Well, woowwww, what a game.

The Sports Illustrated Cover Jinx lives on. Nah, seriously... I hope he's okay for the Florida game. Obviously, it will hurt them immensely if he's not.

However, I gotta tell ya... I hope this puts an end to all that Heisman hoopla nonsense.

And for a little comedy...

Rubbering, I cant believe you seem happy after that win. I would feel ashamed.

Yes, but your shame would have to do with your over-sized belt buckle and Glenn Beck t-shirt.

Perhaps you should be more concerned with the 531 yards of total offense and the 188 rushing yards your Longhorns gave up last night.

No, you have to be kidding. Good one.

My picks for the weekend... well, the one's I have $$$ on. I've played this the whole season, 19 games and a bonus game. Couple bad weekends, but all in all I am def in the +.

Illinois Cincinnati Cincinnati Win
Alabama Auburn Alabama
Nebraska Colorado Nebraska
Pittsburgh West Virginia Pittsburgh
Nevada Boise St. Boise St.
SATURDAY GAMES - November 28th, 2009
Clemson South Carolina Clemson
North Carolina North Carolina St. North Carolina
Mississippi Mississippi St. Mississippi
Arizona Arizona St. Arizona
Miami (Fla.) South Fla. South Fla.
Florida St. Florida Florida
Virginia Tech Virginia Virginia Tech
Utah BYU BYU
Arkansas LSU LSU
Tennessee Kentucky Tennessee
Georgia Georgia Tech Georgia Tech
Notre Dame Stanford Stanford
UCLA Southern California Southern California
Navy Hawaii Navy
BONUS GAME - November 28th, 2009
Oklahoma St. Oklahoma Oklahoma St., 28-21

Good picks, CC! I think the Clemson-S. Carolina and Miami-USF games could go either way. I'm not so solid on LSU over Arkansas... although it is a night game in Baton Rouge.

they win like iowa has all season...$hitty!!:ziplip:

Yes, Iowa and Alabama are so comparable. (((facepalm)))

Wow... 12-0 sure brings out the haters. Btw plenny, I'm willing to bet you'd have taken an ugly, hideous, unsightly, revolting... or ANY kind of win against Iowa or OSU.

Enjoy your team's six weeks off. The Gator boys and I have a championship game and BCS bowls to gear up for.

Toodles!

Yeah, I think with USF handling Florida St. and Miami's D not looking as threatening it did earlier in the season that USF will take it. However, bottom line is it will come down to which ever QB feeds his team and gets them going first. The LSU/Arkansas game... I had originally had Ark, but just kinda think LSU will pull it off. I never put anything past the Razorbacks though. On average I get 15-16 games right out of 20 each wk. The best wk I had I went 18/20 and my worst was 12/20 or 13/20 (not sure which). This wk I'm using USF, LSU. and OSU to pull even further ahead of some of my buddies. I should have been doing this all along, but I'll post these each wk from now on.

from what i witnessed today. Iowa, penn state, and ohio state would have easily taken alabama down. i guess we'll find out next season.

btw..congrats on the win. now lets see the tide smake the "gay"tors around

Oh man, I dunno about that. That's a pretty bold statement and I don't think I can agree with that. Alabama just played to their opponent today as they do quite often. If they had been playing any of them ^ they would have played to their level and still won.

where the hell did you come from???:trink26: last call is at 2am

ALMOST picked Nortre Dame to upset Stanford......didnt have the ball$ to do it. I can see ND playing this one for "Charlie".

Even Rachel Maddow (dyke) could see that Julio Jones is painfully overrated, Mark Ingram thought the game was tommorrow, and Alabama's performance was embarrasing.

A&M is not a bad team, and if you see just how many underclassmen are on the field for them, they'll be a force soon enough. If Auburn knew how to play special teams and realized that screen passes in fact arent the answer to everything, you would be singing a very different tune. You have two games I dont see you winning coming up so we'll just see about how you Bammers react. The only good thing that came from bama winning is a girl I know from Bama says I owe her a sexin now since Auburn lost.

...and Alabama's performance was embarrasing.

Yes, I'm embarrassed. I'm absolutely humiliated that my team came back from 14 down to win the nation's most heated rivalry game. I'm mortified that, when you take away two plays that accounted for 140 of AU's yards and 2 TDs, that you're left with a 26-7 ballgame. I'm abashed that they won with their passing game.

Look, the only thing Bama has to be ashamed of is that their QB is a native Texan. After today though, I might actually forgive McElroy for being from your backwards-a$s state.

That's funny, the same could be said for Auburn. You must have selective inanity.

^^^That's how I know you're gay.

Tim Tebow:
"My goal in coming back this year is to lead Florida to it's first ever undefeated regular season....and to date the girl with the biggest rack in Gainesville."

I wonder if she blocks for him as well??

Rubbering, I cant believe you seem happy after that win. I would feel ashamed.

After 6 missed holding calls and two clear offensive face masks that none of which were called coupled with two tackles made by the refs...id say we feel lucky to escape with our lives...damn refs.

Florida - FSU

ESPN'S COLLEGE GAMEDAY LIVE coming from Gainesville Florida, Saturday, November 28, 2009, 10:00 am...

Huge game today in The Swamp as almost everyone agrees this will most likely be Bobby Bowden's last trip to Gainesville as Coach of FSU. A bittersweet moment indeed.

Asked how big would a win against the Gators be today - his 34th rivalry game - he simply said "It would be the biggest of them all." FSU will certainly be fired up to get that done for BB - which painfully brings to mind to Gator fans a fired-up Michigan team winning the "last" one for Lloyd Carr in the 2007 Capital Bowl against Florida.

As for motivation on the Gator side, well there is plenty. It will be the last home game for the Gator seniors including Tim Tebow, something which Urban Meyer kept choking up about in interviews all week. For his part, Tebow will be insanely fired up to bring to reality his "promise" of the Gators first undefeated regular season.

And should the Gators win and go 12-0 and remain #1, they would only be the 3rd team to go #1 post-to-post in the BCS era (the first team to do it? None other than Florida State in1999). A Gator win today also sets up the National Championship (ah sorry, I mean SEC Championship) game of undefeated #1 and #2 next week with, possibly, a Heisman on the line.

Plenty of reasons to watch, even for you Big Ten guys :veryhappy:

PS: hey rubberring - you had me bringing out the smellin salts last night HaHa

Wheres Ingram? He must have died pregame. Obviously you dont appreciate how everyone at Florida and Texas were enjoying the Iron bowl or how everyone was wondering what exactly Julio Jones does that makes Bammers get down on all fours and beg for his weenie.

The same could be said for Auburn but Auburn is the definition of a close enough school. They've always been held back by the ****ty alumni there.

And I dont see how Im gay. Youre the ass bandit from the bay area who still likes alabama football and...CAL. Seriously, go wear a cutoff shirt with a purse and see how you dont even turn heads.

I personally hate Alabama. However, they'd beat ANY team in the big 10 by a minimum of 2 touchdowns. Auburn came out of the gates with as good of a game plan as humanly possible. They just didnt have enough juice to get the stop needed to win the game.

For the people saying Julio is overrated..? HE is the reason Alabama beat Auburn yesterday. If it wasnt for Julio Auburn wins that game. Him catching 4 straight first downs on the game winning drive now constitutes someone as being overrated? He might be the ugliest guy i've ever seen but he will end up being one of the best receivers in NFL history.

Fukcing UNC, Clemson, and Pitt, all costing me money

The only good thing that came from bama winning is a girl I know from Bama says I owe her a sexin now since Auburn lost.

And I dont see how Im gay.

Let's see...

Flagrant gay-bashing: CHECK
Over-assertion of supposed heterosexuality: CHECK

Basically, you're Chris Cooper's character in American Beauty. Yep, you're the colonel. (Well, without the military experience.) That explains your bitterness and self-loathing.

You know, you're the one who used the term red herring a while back. :ponder:

Anyway... just know that I am tolerant of you.

So, moving forward... Pitt lost to WVU, UNC lost to NC State, S. Carolina beat Clemson, Miss. State beat Ole Miss, and Oklahoma has a double-digit lead on Oklahoma State. Wow... gotta appreciate the unpredictability of rivalry games.

The one in the bottom right corner is not the same girl. She's Lucy Pinder as british model. Close resemblance and still hot none the less.

I would like to personally extend my thanks to Ole Miss for taking Houston Nutt off of our hands. Are you still pumped you did?

Has anyone else noticed that this weekend's (Thursday and Friday included) football games have been great. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact the Big Ten is off?

Yeah, I just checked, damn it, this may not turn out well for me if today keeps going like this. I'll survive being that I'm about 1,900 up from the beginning of the season, but I still don't like it.:rasp:

Maybe it's just me, but anytime a character from Willy Wonka would tell me to sprint, my guy reaction would be, "......are you serious?"

me and my buddy couldnt stop laughing when tebow missed that retarted looking, hyped up jump shot pass. that has to be the gayest thing i have ever seen.

For christ's sake, if you knew anything or even watched any games yesterday, Illinois played Cincy.:deal:

Tebow is one of the greatest players to EVER play the game of college football (playing in his final home game), and yet you continue to make yourself look like an utter moron with these type of comments?

You and the rest of your lame Big 10 conference have fun watching the national....I mean, SEC championship game next saturday, dipsh*t. :wave2:

31-10 Canes!! Awesome game. Awesome stadium. I will be catching more UM-USF games there (since Foley at UF is a chicken sh*t who won't schedule Miami after '13 - so more USF for us. Homo)

9-3.

2 things for next week :
Go Blackshirts! Horns down.

(As Sweet Home Alabama comes on the radio)
Roll Tide! Rammer Jammer...

(I want a TCU-Bama national title game.)

I'm with you that the big 3 "Florida Teams" should play each other every year, but I know you're also a bit of a Gator hater, J. I loathe UM all the same, though. ;)

If you were at the game then you were right across the street from where I work. I'm probably going to end up going through USF eventually myself for their CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) program. My wife actually has a bachelors degree from both UF and USF.

And I want a whoever-Bama national title game.

Btw... congrats to June Jones and SMU!!! First bowl game since (gulp) Prince released Purple Rain. That's 1984 for you youngens. :bigok:

Damn, "Purple Rain"....

LSU fans, I'm watching this Tigers-Hogs game and maybe it's just me, but... what is up with the EMPTY SEATS??? :wtf:
