Question for people w/ degree in Kinesiology & Exercise Science and related fields.

Whats up guys… I'm currently a senior in high school and trying to plan out my future. I definitely want to get into the Health/ Exercise field because it's what i love to do, and i'm currently studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer. I want an associates degree, so i'm wondering which major would be the best route to go and what career paths i could take with it. I'm currently thinking about exercise science.
 
A PT cert doesn't require any degree, but, if you want to go beyond that, you'll need at least a Bachelor's and, preferably, a Master's. Almost all college and pro sports teams require at least a BS and a CSCS cert with a Master's preferred.
 
Ok, i realize Personal Training requires no degree, all i have to do is take a test and i'll be Certified, hopefully within a couple months! Anyways, would an associates in exercise science even be worth it then? If i did choose to pursue it, what career possibilities do you think i'd have?

Ok so if i go for a bachelors what job opportunities could i expect? And scheduling.. would a part-time job be acquirable? What degree would you recommend, Exercise Science and Kinesiology?

Opportunities depend on what you actually want to do, if you do an internship, where you're located, etc., but don't expect them. Having a degree and a certification does not mean you should expect a job. As far as the actual degree, the university has their own title; some are kinesiology and others are exercise science. That part doesn't matter too much, but most of them also require a minor.
