Please Help, What Is Going On With My Body/Test Results?

Alight, so ever since I started an antibiotic (Doxycycline Hyclate for 7 weeks) from a doctor, I have been suddenly hit with a handful of symptoms. Now I'm not sure if the antibiotic had anything to do with it or if this was just timing. I have been off the antibiotic for over 3 weeks now. Here are my symptoms:

- Very low sex drive.
- No more morning erections or random erections.
- My orgasms have gotten very weak/short. Also the cum just sort of falls out.
- I have Varicocele left-sided symptoms: Sore Chord, Dragging Testicle, Sore Left Lower Abs & Hips.
- When Urologists checked it, they said they couldn't really feel much of a Varicocele. But the chord was dilated. (Getting scans checked today.)
- They did confirm an Epidemical Cyst on my left side.
- I feel much better laying down.
- Standing up my penis gets tiny and numb-ish
- My heart has also been feeling weird. If I get excited it starts beating very heavily. Also when I lay down for a long time, especially on my left side it gets irritated. When I sit up, it goes away.

Here are my test results taken at 8:30am, also I am 24 year old:

LH - 6.1 mIU/mL (1.7-8.6)
FSH - 3.4 mIU/mL (1.5-12.4)
Testosterone - 707 ng/dL (249-836)
Free-T (Direct) - 11 pg/mL (9.3-26.5)
Dihydrotestosterone - 53 ng/dL
Pregnenolone, MS - 239 ng/dL (<151)
Prolactin - 16.6 ng/mL (4.0-15.2 HIGH)
Progesterone - 0.8 ng/mL (.2-1.4)
Estrogen - 40 pg/mL (40-115)
TSH - 5.830 uIU/mL (.450-4.5 HIGH)
Thyroxine (T4) - 6.9 ug/dL (4.5-12.0)
T3 Uptake - 36 % (24-36)
Free Thyroxine Index - 2.5 (1.2-4.9)
T4, Free (Direct) - 1.38 ng/dL (0.82-1.77)
Cortisol - 14.2 ug/dL (2.3-19.4)
Triiodothyronine, Free, Serum - 2.9 pg/mL (2.0-4.4)

What are your guys thoughts? I have some ideas, but I am no pro so I'll let you guys draw your own conclusions, and tell me what you think. Thanks a lot!!!

Secondary hypothyroidism (high tsh, high prolactin) which may be mainly due to adrenal insufficiency from intestinal dysbiosis from possibly the antibiotics or some other hidden stress. This whole reaction can be resulting in low dopamine out come from the thyroid increasing prolactin which lowers dopamine why your pecker is not working properly.

I see this a lot in common cases which starts nasty chain reaction

WOW THANKS! I think the dysbiosis is it! After 3 months of research my first break! ha

Because as soon as I started the antibiotics they were very very hard on my stomach. I even found stuff saying some antibiotic can cause dysbiosis.

- How should I fix the dysbiosis? Is there a way to get checked for it?

- Should I look into taking anything to help control hypothyroidism? Or just fix concentrate on the dysbiosis for now?

- Also what are normal DHT levels?

- My varicocele symptoms have been feeling better, but still no libido. Which is explained by the test result. I'm going to my scans looked into further, and if he saw nothing the doctor said he would do another scan after I had been standing up for a whole day. But I am starting to rule this out because since the majority of people that have Varicocele are hit with low testosterone.

Can't thank you enough. 3 different doctors have told me it was just in my head. Literally I have been researching this forever, I knew that the antibiotic did something to me. I am pretty confident this dysbiosis is it!
 
Had 7 years research, 4000 hours working under.medical supervision designing patients protocols does account for something ya know..lol

ha yeah, well I appreciate it. I'm going to get tested for dysbiosis tomorrow. what are your thoughts on a good DHT level? And should I look into taking anything to help control hypothyroidism? Or just fix concentrate on the dysbiosis for now.

Your focusing on something at this point is irrelevent (DHT). Your going to get tested for dysbiosis tomorrow, unless they are doing proper testing you are wasting your time. If you take a poop test from lab corp or quest you are wasting your time. There testing is no where near sensitive to catch barely anything. You be a fool to screw with thyroid till other issue not addressed. You really need some one who knows what they are doing or you going to be spending 6 months to a year undoing every thing you did.
 
oh I was just wondering about the DHT out of curiosity.

But what do you recommend for dysbiosis testing?

Because I'm pretty sure they will use labcorp. Thanks again!

And sorry one other thing, I was looking into starting allergy shots due to bad outdoor allergies. Any reason I should wait on starting these? I have some mucus going down my throat into my stomach so I figure they could help?

Allergies in many causes may be signs or adrenal imbalances,
The fact of having simple allergies may be enough to cause an acute stress response resulting in a sudden shock to the body as well as possible lowering testosterone as a result. What came first cart or the horse?
I would hold off on testing in order to get further data through saliva testing which can be done through lab corp (4 point) HIGHLY SUGGESTED
Lab corp stool testing is not sensitive enough unless from a recent exposure. I had worms and all kinds of crap in my stool they did not find nothing. 9 months later and 100 lbs of muscle loss, labeled a hypochondriac I had another stool sample taken at another labs I had 8 different pathogenic bacteria, but my system was too far gone to fight them off. This resulted in full shut down of HPTA.

Regarding the allergies, I've had bad outdoor allergies my whole life. But I recently stopped taking my Claritin-D for them because I found out it can contribute to a low-libido. I used to take it as needed, and right now my fall allergies have hit. Also they're probably bad do to these issues as well. But before any of these issues about 7 month ago, I had a dr. test me and recommend shots. I was going to start them, then these issues came up.

Possible Simple solution to allergies,
Goto health food store or local bee keeper, by getting local honey (<40 miles radius) you have one of natures most powerful anti allergy remedy. This works incredible well, My girl friend who has been on claritan d and other allergy medicine all her life no longer needs it because of the honey. IT MUST BE LOCAL due to the pollenation in your area.
 
Low thyroid function (Primary Hypothyroidism). Can lead to elevated prolactin but so can other factors. Minocycline can affect thyroid directly - doxycycline doing the same thing is not unheard of. Possible dysbiosis from antibiotic can affect thyroid hormone metabolism, exacerbating underlying hypothyroidism.

Hypothyroidism decreases release of dopamine. Dopamine inhibits prolactin. Low dopamine affects libido etc. These are some possibilities but in any case, there is an inverse relationship between dopamine and prolactin.

Blood flow and pressure should be assessed.

4 is nothing average till you get any progression is about 10-12 LOL
What came first the cart or the horse? I think it was stress related with adrenals causing cellular thyroid deficiency your TSH is possible indicating that.
 
Ha thanks I won't let up. My life was generally stress free. I would consider myself a very happy/blessed person, then this chain of events:

1. Start Antibiotics
2. Low libido and energy followed.
3. Then my heart slowly started feeling funny.
4. After seeing the 4th doctor with no help, I started feeling stressed and lost a lot of happiness. I felt helpless.
5. After getting advice on this forum, my stress started decreasing. I start feeling positive about the situation again.

Right now, I have learned I don't have a varicocele. And I am waiting on my stomach test result.

Start simple and work towards more sophisticated assessments from there if necessary - blood pressure cuff, pulse oximeter, rule out orthostatic hypotension etc.

Hypothyroidism can affect the entire body in many ways. Thyroid hormones act on virtually every cell you can think of - that is how important it is. There is a well known association between hypothyroidism and cardiovascular risk factors. There might also simply be a metabolic issue involved in your symptoms i.e. the ability to produce adequate energy. Your heart requires a lot of energy like any muscle. These can and should all be checked by your doc.

Blood pressure Should have been done in the one of the 4 dr he had gone too.

The doctor gave me the stool test and it turned out negative for "calmid/candid", I'm not sure if that covers dysbiosis. He didn't know what dysbiosis was, I think I was pronouncing it wrong. How can I get the saliva test myself? They just did a stool, kind of though it was going to be a saliva test.

Also another thing pointing to stomach problems, I've just realized that I've had loose stool ever since the issues started.

Regarding the heart, they did take my blood pressures. Nurse said everything was good, but was like "your heart is kind of quite." Not sure if that even means anythings.

Most stools are negative for candida. Why i use other ways to measure it indirectly, through urine or blood.
I suspect there are probably pathogenic bacteria down in your GI tract, or hyplori which showing up more commonly. When it comes to the gut I am very well knowledgeable in this area. I hold little faith in certain labs when it comes to stool samples especially when they are through standard testing sites.
 
HUGE breakthrough, so I started eating 4 yogurts a day with live cultures and after 2 days I feel almost 100% better!

Wow, now I am pretty sure this is stomach related. But bad news is I read that I should wait 14 days to after eating anything like this to get retested.

Is there any chance I could fix this myself? Or should stop again and get retested then seek prescription drugs?

Sometimes its something so simply over looked and not hormone related at all. I would just go by symptoms, I would look to making home made kefir with kernals not starter packs. It contains about 1 trillion probiotics live in 1 quart. I make it every day. With yogurt I would be concern with inflammation from diary products. I would swtich to cocconut yogurt instead just to play safe with the chance of inflammation. You did not fix just rebalanced the body and it will do it on its own. I have been preaching this for many many years, but people are finally starting to wake up to its not always hormonally related. The first thing in any case is I go after the GI tract, thyroid adrenals, an neurotransmitter, then immune system. Finally I recommending adjusting hormones as last wave. In some cases for people to feel better one may use testosterone to help one heal and to get them feeling better so they can function untill other issues are resolved. When all lights are green then try a restart.

Thanks, I tried some VSL #3 a probiotic supplement, and no luck. But I just order a probiotic that has the same strains as the Yogurt that worked wonders for me.

What are your thoughts on Biotin? I started supplementing it. I heard it can help because low probiotics lead to low Biotin.

biotin can actually increase testosteorne and works with LH. Biotin also gets depleted by candida. VSl#3 is a waste of money unless you have U colitis. Biotin keeps yeast from mutating into candida. It also helps great for people who are insulin issues . 5,000 mcg will not hurt some people with methylation issue need 20 mgs a day. You are still patching the holes and not resolving the issue at the core.

So do you consider finding a good Probiotic will resolve the issue at the core? Any recommendation to test? I couldn't find anything on "kefir with kernals"

I'm not sure if body responds best to the stains in the yogurt or because it is fresher?

When you stop because.mucosa is not healed you will.revert back to where you where. Yogurt is crap read ingredients sugar, milk last ingredients is.the probiotic .again its a banded effect as i see in many people.who have a break through then crash and burn. This is why i am good at what i do because i have been there myself so i know ..fix no.temporary banded yes..

Yes stool sample from Dr is not going to show nothing you are wasting your time. Parasitology center arizona. If not out of country on foreign travel then get the swab test done. Other wise out of country then get CSA.

Thank you very much. I'll stop the probiotics for 2 weeks, then get tested.

Should I stop the biotin as well? Anything else I should stay away form the get the most accurate results?

Any kind of herbs which may be anti parasitic as well as a lot of garlic or prebiotics as well as probiotics. I am actually revamping my protocols for GI tract to be more aggressive with better response then ever. After speaking to some of the brilliant minds in the field, with a few minor tweaks of pre-existing protocols it will make all the difference. Medicine is always constant changing field which new information comes out each day.

The real challenge is whether you can sustain the benefit. My experience with dysbiosis is that things tend to adapt to whatever change and you end up back where you started. The latest research on yogurt is that it doesn't really shift the flora that much and it reverts within 2 weeks of stopping. But it does shift the nutrient processing and may have other effects as well. I wish we understood this better.

What made you think of getting tested for STDs and which ones? What were you given the antibiotics for in the first place?
 
I think I got a yeast infection from the prolonged antibiotics. I don't think I'm going to be able to make the 14 days off probiotics. My left leg and knee has started to become irritated as well. (Same side as irritated testicle.)

I am probably going to get a stool/blood test done on Monday via LabCorp. I am worried going longer may do permeant damage to my ****.

Any input is appreciated... Thanks for the support.

Wish you best of luck my friend, Probiotics may help but you may need to look to other factors. You think little yogurt (2 billion bactreria if you are lucky) is going to do people good with probiotics they are mistaken. I can probably estimate a round of antibiotics probably wipes out about close to a triilion or more good bacteria. Why I revamped my approach for dealing with these type of cases to a more aggressive approach. Medicine is always constantly changing field, one needs to stay on top of things. Since my time is spent researching cases for Dr's tracking down the experts of specific fields to find the lastest cutting edge information you do learn a lot.
 
Thanks, yeah I ordered that test kit. I'm going to try to go 5 day without probiotics and see if anything comes up. I figure if things get so painful I can't walk something should turn up.

When I took the test before my body had a bunch of probiotics in it, and that is probably part of the reason why nothing showed up.

If I do have a yeast infection how to do recommend treating it?

Since you have some knowledge in probiotics and I have talked to you in the past what do you think about this one: Invalid Link Removed ?
I have been eating yogurt to help with some constipation/backed up problems and the yogurt has always helped. However when I stop the yogurt I start to get backed up again. This pill seems to have the same active cultures as the yogurt I eat would it serve the same function? (Sorry to hijack the thread OP lol)

One can only try it some time it.may.be something else in the yogurt which.may.be triggering it. Try it what you got to loose. I am actually going to use protocol on my self to see if i can get same effect as antibiotics. I see have some.issues with being back.up but i know.its.from 3 strands of gram negative bacteria. If i get rid if these naturally for.myself t will be a huge step to helping other people in the same boat
