it said
Because yohimbe blocks the enzyme monoamine oxidase, people taking yohimbe must avoid all tyramine-containing foods (e.g., liver, cheeses, red wine)
is this a problem should i avoid taking the 2 together???
best product ever. With organic milk post workout. My staple.
Fantastic thread!
I just placed an order..
One quick question!!
Is there an upper limit to these bad boys? I know Iron has one (don't know it offhand) but would taking 20 a day be bad? I have iron free multi's but do eat red meat fairly often.. Just curious if I should go lower?

Uni-Liver looks like such a valuable product, it almost looks too good to be true. But we all know about those things that look too good to be true- they usually have a catch. I'm thinking the catch is worse bioavailability with caps than powder aminos (i.e. Xtend, RecoverPRO).
However, I haven't had the time to read all 16 pages of this article and it's likely already been discussed. I could be very wrong about this availability estimate. If so, don't be afraid to bitchslap me textually.
no bro i have taking up to 70 aday and the more u take the better
70?!? Damn brother! I think I hit 30. 70 sounds like you'd have some full-time toxic ass syndrome :moon:
Last time I bought Liver Tabs I bought a case (it was either 10 or 12 in the case). I certainly love them, but I'm not throwing 100 back a day!
3 or 4 with each solid food meal is plenty fellas. No need to heavy dose a supplement. If you want more nutrition, eat more food!
Vitamin A is what you have to worry about overdosing on. Otherwise, have fun!

Saw that article earlier today, thus leading me to this thread! Thanks for all the info!!
So I've noticed the new labels have the Vitamin B12 at a way lower amount than the old labels for Uni-liver. Also a few other changes.
Has the formula on these changed recently?
Not sure when the label change took place as I hadn't had to buy any in a while since I bought a few jugs last time.
Anyone who is taking Universal Liver tabs is a moron. Look at the recent ingredient change. Enjoy the extra calcium leading to kidney stones. Calcium is now 120mg per 2 tablets.
Terrible. Get Beverly, it costs more, but you get what you pay for.
That means there is 60mg of calcium per tablet. So what? I'm big on dairy; I love my milk, yogurt, cheese, etc. Never had I had issues with kidney stones. I'm sure it's possible and everybody's body is different, but I've never had that problem. The most I've ever felt were bloated and gassy. I've used Animal and Universal products with success, and find them to be legit.

Adults usually need between 1000-1200mg of calcium a day. High calcium intake actually decreases risk of getting ks's.If you are getting your intake from supplements take it with food.Simple. one example

Nice find blacktail
:AR15firing: Slimcharles. Lets see some evidence.....
Evidence that Universal is putting out a subpar product? Look at their new formula, they have an inferior product, shoved more calcium into it, and are selling for more money!
Go and buy it fools!

More money? I only payed 10 dollars for 500 tablets.
Do you know why it's $10 for Universal and $35 for Beverly? You get what you paid for. Also, even Universal used to be cheaper, like $1 or $2.
W/e chumps keep using your low quality calcium + whey + some beef liver tabs, while I continue to use 100% Beef Liver.

where are you guys getting these for $10???! NP has gone mad with their pricing of these things... $19 when even the other "bigger" place has them for cheaper...
