed in Iraq’s embattled cities. A decade later, the last vestiges of its many failures continue to play out in a stalemated war in Afghanistan against a rag-tag minority insurgency that can’t be beaten. In the years since, two secretaries of defense and a new president have presided over another transformation -- this one geared toward avoiding ruinous, large-scale land wars which the U.S. has consistently proven unable to win.
Under President Obama, the U.S. has expanded or launched numerous military campaigns -- most of them utilizing a mix of the six elements of twenty-first-century American war. Take the American war in Pakistan -- a poster-child for what might now be called the Obama formula, if not doctrine. Beginning as a Invalid Link Removed drone assassination campaign backed by limited Invalid Link Removed commando raids under the Bush administration, U.S. operations in Pakistan have expanded into something close to a full-scale robotic air war, complemented by Invalid Link Removed helicopter Invalid Link Removed, CIA-funded “Invalid Link Removed” of Afghan proxy forces, as well as boots-on-the-ground Invalid Link Removed by elite special operations forces, including the Invalid Link Removed that killed Osama bin Laden.
The CIA has conducted clandestine intelligence and surveillance Invalid Link Removed in Pakistan, too, though its role may, in the future, be less important, thanks to Pentagon mission creep. In April, in fact, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta Invalid Link Removed the creation of a new CIA-like espionage agency within the Pentagon called the Defense Clandestine Service. According to the Washington Post, its aim is to expand “the military’s espionage efforts beyond war zones.”
Over the last decade, the very notion of war zones has become remarkably muddled, mirroring the blurring of the missions and activities of the CIA and Pentagon. Analyzing the new agency and the “broader convergence trend” between Department of Defense and CIA missions, the Invalid Link Removed noted that the “blurring is also evident in the organizations’ upper ranks. Panetta previously served as CIA director, and that post is currently held by retired four-star Army Gen. David H. Petraeus.”
Not to be outdone, last year the State Department, once the seat of diplomacy, continued on its Invalid Link Removed (and marginalization) when it agreed to pool some of its resources with the Pentagon to create the Invalid Link Removed. That program will allow the Defense Department even greater say in how aid from Washington will flow to proxy forces in places like Yemen and the Horn of Africa.
One thing is certain: American war-making (along with its spies and its diplomats) is heading ever deeper into “the shadows.” Expect yet more clandestine operations in ever more places with, of course, ever more potential for blowback in the years ahead.
Shedding Light on “the Dark Continent”
One locale likely to see an influx of Pentagon spies in the coming years is Africa. Under President Obama, operations on the continent have accelerated far Invalid Link RemovedInvalid Link Removed more Invalid Link Removed of the Invalid Link Removed. Last year’s war in Libya; a regional drone campaign with missions run out of Invalid Link Removed in Djibouti, Invalid Link Removed, and the Indian Ocean archipelago nation of Seychelles; a flotilla of Invalid Link Removed in that ocean supporting regional operations; a multi-pronged military and CIA campaign against militants in Somalia, including Invalid Link Removed, training for Somali agents, Invalid Link Removed, Invalid Link Removed, and U.S. Invalid Link Removed; a massive influx of cash for counterterrorism operations across Invalid Link Removed; a possible Invalid Link Removed, carried out on the sly in the region using manned aircraft; Invalid Link Removed of dollars in arms for allied mercenaries and African troops; and a special ops Invalid Link Removed (bolstered by Invalid Link Removed) dispatched to help capture or kill Lord’s Resistance Army leader Joseph Kony and his senior commanders, operating in Uganda, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Invalid Link Removed (where U.S. Special Forces now have a new Invalid Link Removed) only begins to scratch the surface of Washington’s fast-expanding plans and activities in the region.
Even less well known are other U.S. military efforts designed to train African forces for operations now considered integral to American interests on the continent. These include, for example, a mission by elite Force Recon Marines from the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12 (SPMAGTF-12) to train soldiers from the Uganda People's Defense Force, which supplies the majority of troops to the African Union Mission in Somalia.
Earlier this year, Marines from SPMAGTF-12 also trained soldiers from the Burundi National Defense Force, the second-largest contingent in Somalia; sent trainers into Djibouti (where the U.S. already maintains a major Horn of Africa base at Camp Lemonier); and traveled to Liberia where they focused on teaching riot-control techniques to Liberia’s military as part of an otherwise State Department spearheaded effort to rebuild that force.
The U.S. is also Invalid Link Removed counterterrorism training and equipping militaries in Algeria, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mauritania, Niger, and Tunisia. In addition, U.S. Africa Command (Africom) has 14 major joint-training exercises planned for 2012, including operations in Morocco, Cameroon, Gabon, Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho, Senegal, and what may become the Pakistan of Africa, Nigeria.
Even this, however, doesn’t encompass the full breadth of U.S. training and advising missions in Africa. To take an example not on Africom’s list, this spring the U.S. brought together 11 nations, including Cote d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Liberia, Mauritania, and Sierra Leone to take part in a maritime training exercise code-named Saharan Express 2012.
Back in the Backyard
Since its founding, the United States has often meddled close to home, treating the Caribbean as its private lake and intervening at will throughout Latin America. During the Bush years, Invalid Link Removed some Invalid Link Removed exceptions, Washington’s interest in America’s “backyard” took a backseat to wars farther from home. Recently, however, the Obama administration has been ramping up operations south of the border using its new formula. This has meant Pentagon Invalid Link Removed deep inside Mexico to aid that country’s battle against the drug cartels, while CIA agents and civilian operatives from the Department of Defense were Invalid Link Removed to take part in the country’s drug war.
In 2012, the Pentagon has also ramped up its anti-drug operations in Honduras. Working out of Invalid Link Removed and other remote camps there, the U.S. military is supporting Honduran operations by way of the methods it honed in Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition, U.S. forces have taken part in joint operations with Honduran troops as part of a training mission dubbed Beyond the Horizon 2012; Green Berets have been Invalid Link Removed Honduran Special Operations forces in anti-smuggling operations; and a Drug Enforcement Administration Foreign-deployed Advisory Support Team, originally created to disrupt the poppy trade in Afghanistan, has joined forces with Honduras’s Tactical Response Team, that country’s most elite counternarcotics unit. A glimpse of these operations made the news recently when DEA agents, flying in an American helicopter, were Invalid Link Removed in an aerial attack on Invalid Link Removed that killed two men and two pregnant women in the remote Mosquito Coast region.
Less visible have been U.S. efforts in Guyana, where Special Operation Forces have been training local troops in heliborne air assault techniques. “This is the first timewe have had this type of exercise involving SpecialOperations Forces of the United States on such a grandscale,” Colonel Bruce Lovell of the Guyana Defense Force told a U.S. public affairs official earlier this year. “It gives us a chance to validate ourselves and see where we are, what are our shortcomings.”
The U.S. military has been similarly active elsewhere in Latin America, concluding training exercises in Guatemala, sponsoring “Invalid Link Removed” missions in the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Peru, and Panama, and reaching an agreement to carry out 19 “activities” with the Colombian army over the next year, including joint military exercises.

Still in the Middle of the Middle East
Despite the end of the Iraq and Libyan wars, a coming drawdown of forces in Afghanistan, and copious public announcements about its national security Invalid Link Removed toward Asia, Washington is by no means withdrawing from the Greater Middle East. In addition to continuing operations in Invalid Link Removed, the U.S. has consistently been at work training Invalid Link Removed, building up military bases, and brokering weapons sales and arms transfers to despots in the region from Bahrain to Yemen.
In fact, Yemen, like its neighbor, Somalia, across the Gulf of Aden, has become a laboratory for Obama’s wars. There, the U.S. is carrying out its signature new brand of warfare with “black ops” troops like the SEALs and the Army’s Delta Force undoubtedly conducting kill/capture missions, while “white” forces like the Green Berets and Rangers are Invalid Link Removed indigenous troops, and robot planes Invalid Link Removed members of al-Qaeda and its affiliates, possibly assisted by an even more secret contingent of Invalid Link Removed.
The Middle East has also become the somewhat unlikely poster-region for another emerging facet of the Obama doctrine: cyberwar efforts. In a category-blurring speaking engagement, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Invalid Link Removed at the recent Special Operations Forces Industry Conference in Florida where she gave a Invalid Link Removed talking up her department’s eagerness to join in the new American way of war. “We need Special Operations Forces who are as comfortable drinking tea with tribal leaders as raiding a terrorist compound,'' she told the crowd. “We also need diplomats and development experts who are up to the job of being your partners."
Clinton then took the opportunity to Invalid Link Removed her agency’s online efforts, aimed at websites used by al-Qaeda's affiliate in Yemen. When al-Qaeda recruitment messages appeared on the latter, Invalid Link Removed, “our team plastered the same sites with altered versions… that showed the toll al-Qaeda attacks have taken on the Yemeni people.” She further noted that this information-warfare mission was carried out by experts at State’s Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications with assistance, not surprisingly, from the military and the U.S. Intelligence Community.
These modest on-line efforts join Invalid Link Removed methods of Invalid Link Removed being employed by the Invalid Link Removed and the CIA, including the recently Invalid Link Removed “Olympic Games,” a program of sophisticated attacks on computers in Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities engineered and unleashed by the National Security Agency (NSA) and Unit 8200, Israeli’s equivalent of the NSA. As with other facets of the new way of war, these efforts were begun under the Bush administration but significantly accelerated under the current president, who became the first American commander-in-chief to order sustained cyberattacks designed to cripple another country’s infrastructure.
From Brushfires to Wildfires
Across the globe from Central and South America to Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, the Obama administration is working out its formula for a new American way of war. In its pursuit, the Pentagon and its increasingly militarized government partners are drawing on everything from classic precepts of colonial warfare to the latest technologies.
The United States is an imperial power chastened by more than 10 years of failed, heavy-footprint wars. It is hobbled by a hollowing-out economy, and inundated with hundreds of thousands of recent veterans -- a Invalid Link Removed of the troops who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq -- suffering from service-related disabilities who will require ever more expensive care. No wonder the current combination of special ops, drones, spy games, civilian soldiers, cyberwarfare, and proxy fighters sounds like a safer, saner brand of war-fighting. At first blush, it may even look like a panacea for America’s national security ills. In reality, it may be anything but.
The new light-footprint Obama doctrine actually seems to be making war an ever more attractive and seemingly easy option -- a point emphasized recently by former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Peter Pace. "I worry about speed making it too easy to employ force," Invalid Link Removed when asked about recent efforts to make it simpler to deploy Special Operations Forces abroad. "I worry about speed making it too easy to take the easy answer -- let's go whack them with special operations -- as opposed to perhaps a more laborious answer for perhaps a better long-term solution."
As a result, the new American way of war holds great potential for unforeseen entanglements and serial blowback. Starting or fanning brushfire wars on several continents could lead to raging wildfires that spread unpredictably and prove difficult, if not impossible, to quench.
By their very nature, small military engagements tend to get larger, and wars tend to spread beyond borders. By definition, military action tends to have unforeseen consequences. Those who doubt this need only look back to 2001, when three low-tech attacks on a single day set in motion a decade-plus of war that has spread across the globe. The response to that one day began with a war in Afghanistan, that spread to Pakistan, detoured to Iraq, popped up in Somalia and Yemen, and so on. Today, veterans of those Ur-interventions find themselves trying to replicate their dubious successes in places like Mexico and Honduras, the Central Africa Republic and the Congo.
Invalid Link Removed demonstrates that the U.S. is not very good at Invalid Link Removed, having gone without victory in any major conflict since 1945. Smaller interventions have been a mixed bag with modest victories in places like Panama and Grenada and ignominious outcomes in Lebanon (in the 1980s) and Somalia (in the 1990s), to name a few.
The trouble is, it’s hard to tell what an intervention will grow up to be -- until it’s too late. While they followed different paths, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq all began relatively small, before growing large and ruinous. Already, the outlook for the new Obama doctrine seems far from rosy, despite the good press it’s getting inside Washington’s Beltway.
What looks today like a formula for easy power projection that will further U.S. imperial interests on the cheap could soon prove to be an unmitigated disaster -- one that likely won’t be apparent until it’s too late.

The House Oversight Committee hearings have put both Eric Holder and the White House on their back heels this morning, further fueling a scandal which has now forced the White House into a rear-guard action.
In a move that is certain to fuel speculation about Barack Obama’s knowledge of the Federal government’s clandestine gun-running operation into the Mexican black market, the President has moved to claim ‘executive privilege’ regarding any documents relating to the notorious “Operation Fast and Furious.”
The case has reached a critical juncture as the House panel has finally moved to hold Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in criminal contempt after he failed to comply with official Congressional requests to hand over thousands of cables and documents relating to the scandal.
According to reports this morning from the Invalid Link Removed:
In a letter sent to Obama late Tuesday, Holder urged Obama to exert executive privilege, because sharing internal documents with lawmakers could “have significant, damaging consequences.” Sharing the documents “would inhibit candor of such Executive Branch deliberations in the future and significantly impair the Executive Branch’s ability to respond independently and effectively to congressional oversight,” Holder wrote to Obama.
Last night, the embattled US Attorney General Eric Holder attempted to cut a deal with the House and Senate committees, hoping to walk free in exchange for handing over missing documents – but Holder’s offer was rejected by House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) who plans to move ahead with a motion for contempt.
The Washington Post details Holder’s attempt at a backroom escape from suffering contempt charges:
The attorney general met Tuesday night with leaders of the House oversight committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee in hopes of reaching an agreement that would have Justice hand over requested documents in exchange for the House panel dropping its plans to vote on contempt charges Wednesday.
If the House committee cites Holder for criminal contempt, it would open a process that would require House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) to schedule a floor vote. If passed by the full House, the matter would then move to the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, Ronald C. Machen Jr., who is an employee of the Justice Department.
Holding an Executive Branch official in contempt of Congress is rare, having occurred just four other times in the last three decades.
Since the scandal surfaced back in early 2011, commentators had warning that the gravity of the arms trafficking crimes in question could make ‘Fast and Furious’ this White House’s Watergate moment, and a potentially devastating blow to the flagging Obama during the run-up to this November’s US Presidential election.

Over 120 CIA documents concerning 9/11, Osama bin Laden and counterterrorism were published today for the first time, having been newly declassified and released to the Invalid Link Removed. The documents were released after the NSA pored through the footnotes of the Invalid Link Removed and sent Freedom of Information Act requests.
The material contains much new information about the hunt before and after 9/11 for bin Laden, the development of the drone campaign in AfPak, and al-Qaida’s relationship with America’s ally, Pakistan. Perhaps most damning are the documents showing that the CIA had bin Laden in its cross hairs a full year before 9/11 — but didn’t get the funding from the Bush administration White House to take him out or even continue monitoring him. The CIA materials directly contradict the many claims of Bush officials that it was aggressively pursuing al-Qaida prior to 9/11, and that nobody could have predicted the attacks. “I don’t think the Bush administration would want to see these released, because they paint a picture of the CIA knowing something would happen before 9/11, but they didn’t get the institutional support they needed,” says Barbara Elias-Sanborn, the NSA fellow who edited the materials.
Let’s start there. In 2000 and 2001, the CIA began using Predator Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Afghanistan. “The idea of using UAVs originated in April 2000 as a result of a request from the NSC’s Coordinator for Counterterrorism to the CIA and the Department of Defense to come up with new ideas to go after the terrorists in Afghanistan,” a Invalid Link Removed summarizes. And yet, simultaneously, the CIA declared that budget concerns were forcing it to move its Counterterrorism Center/Osama bin Laden Unit from an “offensive” to a “defensive” posture. It wasn’t too late for the Bush administration, though. It just never did.
Former National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice has taken credit for the drone program that the Bush administration ignored. “Things like working to get an armed Predator that actually turned out to be extraordinarily important, working to get a strategy that would allow us to get better cooperation from Pakistan and from the Central Asians,” she Invalid Link Removed in 2006. “We were not left a comprehensive strategy to fight al-Qaida.” Rice claimed that the Bush administration continued the Clinton administration’s counterterrorism policies, a claim the documents disprove. “If the administration wanted to get it done, I’m sure they could have gotten it done,” says Elias-Sanborn.
Many of the documents publicize for the first time what was first made clear in the 9/11 Commission: The White House received a truly remarkable amount of warnings that al-Qaida was trying to attack the United States. From June to September 2001, a full seven CIA Senior Intelligence Briefs detailed that attacks were imminent, an incredible amount of information from one intelligence agency. One from June called “Bin-Ladin and Associates Making Near-Term Threats” writes that “[redacted] expects Usama Bin Laden to launch multiple attacks over the coming days.” The famous August brief called “Bin Ladin Determined to Strike the US” is Invalid Link Removed. “Al-Qai’da members, including some US citizens, have resided in or travelled to the US for years, and the group apparently maintains a support structure here,” it says.

One last thing is worth mentioning from the documents published today: Anyone with any doubt that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is dangerous to the United States is contradicting U.S. intelligence. “Violence between Israelis and the Palestinians, moreover is making Sunni extremists more willing to participate in attacks against US or Israeli interests,” the CIA Invalid Link Removed in February 2001. Details regarding today’s reports of a Turkish Jet which lost contact with air traffic control over Syrian airspace and crashed into Syrian territorial waters, are still unclear.
It is not know whether the jet was shot down or not, but details surrounding this event in what has become an extremely sensitive region already.
According RT, Turkish President Erdogan “did not confirm reports that Damascus had apologized for shooting down the plane”. Turkey has so far refrained from giving any information the two pilots, who are said to have been rescued earlier. More information is expected to be released after a security meeting scheduled for this evening.
If the West and NATO is to enforce a Libya-style ‘no fly-zone’ in Syria, then Invalid Link Removed to run such an operation. An undercover journalist going by the pseudonym ‘Lee Hazledean’ has blown the whistle on astounding revelations about how he infiltrated the G4S – the company responsible for security at the London Olympics – and discovered shocking plans for the evacuation of London, 200,000 ‘casket linings’ being on standby, along with botched security procedures that leave the Games wide open to attack.
Hazledean’s interview with Tony Gosling, Invalid Link Removed editor and host of BCFM’s Friday Drivetime, has gone viral on the web over the last few days. Hazledean is an undercover journalist for a television program in London and has worked with news agencies on hard-hitting subjects, but when he approached the mainstream media with his bombshell story, they showed no interest.
When Hazledean asked Channel 4 News Home Affairs Correspondent Andy Davies if he would run the story, Davies said he wasn’t interested and days later Channel 4 ran a puff piece about G4S which portrayed the organization as competent and trustworthy.
“I sent him an email, I called, he wasn’t interested and he said there’s a media blackout on this kind of story, that nobody would be interested in running it,” said Hazledean.
In the interview, Hazledean divulges how he merely had to fill in an application form to get a job with G4S, the private company providing security for the Olympics, that he underwent no background check whatsoever, and that his personal references were not checked.
Employees are given just two days of training to run airport-style security checkpoints which include body scanners, which Hazledean said “would be turned off completely” at peak times, meaning terrorists could just walk straight into the event with ammunition or explosives and have an excellent chance of remaining undetected.
“In fact, I was asked to be a would-be terrorist on the final training day and I was given a knife, a gun and an IED, and on all three occasions throughout the day I got through the metal detector and I also got through the x-ray machine scanner,” said Hazledean, adding that terrorists could quite easily stage a “massacre” given the lax nature of the security.
“They’re not training them properly…it’s quite open to a terrorist attack very easily and I don’t say that lightly,” said Hazledean, adding that he witnessed G4S members doing drug deals while training classes were taking place, while others were taking surveillance photos on their cellphones of supposedly secure areas. Hazledean said a lot of the security staff were poorly qualified and that many of them could barely speak English.
Hazledean also revealed how the large contingent of soldiers being brought into London for the Olympic Games included “a lot of UN troops being posted in and around London,” including American and German troops.
The whistleblower also revealed how unauthorized personnel were being handed G4S uniforms and that uniforms had been stolen.
Hazledean’s most chilling revelation was how he learned about preparations to evacuate London and how, “The security guards used for the Olympics will be at the forefront of getting the public out of London.”
“They seem quite serious about it, they’ve spent a lot of time on this,” said Hazledean, noting how G4S spent two hours talking about the evacuation of London in comparison to just half an hour talking about security screening procedures for the Olympics itself.
The whistleblower also noted how the 100,000 plus troops that would be stationed in London during the Olympics would be enough to carry out such a large scale evacuation.
Another chilling facet Hazledean learned was that 200,000 casket linings (temporary coffins) were being shipped in to London that can hold four bodies each. The whistleblower expressed his amazement at why security guards working on mundane screening procedures would need to be told such information.
The whistleblower also revealed how he was told Predator drones would be circling London in readiness for terrorist attacks, and that G4S employees were shown a video of a drone killing a group of people in Afghanistan.
Hazledean noted how G4S leaders saw the public as “the scum of the earth” and also told their employees that the police had no authority over them. He also related how one of the leaders told him that an event after the Olympics would be a “defining moment” for London but when pressed, refused to divulge what she meant.
Hazledean is not the first to blow the whistle on G4S. Earlier this month, Invalid Link Removedthat she was fired by G4S after complaining that G4S was cutting corners in their security preparations for the Olympics and that she herself had not been vetted.
Speaking with Infowars, Hazledean said that he had been making contingency plans for if his life was put in danger or if he became a target for the authorities in any other way after blowing the whistle on the scandal.

Even a 5 year old child being home schooled can say why the Affordable Heath care act is unconstitutional. So-called anti-corporate crusader Michael Moore reacted with glee to the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Obamacare, despite the fact that the bill was written primarily by the very insurance companies Moore claims to oppose.
Appearing on MSNBC’s The Last Word With Laurence O’Donnell, Moore said the Supreme Court decision was “a great victory” and should be met with “loud cheers throughout the country,” despite the fact that the Invalid Link Removed
Although Moore admits in the interview, “The private, run for profit insurance companies are still running the show,” he failed to acknowledge that big corporations actually wrote the foundation for the entire Obamacare bill.

And who wrote that 87-page white paper? Threatens to veto bill unless it hikes health care fees for service members

The Obama administration on Friday threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill in part because it does not include higher health care fees for members of the military.
“The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation,” the White House wrote in an Invalid Link Removed expressing opposition to the bill, which Invalid Link Removed.

Now that Obamacare has been ruled a tax by the U.S. Supreme Court, reality is starting to sink in for all those who emotionally supported it. Promoted as a way to provide either free health care or low-cost health care to the masses, the sobering reality is that under Obamacare, health insurance prices keep rising, not falling. That’s no surprise, of course, since the Obamacare legislation was practically written by the health insurance companies, and they sure didn’t put their weight behind a sweeping new law that would earn them less profit.

In an era when the so-called “99%” are sick and tired of being exploited by the one percent who control everything, they just handed their medical futures over to precisely the one percent who skillfully monopolize the conventional health care system!
Obamacare is, at every level, a huge victory for the one percent.
A costly new tax on the middle class
By the year 2016, the Obamacare “penalty” tax will reach roughly $2,000 per year for a two-person household. According to Stephen Moore of the Wall Street Journal, 75% of the financial burden of Obamacare’s new taxes will fall onto Americans making less than $120,000 a year (Invalid Link Removed). The great Middle Class, in other words, will bear this new tax more than anyone else.
In effect, what has really happened here is a great swindle: Obama got the middle class to support his legislation by promising it was NOT a tax, and by promising it would LOWER health insurance costs. In reality, however, it RAISES health insurance costs, it IS a tax, and the majority of that tax burden falls squarely on the very same middle-class voters who put Obama into office under false pretenses. That’s a swindle, by any definition.
Not surprisingly, this realization doesn’t sit well with many middle class taxpayers. While the original emotional appeal of Obamacare was nicely packaged and seductively marketed to the masses, the sobering, post-honeymoon reality slaps us all in the face like a wet fish: Smack! This thing is another huge tax increase on the working class! And on top of that, it gives the IRS scary new powers to pry into our private finances. How did you all think compliance with Obamacare was going to be enforced, anyway? It’s going to empower the IRS with even more agents!
Government monopoly for Big Pharma
Even worse than the trillions in new taxes and the IRS spy grid that’s now being set up to monitor compliance with Obamacare, there’s also the sobering fact that Obamacare never even attempted to give consumers a free choice in their health care providers. There’s no coverage of naturopathic medicine, herbal medicine, acupuncture or nutritional therapies. The entire law is written around — and for — Big Pharma and the conventional “sick care” industry that’s best described as a “medical racket.”
Thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court, we don’t even have a chance to opt out of this corrupt, failed system of patented chemical medications and overpriced surgical procedures. Now, we are forced to hand over our hard-earned money to the very same medical system that we already know is responsible for killing over 750,000 Americans a year. It’s called “iatrogenic death,” and it means death by health care.
So not only are we being chemically abused and medically enslaved in America, we are now financially forced to pay for the privilege of being raked over the coals by the medical establishment. It makes you wonder… where is the “care” in Obamacare?
But wait, there’s more! From this position of being coerced by the government to pay for a system of medicine you don’t even want, it’s not much of a leap to being coerced to undergo medical procedures you don’t want, either.
How Obamacare will lead to mandatory vaccinations for everyone
Forced vaccinations — for adults! — are on the way, friends. And here’s why: Once everybody is “in the system” of mandatory health care, we will begin to hear arguments like this:
“Anyone who refuses to get vaccinated against influenza is thereby at risk of being an influenza carrier and infecting other people, thus increasing health care costs for us all. To save money, government must force everyone to get vaccinated!”
It’s a false argument, of course, but it will be used to literally line people up at courthouses (with the threat of arrest and jail time) and force them all to be vaccinated against their will.
The same false logic can be used to force people to undergo chemotherapy, take AIDS drugs, undergo coronary bypass surgery or be subjected to almost any medical procedure deemed “necessary” by the government. In the realm of mental health and psychiatry, this opens up a Pandora’s Box of exploitation of patients for the purpose of raking in record profits for the criminally-operated psychiatric drug industry.
Such is the inevitable abuse of monopolistic market practices enforced by a corrupt government that serves the interests of its corporate masters: Once the sick care industry has this monopoly and can force everyone to participate, they will exploit that advantage to its fullest profiteering capacity.
Remember: It is the dream of every corporation to dominate the world. Obamacare just gave Big Pharma and the other sick care giants huge monopolistic cheats to pursue precisely that goal.
Sober up, America
In a time when consumers are increasingly demanding transparency, free choice and the ability to shop around for competitive bargains, Obamacare codifies secrecy, mandatory compliance and monopolistic practices.
Maybe it’s time to sober up and take an honest look at what Obamacare really is instead of what Obama promised it would be. People bought into the dream, but what they actually received was a monumental swindle.

First of all, who told you I do all my research on the internet? You have no idea who I am. I have no idea who you are. Your discrediting yourself anyways since your on the net trying to inform me, its really silly. Do I use internet sources? Yes, I try since we are on the internet so we have to understand the situation here. There is alot of deception out there, both corporate media and goverment are always infiltrating the net with disinformation. Zbigniew Brzezinski Jimmy Carters NSA has admitted in 1998 that the the Mujahadeen later morphed both into Al Queda and the Taliban and that it was an "excellent idea" even though the civil war cost the lives of 400,000.
Al-Queda was used by the CIA historicity to take down regimes such as Bosnia and Kosovo...but this doesnt have to be some silly "conspiracy accusation" we see this as recent as Lybia, look how after it was claimed a success by Obama all the Al Queda flags were flown all over Tripoli as they were slaughtering all the Black Africans. There is much more evidence than these flags, I already knew they were in there about a year before the media even covered a drop of information to the public about an uprising.

Bus passengers were treated like terrorists and passing cars detained for hours as bomb squads, police and sniffer dogs descended on the M6 Motorway in England today. The culprit for this huge “terror scare” turned out to be an electronic cigarette.
“The evacuation of a coach on the M6 toll road which caused long tailbacks on one of the country’s busiest roads was a terror scare caused by the smoke vapour from an electronic cigarette, police have revealed,” Invalid Link Removed
Footage of the aftermath of the incident shows bus passengers being treated like terrorists and lined up on the motorway.
“Aerial footage from the scene revealed that the passengers – including women and children – were sitting within a square enclosure at regular distances from each other surrounded by uniformed officers. Several other cordoned-off areas could be seen, with bright yellow tents erected on the other side of the toll plaza.”
Drivers of passing cars that had nothing to do with the incident were also detained by police for an hour and a half.
“Witnesses told the BBC that cars were stopped on the M6 toll road and left without information from the police for around 90 minutes.
When they began getting out of their cars a police officer informed them to get back in their vehicles, keep the windows closed and the air conditioning off. The cars were then led away from the scene,” states the report.
In a colossal waste of everyone’s time and money, eight fire engines and six police vans arrived in addition to bomb disposal experts and teams of sniffer dogs.
A passenger on the bus – presumably browbeaten by the constant drumbeat of propaganda surrounding “terrorist threats” to London – originally witnessed “vapour escaping from a bag” and reported it to police as a possible unfolding terrorist attack.
Police later admitted that the whole event was in response to a “health improvement aid for smokers” – otherwise known as an e-cigarette, a fake cigarette that releases water vapour instead of smoke.
This is an outrageous example of the fearmongering and hysteria that has gripped Britain in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.
God forbid if the cigarette had actually been real – imagine the panic! One wonders whether Prime Minister David Cameron would have had to assemble his Cobra team and declare a national emergency.
This kind of frothing over-reaction is precisely what governments crave in order to create a society based on fear, paranoia and constant suspicion.
In reality, Invalid Link Removed, people in the west are more likely to die from bee stings or drowning in their own bathtubs than they are in terrorist attacks.
