Feet/ankle swelling on TRT?!?!

Hey guys,
So I've been on TRT (Test E 200mg/ml) for about 8 weeks now, and after about week 5, I noticed that my feet & ankles pretty much stay swollen. They dont hurt or anything, just swollen. I drink about 1-1 1/2 gallons of water a day and exercise regularly. On occassion, there are a couple days here and there that the swelling is reduced, albeit still there.

Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas to negate this?

Thanks,
-J

Does it feel like pressure, aka swelling, or is it water retention?

Have you had your estrogen levels checked?

How often do you have that Test E dose?

It doesn't really feel like "pressure", and I wouldnt have thought water retention with drinking so much water throughout the day.

My last labs were E2 (171) and Total Test (1469), and I was taking 1ml a week of Test E, but now I've scaled it back to .5ml and still have the symptoms (swelling). I know that my E2 was SUPER HIGH; however, Ive been out of town for last couple weeks for work and was unable to get back to my Endo after the latest labs.

total T taken when?

How many days after last shot.

Thats a lot regardless, and yeah your Estrogen is high, I'm going through E issues atm myself (mine was 211)

I dont think your water intake has anything to do with water retention, its the fact you have high estrogen.

My face has been bloated (starting to go down now) but mainly sensitive and puffy nipples. Guess everyones body responds differently to varying levels of estrogen.

Eitherway you need that in check, one of the more experienced guys can give you some more input.

BTW.... how come you are on so much T? Your Endo suggested that much?

hhmmmm also noticed a few other posts on this site of other people talking about swelling in the feet and ankle (though they are running cycles.

The common answer was.... get your blood pressure checked by a doc or nurse.

Do you have BP issues?

Most likely water retention from Too much test and more so estrodial. Proper labs will answer this question. It could also be indicating pre exisiting thyroid disorder which is common when on HRT because the issue was never addressed in the beginning. This is why proper monitoring is crucial when you are on HRT which 80% of the dr's out there do not know how to properly due.

The 1469 T was a WEEK after last pin. And yea, now that you mention it, my face has been a bit puffy as well. My nips are kinda bothersome too. I have no idea what my blood pressure is; I guess I could run by Walmart and see. But yes, I normally have higher (within normal limits) BP. Im supposed to get more labs done after dropping the dosage to .5ml a week and give that 4 weeks, so far its been about 2 1/2.

Your estradiol is sky high. Get on an AI right away. Sore nips, bloat, that's all signs of high E. I can't believe these doctors and their doses. I'm guessing you are going through a clinic to get a protocol like that.

I was on 200mg/week before I got my labs back. T over 1300 and E over 130. I added aromisin and lowered my T dose.

Nope, not a clinic. It's an Endo. and yea, I think she doesnt know exactly what she's doing, and since Im military and HAVE to use TRICARE and referrals.

I go through a clinic, but the communication is good and we work together to get the results I'm looking for. His protocol includes hcg and an AI as well. Most doctors won't or don't prescribe those two meds leaving their patients with shriveled nut-sacks and swollen nips. You can find Arimidex, or aromisin online through some reputable research companies. I'm using liquid aromisin now and it has made all the difference.

The Million dollar question!

Been lurking around for days trying to find a reputable research company "as many know already there shutting down"
wish forums will just start a thread about it! Have all this great information and knowledgeable people and want to help people...but when it comes down to putting bunk into our systems "discussions on companies are rule breakers and comes down to sponsors"

sorry for jumping in but been looking for a reputable research company for days.....
