Best time to pin?

Curious as to when is the best time to pin is. Whats more beneficial?night before lift day or morning of lift day with evening/midday workout? Does it depend on what your cycle consists of? For instance I'm taking test-e, since its slower acting would it be better to inject night before the beginning of my weekly routine?
 
I don't think there is a "best" time. I would be more concerned with being consistent with the time. I usually shower before or after training and then inject. It always comes after showering. I like to heat up my body before injecting. But my injection times are pretty much the same time or within 2-3 hours.
 
Not what I meant really. Was talkin more in retrospect to a workout routine not a daily hygiene schedule.

Seriously? Have you done research and seen that it is a good idea after a shower since your muscles are nice and loose from the hot water. It was more to do with the injection itself than hygiene.
 
set up a schedule and pin, and stick to it. it's not a preworkout, it's test. there's no added benefit to pinning before a workout.
 
I know it's not a preworkout I was thinking that it may be optimal to hit the weights when test levels are highest after injection. So I was wondering if I injected the night before and it had a chance to absorb that come next days lift my test levels would be higher then if I did it the morning or my first lift day during the week. Trying to take advantage of the cycle in every aspect including timing.

Personally, I think you're over analyzing this way too much. Just get on a set schedule and inject yourself. You will get stronger over time. Do not expect to inject yourself for the first time in the cycle and then go to them gym in full beast mode.
 
the only benefit you would get from pinning pre WO is to workout that muscle pined. you wont get nearly as sore if you pin your glute and than do squats and leg presses.

pin delt, do shoulder presses

It was a question out of curiosity. If nobody has an informative answer ,which so far they haven't , then I'll stick by predetermined Schedule I already abide by. I see nothing wrong with asking alot of questions when it comes to injecting substances in your own body. The only dumb question is one not asked. You never know what you may find out new by voicing your curiousities. In fact you'll never learn anything new if you're never curious. I've wasted time in the past learning the hard way by experience. Looking back I could have gained much more headway if i had sought more answers. At 34 I don't give a $hit , if I have a question I think makes sense I'm gonna ask, and if I don't get an answer I'll ask again and/or continue researching until I do ;-)

Yea I did that last week , helped alot. Was only slightly sore for a day but nothing bothersome. Went into my thigh today, didn't really hurt but now I feel like someone punched me in the leg. I think I like delts better. Seems to me a smaller muscle is easier to sooth after injection then a large leg muscle.

Never said it was a dumb, just something that was being over analyzed.

I've noticed this too. I'm 10 weeks into my first cycle and have been rotating between quad, chest, and delt injections. Chest and delts no longer get sore, but quads I still feel it for 3-4 days after. Nothing too bad, but I notice it. If you haven't tried chest yet, give that a go!
 
Haven't tried chest , any cramping after? sounds a bit gnarly but ill end up doin it. Only thing is i inject on Monday's and that's the day I like to work chest. I'd hate to catch a horrible cramp with 275 above my head on the bar. But then again I wouldn't have much to worry bout after. J/k Lol ! *splat!*

No cramping! I actually inject Sunday's before chest and never had a problem, I've also injected after. Once when I injected after, I didn't come out completely straight and must have nicked a vein. Just a little more blood than usual, but nothing squirting or major. Also, I had muscle spasms once, but I just withdrew the needle and found a new spot.

I would actually suggest doing the injection pre workout with your first couple times for chest. It helps with the soreness. The first time I injected there it felt like I had an insane chest workout the next day; very tight.
 
i get where you are going with this. i have never done the research on it since i havnt injected before, but im curious as to when your test levels spike / reach their peak after you inject. anybody know? cause technically that would be the best time to workout right? or am i also just overthinking this?

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Im looking at the body on AAS as a race car with a full tank of 110 octane fuel at the beginning of the week that is topped of everyday with regular unleaded. Yes thru out the week your still running a higher octane in your car but it is slowly diluted towards the end of the week. So the best performance you would get would be during those high octane rich days right? I wanted to see if anyone had information that would prove this. When put into an analogy like that it makes sense, but is the analogy correct? Yeah it's looking into it pretty far but hell why not if others can better performance no matter how slight with better timing?!
 
i got curious and started reading a few posts on other forums and such. it seems it varies greatly from person to person. some have seen it peak after 24 hours, others up to 48 hours. so i guess its really just dependent on your body and how it reacts. blood tests after injections would be the only real way to know where you are at during the week. so i guess, if you pinned on monday, have your blood taken tuesday, wednesday, and thursday and see which is highest.
