Cheat Day?

During my prep i was card cycling low days were 1400 cals 125ish g carbs, high were 1900 cals 250g (approx don't remember exact) every other Saturday I ahd a refeed that consisted of:

1 pkg poptarts
theater size box mike n ike's during WO
guacamole bacon cheddar burger
couple happy hippos
pb & j sandwich
big frozen yogurt with lots of candy and other goodies in it
plus a few of my regular meals

That prep was the best and most consistent drops ever 14 weeks 146 to 125 with no change to the diet and 60 min cardio 6 days

well I guess it took a woman to teach these boys how to refeed/cheat like a MAN........LOL :D

I re feed everyday

a non wise refeed from my experience

Wake up have pancakes (low fat) and a small shake.

post workout have a small shake, 2 BOXES of gushers, 1 bag of peppermint patties

1 box fruity pebbles
1 box raisen bran (i think this is where i went wrong haha)
1 box frosted mini wheats

All you can eat sushi

Bag of skittles.

i believe that the raisen bran did me in for the next 3 days..

pssssssh. That entire day is like half of one meal for me...lol

And this isn't all of it..lol

What's the theory behind this refeed? ^ that?

i think if more people weren't so trivial about the everyday lifestyle of a "bodybuilder" it would be alittle more fun and enjoyable, i randomly throw "cheat" foods in my diet with no adverse effect on my training/diet..

Okay when it comes to this refeed,
1.Are you working out on the day your "cheating" or doing cardio at all? And also,
2.The next day, your jumping right back into your diet corrrect? One last question
3.How often were you "refeeding? Once a week?
Thanks :-)

It shouldn't effect you as much. I would actually do your cheat before your workout. Usually a chest will be a meal with more carbs. Eat it, then burn it off with a crazy intense workout. Thats just my opinion though.

1 yes it was leg day i had a just a happy hippo before WO, the mike n ikes during WO and the rest PWO, no cardio since it was leg day
2. yep next day right back on plan
3 every 2 weeks

I just saw the thread title.
I had red velvet cake for breakfast, and I don't regret it at all.
Lmao a cheat meal every now and then will keep you sane while cutting. Haha

That's the best time to have it.

You can indulge in a high-calorie-tasting, but low-calorie, treat. This should help keep you from feeling deprived and binging on higher-calorie foods. For instance:

Lobster. Just 83 calories in 3 ounces.
Shrimp. Just 60 calories in 12 large.
Smoked salmon. Just 66 calories in two ounces. Sprinkle with capers for an even more elegant treat.
Whipped cream. Just 8 calories in one tablespoon. Drop a dollop over a bowl of fresh fruit for dessert.
