Hey I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hello. Also I have a question I'm 17 and I'm working out and trying to gain weight and strength for hockey. I'm working out about 6 days a week and have still have not seemed to gain a pound from my workouts I have noticed that I have been toning a little bit, but other than that no weight gain. Might any of y'all have any ideas for the type or brand of protein shakes I should be drinking after workout and what I should drink during workout to get the most out of my workouts. I don't have a lot of money to spend on this stuff but I will do what I can. Also I don't want anything that will mess with how my body will function later on.
 
basically Eat like an animal , your young and need tons of food, eat alot since you do hockey and work out 6 days a week your going to be loosing alot of weight. Get

I have NO War. I think its alright but when I'm drinking it it tastes dry and powdery. I never can seem to get all the powder dissolved. any help? I have this problem with my protein powder too.

I'd train 4-5 times a week instead of 6...at 6 days a week ur going to burn a ton of calories......


Focus on compound movements
- Squat
- Bench
- Power Clean
- Deadlift
- over head press

Supplements:

Protein and Multi's are a must
anything else is optional

Train like a freak
Eat like a horse

this is my mantra right there... the meat a potatoes of building lean mass.... and if you're playing hockey, this is right up your alley...
 
Thanks any ideas on good to alright tasting protein shakes when mixed with water. I normally drink it with milk but can't keep it cold for the period of my workout. I had monster milk and it tasted alright. Wasn't to big on the after taste. I now have the premade EAS myoplex. And they also have a bad after taste. Also for not premade drinks do y'all have any ideas on the best shaker style.
 
nutrapro online at nutraplanet.com is good and cheap.....myofusion is pretty cheap for a national band and the vanilla and chocolate taste really good in milk
 
For the money Nutrapro is a steal. I have strawberry and it tastes like strawberry quik drink, it still tastes good with water.
