I figured the safest to most effective antibiotic is Bactrim and the most effective topical solution is Azelex. But what about clenser? I have no idea, what about proacitve or acne.org's solution. I have used the proactive and don't like how many steps it has.

minus all the horrrendous side effects they are being sued for

i took accutane.....i havent gotten any acne in years. its completely awesome having perfect skin year 'round no matter what.

the only sides i got were short term.

really chapped lips/skin.

if you do steroids, but won't take accutane for fear of sides, i think you needa get your mind right

well, i didn't get chrohns.

however, during the time your cholesterol levels were jacked up, plaque was built.

it doesnt matter that your hdl goes back to normal. damage is being done while its not there to protect your ateries.

its not like the liver.

If your not a pregnant woman you should be all set.

yea their children having birth deffects is concerning, however, they are not the only people experiencing serious sides.

The point is over time it is possible to reverse this damage. Also it seems some people are able to live on pretty high doses of trt with little to no negative impact on their health, interesting huh. Ulcerative colitis, on the other hand, is a real MFer. Inflammatory bowel disease, suicidal depression, and liver damage are some of the other things Accutane being sued for in the class action law suit.

Theres a reason it was recalled in 2009....

Anyhow, if you choose to use this product I wish the best of luck to you but I feel it important to know the risks involved; much like anything else in life.

all glory be to Jesus then that i wasn't harmed by Accutane given the possible sides.

although, i believe that side effects have been overstated.

accutane isn't liver toxic. it is a super strong vitamin A. vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin which means excess isnt excreted, but stored in the liver. When i was taking accutane, i took it for 3-4 months and got blood tests done every month to ensure that my body wasn't being harmed.

also, my dermatologist that prescribed accutane to me also warned about how 1 kid killed himself while taking the treatment. i don't know if that can be considered a side..

however, i count my blessings. to me it was worth it to take the risk. when you're a teen, and even older, acne is damaging to your life. socially, psychologically, and even physically to the point of leaving scars.
