Anyone recomnend a brand?
Low/No mercury too
I need a serious break from all the dang cooking I do.
"light" canned tuna is supposed to have less mercury than "white".
I think about 3 times less on average.
Starkist has a "starkist selects very low sodium chunk white albacore" tuna
35mg sodium per serving. That's as good as I've ever seen. I'm probably going to get some now that I located it on the web, wasn't aware before this thread reminded me why I don't eat tuna
35mg is low for a can of tuna. i need to look for that.
also, rinsing the tuna as mentioned above does help some.
You could look into cilantro as a natural mercury chelator.. Regularly eating cilantro pesto for example would help decontaminate your body. My mouth is filled with amalgam fillings so..I don't believe there is a tuna out there that is "low mercury". That's the downside of eating such a delicious fish.

I've been eating some every other day to test the effects.. I'm not sure yet, but I think I wake up a little more clear in my head.. A little more focussed.. Not sure (yet) though..Read the samething about cilantro..appearently it works
