green mag vs size on

see, ive tried green mag twice and didnt see any results except a full toilet of the runs. what about dymatize or whatever creatine mono. its like 8 bucks lol

how did you take it? dose and with food or no food?
 
first i tried 1 scoop pre workout no food for better absorption for 4 weeks and gained maybe 1 pound. then tried it post workout for 4 weeks and gained 2 1/2 pounds both only 1 scoop a day along with proper diet and training and over a gallon of water a day with multi vitamin...omega 3's...etc. maybe i just dont respond to it.
 
Creatine is very user dependant. What works for one may not work for the other. You have to experiment a bit and find what fits you best.

Also water retention is what creatine does. It acts as a shuttling agent for nutrients. Where the problem lies is:
A good creatine will store water intracellularly (inside the muscle or cell). This is what you want because you want the water to drive the nutrients into the muscle for obvious reasons.
A bad creatine will do the complete opposite and sit outside the cell. EQ or extracellularly...bad. Bloat...faded lines and striation are signs of this.

In a nutshell thats the bottom line of creatine and what makes one good or bad for the most part IMO. Ive used creatine a long long time ago and all I got was eq fluid retention. Gave up on it...brought it back one day (a different kind of course) and seen/got nothing from it.
Had some free samples of SizeOn recently, first workout I used it with it blew me up (the "good" way) and have been using it since. Ive also used green mag free samples and didnt have the same effect (comparing the 2 for future purchase as I wanted creatine back in my lineup).

Not saying green mag doesnt do its job at all as controlled labs is a very reputable company with great products. But in some cases I look for something with (for the most part) immediate results or atleast am sold on the one that provides that. I may be missing out on some good supps because of my ways but, atleast I know with my approach Im not ending up possibly wasting time waiting for nothing to happen.

those are decent gains, what were you expecting?
 
I loved the old SizeOn Arctic Ice flavor . . . .tasted good and had good gains, but I dropped into local VS to see what they had and they were running a special on the big tub of Green Mag for $28 . . . Can't top that
 
ive gained more without being on creatine. only on food. and ive gained more on CEE caps. i gave it a shot, didnt work well for me. others like it, i dont. i expected more of a gain while being on creatine then not on creatine. i can bulk and gain about a pound and a half a week. so adding creatine, i expect at least a bit more. at least thats what ive experienced with other creatine products. about 1 pound a week, give or take 1/2 pound
