HRT question

I am a disabled vet and have a traumatic brain injury (tbi). The DR at the VA says it caused my low T. I would say i agree its a long story so my question is my last estrodiol test was high 90. The DR says its ok and won't give me a estrogen blocker. Anything natural i can do. Can't find many DRs to take me just to get blockers. Any help would be great.

I find this common with people I have ran across with. With VA its pull teeth just to get them to look at estrodial. "estrodial is a female hormone, and it has no importance in a men" This is the typical response I get from these vets. If you are on medicare then I could provide you testing which is 100% covered which will give more information then you ever known about a person. I have a few Vets doing this testing now and are making improvements in different areas. I have been in contact rep with neuroscience and looking to possible getting a pilot study for soldiers coming back with PTSD from iraq. I am already working with a few now. You would not believe what were some of their underlying cause of their problems. ITs crazy...

I would be a part of the study if it would lower my estrodial i did get a call from the VA Dr. She wants to take my mid-cycle level to see about lowering my t-cyp shot, (not my favorite option) or give me a blocker. Sounds to good to be true.

Standard protocol is 50-60 mgs of T, 2 times weekly splite m,th this should help with e2 issues. Then get her to an AI in you be good to go.

Thanks for the advice i am just happy that realize the problem. Many of my fellow veterans are still fighting the battle. I just hope she will see it my way.

Also do you know of anyone in the Kansas city MO metro who you would consider good.
NO one in missouri, but there is Dr john in michagen might be a better choice or I have a guy in Ok who I have referred people too as well.

Can you send me contact info for the DR in ok. Thanks for the help.

Be glad to as he takes the integrative approach same as functional medicine Dr's do by looking at the whole issues as well as hidden external factors.
