You have to call winner , round , method , and can get a point for each correct call .
TKO/KO count as the same thing .
Submissions should be obvious .
If you think it will go to a decision you need to specify what kind of decision . Split , majority , or unanimous I believe are the only options . Split is a tie , majority is 2 out of 3 of the judges , unanimous is all three in favor of the same guy . I'm thinking we will only use the KIND of decision in the event of a tiebreaker . If there is a clear cut winner then I won't worry about it . UFC 106 pickem was a three way tie . I'll try to get them scored Sat. night or Sunday at the latest . I'm interested to see how many people give Kimbo a shot . Pick away !!

First off , thank you guys for participating . If for no other reason than bragging rights and seeing if calling fights is something we are good at or not . Buuuut we need to clear something up . In my OP I said that split decisions are a tie . Am I correct there ? If I am , you guys might ought to change your posts . You both have a guy winning via split . Which if it is a tie nobody wins . Please corect me if I am misunderstanding . These pick'ems are pretty fun and if they catch on I wan tto be doing them right . Thanks .

a split decision is when two of the judges have a fighter winning and one judge has the other fighter winning so the fighter with 2 judges wins, whereas a unanimous decision is when all the judges scored one fighter winning

Thank you Sean I just went to UFC.com and read prob the exact same thing . I do most of my keyboard work at the office where we have a filter of some sort and can not get on UFC.com to check the rules I thought I knew. Anyways , these Pick'ems are kind of test runs and if the results are inaccurate , then we be aiiiiight :bigok:

Also I'm thinkin since th edecision confusion was my bad , we won;t use it as a tie this time . If there is a tie , then there is . It's a work in progress!:32: Thanks though .
