1-(thiophen-2-yl)-2-methylaminopropane - New Potent Stimulant?

A college buddy of mine apparently bought these "study" pills from some frat guy who's been slanging them to everyone on campus. They came in a white bottle with some crappy paper label and they had some lame ass name. Anyway he popped one, and 30 minutes later he was DESTROYING a sociology essay, I have never seen this guy so focused or sound so eloquent. Kind of scary from one pill.

Anyway I looked at the ingredients label, same ol' "proprietary blend" BS, but I wrote this tidbit on a piece of paper before I left:

"1-(thiophen-2-yl)-2-methylaminopropane"

Does anyone know if this might be the active, or just filler crap next to the caffeine and D,L-Phenylalanine?

And if it is active WHERE DO I GET IT lol.
