3rd cycle.. kinda

i'm trying to plan a cycle but i'm curious to everyone's opinion.. i've done a cycle of hdrol and a cycle of havoc in the past... but both times my diet turned to **** and i gained a total of about 5 lbs on both of them combined.. i have a good diet going into it and then i rely on it doing the work..

i guess the reason for this is i was heavier at about 15% bf and i assumed "well if i dont take in enough i'll just have a recomp effect and get leaner" however this NEVER happened.. i basically wasted money and and could have easily put on the muscle naturally w/o the risks..

so for my third i'm hopefully going to be around 170lbs in single digit bodyfat... (this is months away and that's my plan)

i plan on bulking for two weeks were i assume i'll put on about 3-5 lbs since i'm coming off a cut and then running ... something

i'd prefer the gains to be dry so is it time to hit another hdrol cycle? or should i move to something more extreme

Don't rely on the product to do the hard work for you. There's no reason to cycle (in my opinion) if you can't eat properly. That's the hardest part of it all...

I wouldn't move onto anything (more extreme or not) unless you take care of this part first.

If this is hard for you, start slowly but cutting down on certain things you can live without and then work on getting rid all the garbage (on cycle AND off). It's like a smoker quitting cigarettes... It's hard, but you can do it. It's a complete lifestyle change for the better.

Think you answered your own question with the above post dude.

Get your diet and your training happening in sync for at least 6-12 months before you even think of running another cycle.

Why waste the money if you can't demonstrate the commitment? Also if it's months away then worry about it once you achieve the goal.

& FYI if you aren't eating properly or lifting consistently don't even think about something 'more extreme'.

my diet is spot on now.. i have no problem.. i eat nothing but chicken, tuna, brown rice, brocolli, and eggwhites with NO exceptions cept shakes

... and by this I mean you were only very recently at a higher level of BF and you said yourself you've been inconsistent - what do you hope to achieve with a PH?

Now you're eating properly so if the goal is another 5-10 lbs you should be able to achieve that over the course of the 6 months it'll take you to cut plus the 3 months it would take you to cycle/PCT.

when i say i wasn't eating properly i dont mean that i was eating 3 meals a day...

i still hit 6 meals a day.. with around 400 grams of carbs and close to 300 grams of protein a day.. but every other day i would maybe miss a meal or was just stuffed and couldn't finish my meals.. (i was taking in over 4000 calories)

so it's not like i joined a gym and got on hdrol.. i was eating plenty for most to gain weight but for me it just wasn't enough.. now that i have slowed my metabolism down a substantial amound.. i wanted to bulk for a little while and then take something for the same reasons most ppl want to take things..

and i know it's a long process.. been at it for 7 years minus a year long back injury

So you weren't training hard enough then? Because even if you were eating 3 meals a day and taking in over 4000 calories you should put on muscle if you're training hard.

i train as hard as my shoulders let me.. haha.. they are always on the verge of gettin injured it seems... but yeah i trained hard.. my body just requires a lot of calories to gain.. (i was tryin to put on weight for 6 straight years).. but now i've been cutting and my metabolism has slowed down finally.. so i feel that when i go to put on weight i wont have to take in nearly as much.. at least at first

i started off at 5'10 at 130lbs at age 16.. so i've put in the time and gotten up to 203lbs at one point.. but damn has it been a struggle

Sounds like you'd be better supplementing glucosamine than a PH bud. If your shoulders are on the verge of crapping out it might be a good idea to have a coach look at your form on some of the danger lifts and make sure what you're doing is technically solid so you don't aggravate any injuries.

If you are determined to do a PH though Hdrol dosed from 50-75mg for 4-6 weeks.

i'm on it right now.. i'd supplement it for a week and then get off.. but i've been on it for 2 weeks now and the shoulders are feeling much better

if your hurt in any way i wouldnt suggest taking anything man, why risk hurting yourself more and then basically wasting money??

it's not really hurt.. they just pop a lot when i rotate my arm and every few weeks they get pretty achy.. but i'm using fish oil and glucosamine like it's goin out of style and they are feeling much better.. but this cycle will be in prolly 2 months at the earliest so there is no rush
