I just started watching this series and I'm impressed. The series does a great job with the fight scenes, and the actors are legit. If you haven't seen the show yet I would recommend it. It is available with any Netflix account. Post your thoughts about the series. It's right up there with 300 in my book.

 
The main actor of the series, who plays Spartacus, actually developed non-hodgkin lymphoma during the first series. From what I was told he beat the cancer and before being ready to pick up filming again his cancer came back. They just made the prequel, which the last episode airs this Friday. Sad story but I'm hoping he recovers and beats this disease.
 
Watched a couple episodes, did not care much for the language and all of the sexual bull****. Thought the show would have been better if they just kept it to fighting and training. Its almost like cheesy soft porn

There is quite a bit of soft core porn. Keeping it to fighting would have only appealed to us though. I'm not a fan of some of the homo stuff in it, but the series as a whole is better then most of the crap on tv today, especially Jersey Shore. Now if 2 of those clowns fought to thier death in the arena I might watch it.
 
no kidding, I've never watched the show but had heard so much talk about it I youtubed it to see what the show was like. I have never seen such little ****y jerkoff kids in my life. Looked like some little Guido kids with wifebeaters and 16" arms who thought they were God's gift to women, frikken joke
 
I was hoping it would show what happened to Spartacus and the hot slave lady....my my my she was gorgeous and I can't even remember her name ATM...Meera? ....But other than that I liked how the first season ended. Except for that blonde and her general husband not dying, whatever their names were.
