First of all work on having an estrogen reducing diet
1. increase insoluable fiber
2. Decrease caffeine - increase e2 up to 60%
3. Loose excess body fat
4. Reduce alcohol consumption
5. Do not heat in plastic in the microwave
6. Get proper melatonin levels while sleeping (good sleep hygiene)
7. Examine Zinc, mg, b-6 deficeincy
8. Examine thyroid and adrenals - help speed detoxifcation of estrogen
9. Examine methylation issues - how estrogen is detoxified
10. Proper vegetable consumption - super greens if not getting enough veggies
11. Proper bile acid production to help escort toxins out of the body
12. Proper ratio of EFA - proper 6:3 ratio goal is 3:1. The average american diet yields >20:1
13. Reduce stress through practicing good lifestyle habits, balanced nutrition, resolving hidden anger or stress, identifying hidden stressors (mental, physical, biological, emotional, environmental)
14. Make sure estrogen is going in the proper estrogen metabolites (more 2 then 16,4 OHE)
Finally
15. Reduce sugars which reduces insulin levels which preserves nutrients such as magnesium, zinc, and b-6, ect
16. Exercise 30-50 minutes 3-5 times a week to help body to detox
17. SUNLIGHT - mother natures best detoxification for the liver. Sunlight stimulates bile production to help flush out toxins. Why do babies born with jaundice sit under sun lamps? It helps regulate proper hormonal cycles of night and day time. Too much melatonin can suppress thyroid function, and testicular production of LH, and also cortisol production. So if you do not turn off melatonin there is a hormonal downslide
18. Adjust your HRT so that you may not need ADEX.

FINALLY LAST RESORT
Add in the least amount of adex to get the best clinical result.

Too little sleep and almost 1 gram of caffeine per day have to be my largest downfalls. It's no wonder I need so much adex

Yep, caffeine is my biggest vice as well. I can literally see the difference in my physique when I am getting too much.

What do you think of using topical DHT (andractim) in stead of an AI?
 
a search on "ADEX" threw up ibuprofen - is this correct?

It can disrupt the cyp 450 enzyme system that helps to detoxify estrogens.
NAC will help over come this if you take alot of it
