Deca- Questions

First off, I have no intention of using this anytime in the near future. I just have some questions. I have read that deca helps with joints. How so? Is it more for pain relief or does it have healing properties? Will it heal damaged cartilage?

It is said to increase collagen production, but ive yet to see any studies proving so. What has been proven is the fact that since deca causes you to retain so much water, your joints will become more lubricated. Thus you get a sense of better feeling joints.

Increases "good" collagen production
Can you post some sources?

I've seen this (and stuff like it) posted numerous times on various forums yet have never seen any evidence to back any of it up:
Deca @ 3 mg/kg a week(about 270 mg/wk for a 200 lb male) will increase procollagen III levels by 270% by week 2.

Primobolan, @ 5 mg/kg, will increase collagen synthesis by roughly 180% -- less than deca and equipoise but still substantial.

Equipoise @ 3 mg/kg will increase procollagen III by approximately 340% -- slightly better than deca.

Exactly... Id like some clinical data on it actually producing more collagen. ONLY substance I know that does strengthen ligaments/tendons is HGH...

But Deca does lube up your joints so it does have other benefits besides its muscle building capabilities

Thanks for the info guys. I have a lot of joint problems and was looking for something to help clear it up. HGH was my first thought but from what i hear its pricey. Would you say there is a chance it could influence collagen growth?

You can find a lot of other studies if you google for a bit. It may seem tangentially related, but don't ignore them just because they are in patients with HIV or osteoporosis. You're never going to find an article that starts with "In bros looking to get swole and/or jacked, the administration of..."

Ha thanks. I'm looking at using it more for healing properties. The fact that it is a muscle builder is just a nice extra.

I can personally attest that 1,4AD "bold" products work wonders for tendons. Kinda sad that they are banned now.

HGH is the best way for sure but yea it takes some deep pockets to run. At only 4iu's/day for a 6 month run, which is required to see the muscle/tendon building benefits, itll run you about 3-4g's.....
