my first ever bulk

I feel it is more about how you portion your macros and calories are are a close second so sadly I am unable to help you with what you are looking for.

ok, thats fair doos, but maybe you could still tell me whether i should be gaing weight right away, and if i am gaining weight but stop, is something wrong?

anyway, other guys: i still need to know. quite badly actually.

if you're not smoking cigs, drinking enough water, and eating enough food, you should be seeing strength or size increases.

that will tell you what you need to know.

ah, thank you very much. still though, if i stop gaining, would i need to up cals?

for my workout, i do 3 sets of 15 on all the machines i'm allowed on, followed by cardio. sound ok? more reps, less? also, what kind of speed should i be doing them at, for optimum weight gain? i currently do them quite fast, and i've got a feeling thats wrong.

i just calculated my maintenance calories: 1962, apparently. sounds about what i thought (though i dont really count calories), but the test just didnt seem complicated enough lol.

it was:

sex
height
weight
exercise level

what do you guys think?

Wow the questions.
Macros > cals
If you stop gaining, increase cals by 200-500 till gaining 1-2lb a week again.
Look into a more advanced workout routine in time which will help you gain better and achieve your goals.
NOW go eat and get off the cpu.

hello.

i know this is something of an old thread, so i assume it would be frowned upon to revive it, so, as thats what i gonna do, i apologise.

anyway. when i finish bulking i was just planning to go back to my old maintenance calories and just cut until i reached my previous weight. but then i read somewhere you have to be at minus maintence to lose bodyfat. now, in my case, would this mean my old maintenance or my new?
