1 arm DB bent over row: one side stronger than the other

Hey guys

quick question, I am going into a very nice strength increase phase
and I noticed on DB bent over row exercise that my right side is
slightly stronger than the other, now, I've never experienced such "discrepancy" before
(in 15 years of training) on any muscle/side/limbs, and I'm not sure what to do.

I was doing the DB row leaning on the - inclined - bench before (es. right side training, left knee
on the bench seat) while now I don't put my knee on the bench, I stand on my feet, leaning on the rack
or the bench (I noticed it works my back way better this way).

The difference is noticeable for the last set: with my right side I can do 6 reps no problem,
ready to move up with the weight actually,
but with the left side I can only do only 4 and when I drop the weight the pain is breathtaking..

What do to?
Should I keep the weight the same until my left side gets stronger/on pair with the right side?
Or I should do it with different weight for each side?

thank you!

You perform the exercise on your weaker side first and match the achieved rep number on your stronger side rather than surpassing it to reach failure.

If the strength discrepancy is slight it won't take long to level them out.

Thanks Ben, now that you mention it, before changing the form I clearly remember
doing the left side first, last two times I did the opposite and noticed the above

Not a problem mate, when they become equal you can start each set on alternate arms to prevent it happening again. :)

Don't know how your form is. I'm not a huge fan of 1arm rows cause most jerk and twist too much. Why don't you try bent over 2arm db rows and see if there is a real discrepancy or if its a form issue.
Peace

Form (and concentration) is everything for me, on each and every exercise I pay all my attention to the form,
so it's safe to state my form is correct.

As for the 2arm db rows, I find the 1arm a very effective exercise on me and I already do bent over bb row, bent over v-bar bb row;
lastly while I'm not an ego lifter - as in stimulation is what matters not really weight numbers for me - the 1arm allows me
to do it with much more weight which in this case gives me way more stimulation on the back muscles and consequently better result.

The difference is not that much, like I said I've noticed it since I went for the "both feet on the ground" variation
I just got thrown off from that because it never happened to me before

Thank you a lot for the input :)
