DHEA to fight adrenal fatigue?

Hey guys, i'm still reading about it but
I came across several articles talking about DHEA helping with adrenal fatigue.
Anyone has any experience of using that for this purpose?

Would 7 keto (topical at this point) be more effective? I'm solely speaking about
adrenals, not about the possible anabolic effects of it.

I know DHEA converts to estrogen compared to 7 keto, but that's about it
because I've never used neither DHEA or 7keto..

thanks!

I personally would just for 7-keto or any other 7-DHEA. I really don't know anything though.

DHEA and it's metabolites perform differently. There appears to be evidence that DHEA would be useful in individuals with adrenal deficiency and other disorders. Whats your main interest here?

Thanks man,
main interest would be that, adrenal fatigue (due to training, diet etc..)
doesn't really seem to be diagnosed officially, I might have some symptoms,
sometimes i wake up tired even if I had enough sleep, been dieting for a long ass time,
went thru a very stressful period, training has been hardcore without any breaks at all
for years, hence stims have been used in higher and higher dose with no breaks..
I wanted to try to break the circle, lay off on stims try to clean/reset my system a bit
since lately stress level went down, it seems a good moment to try to clean/reset my system,
I read about DHEA and wondered if anyone used it and found benefits for this particular task,
and if so, if there are sides I should be watching out for

Don't dabble with DHEA because you suspect adrenal issues, find out if you have them first.

Get a 24 hour salivary ASI test. You will get DHEA and cortisol graphs plotting your readings based on 4 measurements taken at different times of the day.

Go from there.

FWIW, I took some adrenal fatigue caps from my local No Name Nutrition about 2 months ago. I cut out my pre-workout and caffeine in generally while on it. It sucked at first, but at months end, I felt a lot better. I started using caffeine again and to this day, my pre workout kicks my ass. Take it for what it's worth, but if I can feel my pre kicking in and lasting for hours after my workout still to this date, my receptors where clearly cleaned out and I feel a lot better.

ginseng and rhodolia and vitamin C, should help.

DHEA is a major adrenal hormone so it takes some pressure off adrenals. honestly 25mg per day wont hurt.

a high antioxident level will help with sensitivity to stimulants..... doesnt help in your case bc your not sensitive to them. but it may be a diminishing returns maybe try some added anti oxidants.

I forgot to ask, where did you get your Recompadrol from?

I emailed LBF ages ago (in the process of switching names) and they said there were no EU distributors.

P.S., transdermal magnesium is good stuff. Amongst others, Mike Mahler reported using it with great success and had his DHEA levels measured.

Yep, another user here advice me on that and I read a bit about it, bought a whole lot last night
it's on is way here already, seems really good stuff, enough to make it a staple even when balance is restored.
I'll report how that works, it seems to have many benefits
