I have seen peoples testosterone vary up to 50-60% from different test. If you are fighting any kind of stress (biological, structural, emotional, environmental, lifestyle) the it can vary significantly. When I see low testosterone I ask specific questions to what was happening at that time or a month or so before to look for possible causes. One can usually find the answer if they ask the right question and have the proper diagnostic tools.
Thanks for the info, I'm kind of new to all this. Just trying to find my libido & erections which are currently in hiding. (Started 1 month ago.)
I have been in an amazing emotional state, but the past day was kind of rough. I had my doctor tell me he looked at my ultrasound scan sent to him from my old doctor, and I was fine. But then when I asked his office for a copy of it, they said they never got it. I was like damn, I could tell he was tired of my questions and kept saying "this is just in your head" but I didn't think he would lie to me. LOL crazy.
I got pretty worked up, but I am laughing it off now. I still think I am going to go get tested again tomorrow. He just did overall T. How quickly can your T levels drop or be effected? (By emotional or even a varicocele)
I have a slight varicocele, which seems like the cause of libido loss. Or my DHT conversion got ****ed up by using hairloss prevention ****. My overall T was 623 which made me real happy to see, but my stuff still isn't working. So I wanted see my Free-T and DHT levels.
Thanks again for the reply man, it means a lot. I'm going to fix this crap.
T levels can change fairly fast because T turns over fairly fast and requires constant production. The going wisdom for hormone imbalance issues is to check thyroid (more than just TSH), adrenals (cortisol), and then the stuff you listed. My experience is that some labs are not reliable. So repeat testing may also be important especially if some result looks out of line.
