E2 Procharge

Anyone used E2 procharge with "liver bypass technology?" I have yet to find what the MOA for the liver bypass is but I heard one report of someone gaining 6 lbs after 6 weeks of use using just this protein. Granted those aren't off the chart gains but still worth noting. Anyone with experience or info?

Haha it was 6 lbs in six weeks bro, otherwise I would have known it was pure bull****. And I see your point about GNC, hell i went in there the other day for the first time in a couple years since I discovered the Planet just to kill some time and saw a 2 lb jug of Muscle milk for 50 bucks! Can you believe that POS store? I actually read it in an Anabolic Almanac magazine. I reader wrote in saying he started using this new protein and gained six pounds in six weeks. His question was if he doubled his dose would he achieve better gains. The answer from the "expert" was no and he explained how the body can only physically synthesize so much muscle and that there is a point where no matter how much excess protein you provide it just won't be used to build muscle. None the less, liver bypass sounds interesting as it could potentially deliver more of the ingested protein directly to the muscle. So I'm just looking for any feedback from AM members you may have tried or have an opinion.

oops my bad... yeah i hear ya... if this liver bypass is legit than hell yes, but until i see some clinical studies... i mean, if this stuff is legit, it would be BLOWING UP.. but hardly anyone has heard of it.

Love it! What is it a transdermal protein ;) Like rub it in to the skin and munch munch munch. Novel way of eating.

Annorexia - cured just paste it on their skin whilst their sleeping!

Sorry to inform you but any food entering the stomach has enormous difficult bypassing the liver. The heptatic vein makes sure of that.

I agree a few proteins can "pass through" the liver by inhibiting relevant enzymes that would otherwise destroy them. These compounds are known as anti-depressants and most are tightly regulated by the FDA.

You sound like you know what your talking about matthias, so your saying that this technology isn't even possible? I don't doubt you, just want a further understanding- thanks

Its marketing. In the UK the term would probably breach trading standards. They could be dumping quertin (sp? - the stuff Nutra sell with PEA) or pipperin (pepper extract) in it, which would make it an exaggerated claim.

Another possibility - which is what I think - is that they are using highly absorbable whey/caesin fractions, similar to what PP are using in Premax. The more rapidly absorbed the protein is there is a chance of better gains as a pre-work out supp.

I'll be running Premax this year and looking forward to it. Looks great.

At present I'm really happy with PP - although wish they'd make more of a presence on this board.

Thanks matthias, I wanted to post the ingredients for you, in case your curious, and also in the hopes that you can identify something in them that might actually cause the product to work haha. I don't know all too much but from what I can see there are some legit ingredients but also some junk, and of course, the amount of each isn't provided. What do you think?

I finally understand - its a standard mass gainer. Loaded with high GI carb. Otherwise it looks good.

Some days it really isn't worth getting out of bed ;)

If you're wanting a post-workout insulin spike, it will probably work a treat. If you rigidly stick to low GI (except when I don't) - its not for me. I hate mass gainers - what a waste of good whey ;)

VitD trendy, ORAC look good, copper is in there, zinc is missing, proteins: whey and caesin fractions (at a guess look like I was partly right), tyrosine will give a bit of a boost. Beta-alanine where?? Standard NO stuff. nice stack of B-vits.

The carbs to me look like a disaster - hardly "long chain" but thats just me and what I do. Personally I would say if you're gonna use high GI carbs for insulin spikes use them separately after the workout.

But hey as I've never used a "mass gainer" in my life I've no idea how to use them.

Good luck.
