I can't stand to use a phone. Whenever it rings I jump out of my chair. I dread whatever may be on the other side. The chances are whatever it is either I don't care or it's bad news. Or both.

I don't like making calls either. If able to choose between email, personal, or phone, I will choose in that order.

Anyone else a weirdo like me? :trout:

I used to hate talking on the phone to people I dont know. Now I do it all day at work. I still hate phone conversations when compared to in person.

I have a hard time imagining working at a job that requires huge amounts of phone conversations...especially if it's the public.

That's about like me.

What brought this on...I went to see someone about possible aid to pay for college since I'm laid off. The front desk said I need to call and make an appointment...wtf?!?!?!I'm standing right there! Just make an appointment! lol So "in person" didn't work.

Anyway, she handed me a business card for the person I need to see. I automatically got the dread of calling, but saw there was an email address so I just emailed her instead. Hopefully she replies to email!
 
The telephone ringing makes my blood pressure rise and I feel slightly panicked. I don't know why. Maybe it's from 4 years working as an insurance adjuster.
 
I cant standing receiving calls or making them.. EVER.. I love to text, or see the preson in person... Your not alone brotha.. For some reason, I cant find anything to say on the phone so it becomes kinda awkward LMAO...

Do you have the problem of someone talking and the...awkward silence for like one second...then they say "You still there?"

That happens to me ALL THE TIME.
 
Damn it.

The lady never replied to my email. I was hoping to have a response this morning.

I've been staring at my phone for an hour thinking I need to call her, but keep finding something else to do instead so I can avoid calling.

Pretty much haha.. IDK what it is, but I cant stand talking on the phone at all, even if it was my best bud, or Mom..
 
i hate phones.i do not have a cell. i have a home phone i do not answer it.the wife or kids do they take a message.i always think the person on the other end is taking a dump or playing with themselves creeps me out.
